This was a wonderful talk. Thanks for hosting Wendy Shaw. Decoloniality as a way of engaging with the world is an important topic. Regarding your last question I recommend my book Ecotheology and Love: The Converging Poetics of Sohrab Sepehri and James Baldwin." Would be happy to be on your show.
Great talk. The question I’ve been pondering about but still trying to figure out. What happens if we take Sufism out of the equation. Please help me find out what Islamic art is without Sufism
What is the relationship between Islamic art and Sufism? Sufism is summed up in practices such as ceremonies, rituals, dances, and chants that were new to Islam and that they perform at the beginning of the Hijri year, and nothing more than that.
