Jonwayne is the most technical and lyrical rapper in the history of rap! He literally doesn't have one weak song, the only one l can compare with him is El-P!
As much I love Jon, he definitely has a whole catalog of weak and wack tracks. He's nowhere near the best rapper but, that's what I like about him, he's a just guy who likes the craft of hip hop and happened to get a record deal. He persevere s and seems to get better the more he drops. Here's hoping that we get some new Jonwayne tracks soon!
@@mr.e2297 I'm praying for something new from jonwayne too. Sadly i'm afraid it may never happen, as i've read somewhere on youtube that he deleted everything he posted on the internet and said he stopped music..
Where can I find this besides TH-cam? This just came on when I was working out listening to him. Halfway though workout I’m like this is dope af. I never heard this before.
I guess Nas would be an excellent reference of what I want to get out of today's music and rap music in general. . Nas is a superior master race Emcee. his story telling, Image, Song titles, Albums, Persona , Lyricism , Emotion, he has that Message from the streets, he's a poet, and has an extremely rare and powerful message in all his songs, Nas is truly a genius. And I'm surprised he wasn't tooken out in the Golden Era, around the time BIG and Pac died. Bad is doing the same things Pac an Big were doing.
jon Wayne is missing true lyricism.. he rhymes simple words. he changes topics rather quickly. I like his flow, voice, Delivery, and Cadence, I also like his rhymes. he's like an early 2000's Eminem. Except even early Em had great vocabulary and message. Rap comes from the streets, that's what you wanna hear when listening to it. Nowadays it's not about streets or anything...

I get the idea that this guy would be just as comfortable versing with Peter Brotzmann. This is slick.

This hits different 💯🌟
7:30 this verse is so raw and the pause between makes the impactfulness of it hit so much harder

Listen to 40 Winks.
the true purpose of jonwaynes vocals/lyrics is accompying the beats
the beats are on the forefront
Finding a skeezer to beat em on the weekend. Sounds like plagiarism. Could be wrong.
This isn't Jon Wayne. You stole another artist's name.
