Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Purple Pokémon I find per Route (includes Pokémon to evolve INTO Purple Pokémon, but not non-Purple Pokémon that evolved FROM Purple Pokémon); Species Clause
3. Nickname Pokémon

Purrloin walks on two legs because it's literally fooling you by sitting on all fours like a cat before it steals from you lmao it only acts cute to get close to you before becoming a thief before running away laughing on two legs

purrloin was, in fact, always intended to be bipedal, even in the gen 5 anime. its whole thing is that it pretends to be a cute normal cat like a skitty and then it steals your stuff with its hands and then runs off with its two legs

Considering my friends and I are still "debating" what Setsuna's and Yukimura's hair color from Fire Emblem Fates is, this feels like another thing to "debate" about now XD

I think Setsuna's hair is closer to being just green than teal and Yukimura being the one with the teal hair color than her but I'm in the minority in the friend group XD

I get why he chose to risk TJ at the end (better story for the video) but it’s kinda funny hearing him eulogize not getting TJ to the Hall of Fame when he could’ve sacked Drifblim to get the clean swap to Mienshao. Either way, great video as always, love Flygon’s ability to create a compelling story using these silly children’s games
I would've loved to see the sac on driftblim cause it had the aftermath ability and that would've been the one time the ability is useful in a nuzlocke, but then send out TJ with the fake out/seed bomb combo.
Only problem is that it wasn't better.

This was a great run! You’ve learned how to get so much utility out of the Purrloin line and it always impresses me, especially given BW/2’s brutal early (in a challenge like this, at least) and midgame. Elesa into Clay has got to be one of the toughest trainer duologies in the series.
I love how I tried to Nuzlocke this game with a typical team and struggled. This man rolls in with the color purple and a dream and does it. Unreal. Good luck with Run and Bun.

I believe The Groke was guaranteed to outspeed, since it was level 55 being transformed, vs a lv 52 Hydreigon. At least, I believe that’s how level changes with Ditto works.
Nope. It uses level 55 in the damage calculation, and has the health of a level 55 Ditto, but the exact stats of whatever it copied.

Here's a fun idea: try an item nuzlocke, where if a pokemon dies holding an item, you must release the pokemon while the item is still being held by them, removing the item from existence too. Pokemon dies holding leftovers or rocky helmet, too bad you can't use those anymore. And if a pokemon dies in a battle where it had oran or sitrus berries at the start of the battle, you can't use those berries throughout the remainder of the playthrough.
