    Hey guys im not 100% sure but i think you found a leafy sea dragon skeleton due to the long snout. If so you are extremely lucky very rare to find one. Love this raw episode about responsibilities to family always in back of mind and just doing what you love and having the correct gear to do it,doesnt need to be the most expensive but has to be right for you.

    I definitely appreciate your filming efforts. The drone is great too. We can't do what you can do and love to see the places you go. And always love the cooking bits too. Frypans always last longer if you don't take them to high heat but sometimes you need to of course. Thanks so much Simon and Liz.

    Good on you guys for supporting those little community stores! I’ve listened to complaints that a lot of grey nomads will only shop in the big centres but still use & expect facilities to be available to use (free) elsewhere. One lady running a bush servo said that they are the worst for nicking toilet paper! 😄

    That is an awesome camp and adventure alright😅 we have stripes too,😝 unfortunately windows not protected. You left us wanting to see what happened in the dishwasher though😎🥲🤣 I too have never had a kettle in any camper, we use a stainless steel pot and it is so quick! Dual purpose too. 1 cast iron fry pan that has many years of seasoning I couldn’t be without, super easy to clean. If you do go non stick again you might be interested in a ceramic coating as Teflon is an evil substance, (I had better add in my opinion 🫣) looking forward to seeing your next camp 😀

    • @TheLifestylePioneers
      @TheLifestylePioneers  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Completely forgot to mention the dishwasher result in the video 😂 It survived! Nothing broken which is nice. We love cast iron too, but unfortunately it's a little heavy and doesn't pack well in a caravan. We're thinking we'll try stainless steel next.

    Nice camp. Can’t wait to do the south west ! … Trusty cruiser !! We love ours.
    Can I recommend,as a backup, Dog and Gun coffee drip filter bags .. sorry I don’t have a discount code 😉 but they are bloody awesome !! Raptor coat in real tree Camo .. 😂 (look up real tree camo if you haven’t seen it)

      Thanks so much. We've tried the Dog and Gun bags before, they're not too bad, and definitely a step up from coffee bags, just not as easy to get hold of when you're travelling.

    Hey there. Have you tested the Bluetti with your air conditioner yet? Just wondering if the 200L would run AC and for how long. Just as a back up in case if extreme temps.

    • @TheLifestylePioneers

      It would comfortably run the AC for about 2hrs depending on condidtions.

    Hello guys I’m sure you’ll be thinking about the weight of things but it is proven that Tefal/non stick pans are toxic especially once they are worn out and scratched and used at high heats. You should buy either solid teknics or stainless steel. Solid teknics are single sheet iron and will last a life time. They can’t go in dishwasher or be soaked cause of rusting but in our experience you don’t need to as you season them with ghee (which you can make in your thermomix, I noticed you have one and you can use that instead of a pan for your dinners - are you using cookidoo?) Also noticed you’re using a plastic chopping board - again these are proven to break down and put micro plastic into your food when you’re chopping on them. There are lightweight bamboo/wooden chopping boards if you’re thinking about weight and also a good one will last a really long time. Back to the pans - a lot of people are afraid of them cause food can stick to them if not used properly. Mostly you need to use high heat safe cooking oil like ghee or butter. And let the pan heat up properly before you put anything in it. And medium heat is usually all you need with these kinds of pans as they retain so much heat. I’m sure you guys can look into it further I hope you don’t mind me sharing this as it’s for the best health of you guys and your kids. If you would like me to send some awesome cookidoo recipes through to your email please let me know what it is. There are heaps of 30-45min go to recipes I use and would love to see you guys using your thermomix more! Kind Regards Kirrily
