Love how James asked if you were "alive then" 222 years ago......very funny and sweet. This whole area is one of our favourite areas. The natural beauty is just so amazing and great walks. What an epic adventure to locate that drone!!! Well done boys and especially Alan for spotting it. I'm sure you all enjoyed that well earned drink!!!
We've just spent a week binge watching from back on your tassie trip, up to this one. I don't know how you do it, but consistently putting out 25+ minute videos that are engaging from start to finish must be hard work! Nice work 👌
Having been on this recovery excursion you can only imagine what explorers such as Matthew Flinders experienced along this southern coastline but I think a bit more than a beer should be in order . Well done rescue party !!!!!!!!!
Absolutely! I often think about that. We also spoke on the recovery about how easily an indigenous australian would be able to track us through the bush 😂👍
Hi, l enjoyed the vid, especially seeing my little moho in some of the beach shots, even in the rearview mirror at the start of the recovery adventure! I paddleboarded in that area a few times, l love that it is and isnt an island.
Wowsers, that was an epic trip to recover the drone, probably harder than the tree but the tree looked more dangerous. That BLUETTI fridge and battery pack looks awesome, they really think outside the box with truely practical options for making travel gear so useful and wantable 😅I’m sure you enjoyed the celebration after your day. Hey say hi to Pete and Tania, we met them in Tassie and enjoyed a catch up at Gordon ☺️
Own a late model Bluetti and if your thinking they might be ok for camping or 4wd work.. use only it if have to... end of day a 12v system in the car or van is way to go..
Congratulations that was epic, what a trek! Don’t blame you Liz 😅 Loving the look of the Betty, I’m an ice girl so I’ll be very interested in the feedback. Speaking of feedback could you do one on the dishwasher. I don’t think I’ve missed anything so apologies if I have. I’m keen to hear the good & the bad, would love Titanium to start putting them in… thanks Alexandra King Island
I think the tree recovery was way more dangerous. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to get way up there to recover it and neither I think would many other people. Congrats on your dedication to getting it back. I’ll be giving you a call when I crash mine next.😊
The Bluetti fridge concept and the AC180T hot swappable Batteries is very interesting piece of kit ,will be good to see your real world Australian testing buy someone who has knowledge of portable fridges intimately lol have yourself a few spare batteries and you will double your System’s KWH capacity and versatility with out the weight deficit as you say . The money you saved on buying new drone was a mammoth task hahaha hope ya checked your selves out for Ticks afterwards 😳😳 top effort ouch scratchy scratchy pokey pokey
I suspect what would have helped would have been a mate with a boat lol I was pleased to see you put long pants and boots on for a change, no second chances with the snakes over there 😱 loved the new blueti stuff 🙂
Least your back up and flying Keep them coming Only just discovered you guys and thoroughly enjoy your content and the easy / simple way you both show us your travels Bloody love it Awesome van and cruiser Got me an 08 V8 Old but reliable

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks guys. It was quite the adventure.

Wow, thank you! That's really great to hear. It is a lot of work, but comments like this make it all worth it. Cheers mate.

Can't believe you got the drone back, that was amazing. Looking forward to camping there. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Thanks for watching! I wasn't confident to be honest, but stoked to have it back.
That was one adventure will never be forgotten , pleasure to help out guys 😎
Awesome video 🙌
Cheers guys!
Grew up in esperance, heading back soon from Vic to show my kids where dad grew up and all the local places😉
If your kids are like ours they'll love it 😂
The location looks terrific. So happy that you were able to retrieve your drone. The retrieval was an adventure in itself!
Thanks, Pete. Sometimes the adventure chooses us 😂

😂 Cheers, that's awesome.
Allan told us it was a mission to get to the drone and by jeez it surely looked like it was.
It sure was a mission, but worth it when your lucky enough to find it!

You're right, a lot longer, but less dangerous. We were so glad we found it!
Loved the drone recovery…great outcome!
Thanks 👍

We think they're great and so versatile. Being portable is a big pro for a lot of people as well
So happy that you got the drone back after that huge effort. So glad that Liz did not go!
Me too!
Well done!
Cheers

Thanks, Alexandra. The DW is great, we'll be sharing more about it in an upcoming video. Titanium now offer them from factory!
@@TheLifestylePioneers awesome as were with them next week, made my day!
Another great video, glad you found your drone 👍
Yes, thanks

Thanks mate. I might not be available 😂👍
My suggestion for the Bluetti setup you showed is to have a third battery
I agree, I think that would be great.

Thanks mate, agreed! We're looking forward to testing it out.
Common Simon, I can't believe you didn't put the crash footage at the end!
What a hike lol
I would've loved to but I wasn't even recording at the time!
@TheLifestylePioneers doooode !!!! That's funny as hell. Glad you found it though.
I suspect what would have helped would have been a mate with a boat lol I was pleased to see you put long pants and boots on for a change, no second chances with the snakes over there 😱 loved the new blueti stuff 🙂
That would've been super handy! Although the coastline where it crashed was pretty gnarly.
Oh well done
Thanks!
What's the name of the beach at the 5:30 mark? Is it Little Hellfire?
Sure is!
Well done to all involved in getting the drone back, can I ask how you lost it in the first place, what caused it to fall from the sky?
I was flying backward in sport mode (which means sensors are disabled) misjudged my altitude and flew into the vegetation
Epic recovery, well done ! Flying backwards?
Yep, in sport mode (no sensors)
How do you thing the Bluetti will handle corrugations, particularly with the removable battery? Could theybounce up and down inside the unit?
Pretty well I reckon. The batteries click in, I'll show it in the next video review
Good job U found it.
What sort of drone is it ?
Cheers. It's a DJI Air 3
So Simon
What happened to drone ?
Low battery /wind ?
Overly enthusiastic pilot 😂 Using sport mode to get to the other side of the bay quicker and forgot to turn it off again when I got there
Least your back up and flying
Keep them coming
Only just discovered you guys and thoroughly enjoy your content and the easy / simple way you both show us your travels
