The addition of spoken dialogues is fantastic, it gives you much more immersion, the only note I make to you, when you find a car parked completely above the sidewalk, before you tow it, the right fine is no parking area, at the beginning of the video you have climbed points because the other quote the one above the sidewalk is valid when it is parked just barely on the sidewalk not completely. I don't know if I wrote well I use tranlsate, but I hope he was able to explain to me.

So wait in the US they don't test for drugs and alcohol after an accident but they'll pull over random citizens for a DUI check... Cant tell you how much this made me laugh.
There’s a Brighton in Michigan, but these characters lack the Midwest dialogue. Thank you Jeff for playing games the way you want to play because if I’m going to watch you do it my way, I’ll just play and not watch you do it for me.
Funny thing about the Boston influences on this game is that jaywalking is sort of a way of life here. In MA the max fine for jaywalking is $2, and you cant get jail time or anything so it just isn't enforced... it would cost more to think about writing a ticket than the fine would bring in. Also, Brighton MA is a neighborhood of Boston. Like many Boston neighborhoods though, it used to be a town.
Really looking foward to getting this game. I tried and failed to get lspdf working a long time ago and have been waiting for a decent police sim game. I really enjoy the sarcasm that your adding when it comes to peoples comments. Keep up the awsome work. On the first video i was so confused by the names and it took me a few minutes to catch on. Jeff! I got possibly good news about the game! So I went ahead and posted your suggestions on the Steam forum for the game, Stacking Charges, SP points for searching vehicles, ability to stop dispatch giving you jobs when you're busy, asking for ID or calling dispatch to check on a person once they been arrested. Here is their response: "Thx for the suggestions/ improvements! very good explained and in detail So, I transfered your text directly into our Task Mgt System :) Some of the things we already have on our list. Every point of your list makes sense and the game way better! We will figure out how much effort all of this is and if we can find slots for working on it in the next time already." So a big thank you to you, Jeff, for these ideas as they do seem really good and hope they get implemented, and a big thank you to the devs for listening to feedback!
You can also nail cars for parking in a handicap zone with no plates for it and you can issue a ticket for a no parking zone instead of towing the vehicle away and you will get bonus points for that instead of a tick against you.
I think im gonna give this game a shot when it comes out. I like lspdfr, but all the modding kinda killed it for me. And this honestly doesn't look that bad plus graphically speaking it's actually pretty solid from what I've seen.
For the car that is *completely* on the sidewalk, I found that you can do the "No Parking Area" ticket (the one with the upsidedown triangle next to a small circled X) and then tow. It will give you points for both. I don't get it, but it works. Idk why people who haven't played the game decide to tell you how to play. At least I can speak from experience, based on Day 1 build.

@Jeff Favignano You must be thinking of DUI testing laws in the US southern states. Where people could refuse a field DUI and drug testing. FYI, State of Franklin is a historical place that was a never formed US state. This is where East Tennessee and small parts of northwest North Carolina is located. So the game laws could of be based on this region of the US. This area does have field test requirements by officers. Also, when a person's drivers license is surrendered to a officer and they have all rights to give any field testing; even when person who is detained is refusing to take any test. Not complying to the officer in these states can result in a arrest.
Love the siren, even though I said it was a CHP siren, I feel dumb but we all have our moments but that was a bad one making that mistake. Can't wait for tommorow

6:08 That ticket needs to be the "No parking area". Too far into sidewalk is when one or two wheels of a car hits the curb in a normal proper parking spot :) !
This is why you got -points for the incorrect ticket. Technically you're kind of correct, but it was the entire car that was in a spot not meant for parking, so it's kind of makes sense :D Took me a few to get it myself. Also remember to ticket people too close to pedestrian crossings, people near fire hydrants etc. And in-case u didn't know about the cleaning zone, there is a special ticket for that in the "special parking" section and there u go for "street cleaning time" ticket:D Nice video nonetheless!
Addressing the point made about having to do things a certain way...thats also a simulation point. Irl departments have internal policies for what to do and not do that often differ from other agencies, as well as the fact that irl government at the local, state, and federal level have various laws and regulations that effect what an officer shall and shall not do. Example: Houston Police Department has a policy where if you are found exiting a vehicle that is still running and unlocked you can receive 2 different tickets, one for something along the lines of "Leaving a running vehicle unattended" and a separate ticket for "Leaving an unlocked vehicle unattended". But a neighboring agency next to HPD's jurisdiction has no such policy. This is because only the Houston area government passed laws and regulations about these, while surrounding areas have not. Thus, while an HPD shall enforce all Texas laws wherever they should find a violation inside the state, if they tried to write a ticket for those while in Montgomery County (just to the north), they'd actually be the ones committing a crime.
I think what would be a good feature to this is if they add the 10-8 and when you are not 10-8 you won't get any calls until you show yourself available.
