Looks like that boat is a RIB and a 13" pitch propeller is installed. Right?

@@boatsandoutboards9070 RHIB, exact model is Seatec ProSport 270, motor Suzuki DF9,9B to 20HP (electric starter), stock Propeller 9,1/4x10 6250RPM WOT 25Knots, with SS Solas AMITA II 5750RPM WOT 26,4Knots. Max rpm when the limiter kicks in is 6300rpm. SOLAS Product no. 4121-093-11A 9.25x11
With the solas in stainless steel it is much much smoother with a lot les vibrations. Very happy with it, used as a Tender but very nice on sea and stable (the Seatec Pro Sport is quite wide 168mm and it helps a lot). As per user manual and data of the engine the max rpm threshold is 5300to6300rpm. In 2 people with the solas we are at 5500/5550rpm, with the stock 9.1/4x10 6100/6200. But the Solas seems to keep it on plane at lower speeds, the stock Suzuki propeller is more responsive (lighter).
All paired with SE SPort 200 hydrofoil.
      Very satisfied

now I'm working on a video on what you get with each engine upgrade, and what they mean.
if you have any suggestions on new video topics, please let me know

@@boatsandoutboards9070 There seem to be many trade offs between small and large boats. Your videos made me realize that bigger boats need exponentially big engines and the weight goes up exponentially. I was going to go for a 4m until I realized it would be a big pain.
I still can't decide what would be an optimum set-up space vs weight. What do you think is the optimal size for a boat for 2 adults + 2 kids joyriding and maybe for 2 fishing?
PS. I also need it to move 20-30 km/h with 2 adults and 2 kids.

@Quirkybicycle You need to be more specific.
      1) your total weight , 4 people
      2) what kind of car do you have, how much trunk space it has , does it have a trailer.
3)do you want a sib, rib or fiberglass boat
4)where will you store the boat
5)do you have access to concrete boat ramps, or you plan to sail from any beach ,lake, river etc.
6)will you use it in ocean, sea, lake or river
if you have a family car like volkswagen passat, and you have no trailer, and plan keeping the boat at home, you are limited to 330cm sib + 15 or 20 hp sib with wood/aluminum floor.
if you are light enough, there may be a chance with 330 air deck& 9.8hp & 20kmph

a 310 would be lucky to be rated for a 6hp never mind a 30 hows the transom handle the weight
