@@janesmithattheseaside yeah, I'm really not sure why some folks don't like their beliefs, they, well their are obviously those who do sound racist but many others argue against racism, so, it isn't like all the Jewish folk hate everyone of this group or that, they seem to have knowledge I've never heard of, well like one thing I heard recently, and never considered before, was something like, well hope I get this right, one Rabbi said something like, he doesn't ask God through his prayers for what God can do for him, instead, he prays to God how he can serve God in some way, pretty cool idea, how can we do something for God, which seems incredibly unselfish to me how people find problems with people of the obviously well meaning attitude, of course he is one Rabbi, out of many, and they all have their own particular beliefs, and they seem to also be great speakers, easy to understand, and I don't know, getting late anyway, and ive got to somehow replace the starter to the car tomorrow, else ill have to continue walking, which is no fun, if you have heavy groceries, or are in some hurry to get here or there...or if its raining...
Hard to do with no socket set, a small set bought, I think I only now a flashlight, a jack and jack stand, and avstreught screw druver to remive the breather , which is in the way of even seeing the starter, and I might be able to get it out, simevyoutube videos say it is hard to reach the starter bolts back side by the firewall, and it has to be removed from the top, but I heard one video say one bilt has ti be reached frim underneith, and i dint see riom down theur yo fit my arms, si hopefullt, a socket wrench extension can reach the third starter bolts

To embody a good spirit is true healing or said another way, to replace an evil spirit with a good spirit within is true healing. Anytime someone is taken up by the adrenaline and the lustrous sensation of fear-mongering, they have lost their way. I know because I have experienced it personally. And I know the difference between a good spirit and a bad spirit. It is because of this that I know God.

I disagree with the Jew in the center (don't know his name). The most popular activity in the Jewish community, bar none, is tzedakah. Always has been. Always will be. Part of our efforts of tikkun olam. And we don't only help our communities, as is evidenced by our efforts helping during disasters, etc
Yes, the best way of fighting antisemitism is as the Rebbe, of righteous memory, taught, through positivity. Positive interactions The Rebbe was appreciated and respected, even beloved, by people from every community, Jews and non Jews.

So why don't you tell me what you lack, and what you have plenty of, since you were born more recently than I did"

I live in miami and I would like to be invited to a dinner…
And I would like to invite a family to my home.... I experienced this on a tour I had by myself to Israel. Part of the tour was being invited into the homes of families of different faiths.. it was lovely listening to each person share stories and also wonderful food…
I agree with u. If we can find ways to be a world community… and share our lives locally.. the light will shine so strong… darkness will fade and even some who are negative, may convert to a more respectful and at least tolerant view. In reality , I think most people are mostly self absorbed with themselves and raising a family .. but humans tend to focus and give attention to what is going wrong and not celebrating all the good humans of different races are experiencing while interactions taking place moments to moment..☺️🐶💥

At it's foundation Torah teaches that ALL people are holy. It is the root of Jewish morality & purpose. Adam & Eve were told to be fruitful & multiply, & that meant everyone; not only Jews. We have the function of reminding everyone about this, whatever religion they clothe themselves with.

    • @613YY
      @613YY 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

Not quite true. All people are G-dly. Holy is a bit different. Holiness requires effort and is an ultimate attainment.
The core of a Jew's purpose is to bring heaven down to earth. To perfect the world for Hashem. That means sharing G-d, blessed be He, as He shared Himself, in the Torah. It is also accomplished by our performing the 613 mitzvahs. And by encouraging non Jews to bring earth to heaven by following the 7 Noahide Laws with all of their intricacies.
All people are G-dly. Holiness is something to attain.
We are all to be of service to G-d by helping others, not thinking of ourselves. That's what G-d wants and needs from all of us.
G-d, ultimately, will be known as the One.

I like it that you refine it. Sometimes these kinds of words get real personal. You might be more correct when it comes to Hebrew & Torah study. I didn't*t find G-d at shul. I found the divine Presence in the wilderness. Personally, I'd flip is. All people are holy. Jews are G-dly. To my mind both are potentials that can be developed by choice or diminished. Thanks for your input.

you're welcome. There are shuls and shuls. In some it's harder to find the Divine Presence than in others. G-d was in each one, though possibly not in an obvious way. Some people are more in golus than others. Some more obviously in golus.

From what I've read in the bible. The point of this life is: that God want's to create man/women in His image(tselem) and likeness(demut) Gen1:26. The rest of the passage doesn't use the word (demut) only the word (tselem). So there is a coming covenant that is left open. So before Mashiach we were in the image and likeness of Adam(fallen state), Gen. 5:3 "...he(Adam) fathered a child in his likeness, according to his image". The coming of the Mashiach introduces the new covenant that will give us the restored image(tselem) of God rather than Adam and work within us the (demut) of God, through His Spirit, to get to know Him. It will be completed once His kingdom in fully established. Anyhoo.. food for thought. May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob richly bless you today.

God has already done the work for us.
We simply need the fear of the Lord, not the secular law or the opinion of liberal elites.
Ally this with the detailed study of the Tanakh. The Torah gives us the bedrock, the Writings give us the discernment and wisdom before the world. And the Prophets give us our daily news . Nothing has changed , we are in Judges and Jeremiah.
