Also, does "SLUMBERING Wolf's shack" name of site of grace have some unusual properties that don't let you aknowledge the first word of it? I wish you could actually return her to her wolf, but oh well, at least they don't die like the rest of the quests.
For anyone that started the quest properly at the shack, but she's not showing up at the Apostate Derelict, you MUST have the Eclipse Shotel weapon (5:52) in your inventory, not in your chest. Try transferring it and pass time until noon and the summon should show up.
Life saver. Under rated comment. Also I kept trying to summon her like how u summon all other spirit summons. Didn’t know you have to be standing in a certain spot and press the action button (triangle, Y, E)
I’ve already retrieved the second half of the medallion before going to the slumbering wolf shack and cannot find Latenna there now :( Is there a way I can complete this or is the quest now broken?

I'm so sick of the game locking me out of things just because I explored in a different order then normal. Pretty much every single quest in this game has random things you need to do that you'll never guess without a video and if you do a single thing different your locked out of stuff it's very lame.
This is my first play through of any Souls game, and while I am doing alright vs enemies and bosses, the convoluted quests have been a struggle. Your videos have been a lifesaver for me. Thanks a lot.
I had trouble with quite a few things, looks like you’ll get locked out from completing this quest if you have already accessed the Mountain Giant secret area, although you will still be able to get some of the rewards shown in the video. Also Anasthasia did not drop the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone (wtf) for some reason she gave me a co-op invasive finger lmao.
Wow I got all of these items (besides the final ancient somber dragon smithing stone from Latenna herself) with no clue that Latenna, or Yura for that matter, even existed. I was really confused why the derilect was a no attack area. This now makes 5 NPC quests I gotta not screw up on my next playthrough😅 great vid as always!

Fantastic guide. The fact that you take someone through every step of the way and give warnings on potential lock outs is great. I've already beaten the game once and one my first playthrough, I didn't get the option to summon her at her sister. I had her summon so, I'm not sure what I did wrong or how I locked myself out. Gonna try on NG+.
if you dont find her alive at the slumbering wolf shack / if you just find her spirit summons then you get locked out of the quest. My newest series goes through all the quests in order so that you can complete all of them, might be worth a watch, at least for the first few parts.
Your guides are awesome! Could you do a video of which quests to do in the right order so you don't miss anything? I'm already too deep on my first play through to be able to get everything, and I'm sure there's more like me. Having a checklist and map of where to go to get everything would be amazingly helpful! @@ItsShatter oh man, you’re a lifesaver! that’ll be so helpful-there are so many quest dependencies and arbitrary skip/failure triggers you can accidentally trip just from mundane stuff as basic as exploring the open world too early (I think you can prematurely trigger Redan’s festival just by resting at any grace in altus)
Just in case anyone was curious, if you try to do as Latenna asks there at the end and lay her to rest by her wolf back at the cabin where you first encounter her, nothing happens. You can’t summon her, there’s no prompts for it, and discarding her summon from your inventory also does nothing, I checked (I’m on NG+8 so I have multiple copies of summons).
Don't know where I went wrong with this one. Latenna spoke to me when I made it to the consecrated snow field. Now I can't summon her in the apostate derelict.
One tiny hint with Albus. You can break him out of the jar by rolling into it. This avoids any chance of accidentally killing him. Also while going back to Roundtable hold for the hint is optional for the quest line. The invader that appears when you go there is the only chance I am aware of to get the miss-able Royal Remains armor set, not the best armor in the game, but it does let you look like a skeleton & has a minor heal effect that kicks in when you go below 18% health. As well as a skeletal dagger with a life drain weapon art.
@@ItsShatter Yes, and no. He will for a while, but at some point in this quest chain it's locked out. Not sure when. But if you wait too long the invasion will not occur.
I chuckled when you said to go back to the round table hold to ask Gideon about that medallion knowing what happens after you go back to round table hold
Only thing I hate about this game is that you can get locked out of super cool items like this because I played the game too much and now can't get one of the very limted dragon stones annoying. But very good guide keep up the good work

When you approach Castle Sol or enter Consecrated Snowfield, AND you've begun Latenna's quest earlier, she's supposed to talk to you. In at least 1 of my runs she stayed silent, even though I did start her quest earlier. In that run I found her BEFORE going to the Roundtable to confront Ensha, but I'm not sure if the two are connected.
I never would have known this cave existed…. I like to explore too. I had already killed the fire giant but only had the right hand side of the medallion. Everything worked perfectly from this point. Thank you 🙏

Shatter, do you know what locks players out of this quest? You usually mention warnings of certain actions players should avoid for quest... and I didn’t notice it in the video. Can you add in description what locks you out from summoning Latenna at the end when you find the sleeping giant lady?
I mentioned it at an off point here. It’s if you get both medallions for the Haligtree before meeting Latenna. She won’t be at the slumbering wolf shack to speak with and all you will get is the spirit summons. You won’t be able to summon her at the final location if that happens
@@ItsShatter so I got the first one from the old dude then went to Latenna to talk to her about the other piece. Went to go find it and brought it back only to find her gone with her Ashes left... I definitely talked to Latenna before getting both pieces of medallion for the haligtree but she won’t show up for the summon or did I get any dialogues when getting closer to the giant lady. Also thank you for responding so quick! Appreciate it man!

5:00 that right most site of grace is where i went, thinking that i wont be able to climb up. Then turned left and continued on that plateau type region on castle sol side, slightly slipped by mistake from the top near castle sol gate and surprisingly got the option to spawn at a state of marika. doing so i got to the bottom level pretty fast [ on the minus point that i sadly lost 37k runes ]
I forgot to do the very last piece of dialouge where she says "then I suppose its time... goodbye" and I was very disappointed when the Anastasia invader did not drop the somber ancient dragon SS. I won't be able to get that one I guess lol.

I think I totally messed up. I found the giant sleeping lady before finding Latenna's ashes. I tried bringing the ashes to sleeping lady but I got not prompt to summon Latenna. If you can help, that's be awesome. If not?.... I guess new game plus...
The option to summon her at the end isn’t appearing at all. I have the mirror shield and the eclipse shotel in my hand at noon and I have the summon equipped in my inventory but nothing works.

I did found the wolf did and i collected the summoning and i flow the Quistguide until the last but i couldn't summon lateena and i didn't get an ancient dragon i don't know why

She dropped it for me in both of my playthroughs
You need to kill her in there separate locations three times in order to get the drop. You need to kill her the rest of the times

i think he invades at any time that you return after getting the on half, right?

Despite having the Shotel and the spirit and doing everything right, the prompt still isn’t showing up despite her being right there

I've been at mountaintops of the giants, and she was still here for me. I think if you beat castle sol, or the fire giant, then she won't be here.

So, I dod everything right bur no npc. I did also try to gain quicker access via jumping to my death to spawn in consecrated snow fields.

It didn’t give me the option to summon latenna
I did found the wolf did and i collected the summoning and i flow the Quistguide until the last but i couldn't summon lateena and i didn't get an ancient dragon i don't know why

Would it have anything to do with Ordina Town? The archers look like albanauric ppl and they all are roaming with a spare direwolf. Maybe a way to get Loretta on one
