Hi Roy, that´s a great lesson! I decided to learn the piece yesterday night and wondered how to play the beginning. You’ve covered my question for 300 % 👍. Thank you 😊.
Thankyou Roy for your excellent help, I'm going to start learning this piece of music hopefully one day ile be able to play all the seasons right through with no mistakes.
My teacher suggested this channel for me, and i think you play great! I use your videos (if you have the piece i may need) and you help me play better. Thanks!
I just subscribe to your channel like 2 weeks ago, and you post exactly the piece I need to work in, such a great coincidence. Nice tips and I'm already waiting for the next part. Good job and thank you.
It is always possible to progress and build your skills. I am 80 years old and I am still making progress. Someone once asked the great cellist Pablo Casals, "Maestro! You are 93 years old and you have done everything there is to do on the cello. Why do you still practice every day?" Casals replied, "I think I'm making progress!"
I'm 17 years old. I started playing the violin since I was 10 but I stopped playing three years ago. I really need bow exercises, my right arm is so clumsy now. What can I do? Can you tell me some bow exercises? I'd be very thankful.
@@roysonne Thankyou for replying to me My bowing has improved a lot after listening to your classes Which you would suggest me to learn after this Concerto in A Minor Should I go for Concerto in G minor or Rosemary Where will i get the score from
@@marinafrancis3398 Thanks in turn to you for your appreciative comment. I would suggest that you continue with something in a different style rather than another Vivaldi Concerto. Volume 2 of ¨Barbara Barber´s ¨Solos for Young Violinists would probably be at about the right level of difficulty. You can buy it at Amazon.com. Also I would want to do some etudes. Wohlfahrt volume 2 or Mazas volume 1 would be indicated. You can find them at imslp.org
@@roysonne Thankyou so much i will try to buy that book from amazon.com Did you say about the etudes of wolfhart I have been practising that i have reached no. 17 etude
Great job!!! I am playing this for middle school solo and ensemble festival next week. I've been mostly using bow stroke 3 and 4. Can go through out the piece without having to use bow stoke 2? Is it necessary?

THANKS FROM MOROCCO
Dear Roy Sonne I highly value your lessons on Vivaldi. Could you recommend some good accompaniment (piano) to the whole concert? Thanks in advance!
Search in TH-cam for vivaldi concerto in a minor accompaniment. There are at least ten different ones so you can choose the one that you like best.
muy buen sonido...awesome sound Sir

you are unique Mr Sonne !
How do i practice the fingers closer to the strings And those fast notes
It's a pleasure to see the naturalness with which you play. I'm 67 years old and I ask you is it still possible to learn to play like you do?

Open strings, long bows, scales. Ps. Just realized I’m 3 years late.
Thankyou for explaining in the most simplest form can you do concerto in b minor and cannon d too like this
Thanks, Marina. Those pieces are on the list, but it will probably be a while.

It's not necessary at all. However it can give more variety and color in combination with 3 and 4.
Roy Sonne okay, thank you! I'll keep that in mind at festival next week! :)

Hi Lourenco. For beginning vibrato instruction check out Professor V, here on TH-cam, or else Daniel Kurganov.
