The Game of Rhythm - Dani Fiore Music | Fun drum games for music lessons!

Sometimes it is all fun and games..
In this rhythm game, I'm teaching how to feel, count, and anticipate different time signatures by playing (improvising) rhythms on drums and passing shakers. Changing time signatures and increasing tempos leads to tons of silliness. Students not only learn to play in different meters, but also benefit from the social connection, challenge, and laughter. (I mess up WAY more than my students do, and apparently that's hilarious).
In this video, we go over 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, and 7/8 time.
