Most useful video for citroen. Only problem for me is - my picasso is year 2001, and I don't know what colour is another wire. I will try to do same you are, i hope it will work. Thanks again and all the best from Serbia.
Hi there, just got my xsara picasso 2002 working. Found the yellow wire, by piercing it while the clamp was on ground. (Car closes) If you cut this wire temporarely then the car opens again. So connect each end of the cutted yellow car wire to nc / common contact. Also connect the cutted end of the yellow car wire that goes to the dashboard to common contact of the closed switch. Then connect the no contact to the ground. When installing after market products in your citroen use an seperately supply. Get it from the battery directly and dont forget to place an fuse directly after the positive connection of the battery. Good luck!
Seems like a lot of cars are negative pulse, also a right pain with that single wire. Where did you get the permanent live for the unit? If you were to put it in the drivers door an easy one would be from the window motor however I don't think this car a permanent live, I could be wrong.
There is a way of using lock and unlock buttons as they were designed to in this case. You connect: Orange: to the door side of cut wire White and White/black: to the inside of the cut wire Yellow and Orange/black: not in use Yellow/black: to ground ( - on the battery) Your unlock button ony unlocks the car and lock button ony locks the car then.
