i dont care what anyone thinks of gorgoroth. if you truly like metal and you listen to their albums properly theyre not only one of the best black metal bands out there but one of the best metal bands out there in general. their music is outstanding
@aidenhildebran9031 hell no they ain't. Antichrist and Incipit Satan were pretty good, but the 3 albums by Unlord kill the entire Gorgoroth discography. There's plenty of better stuff. Archgoat, Behexen, Armagedda, God Dethroned, Funeral Mist, etc
"My idea of art, and black metal especially, is the depiction of honesty without compromise. I really don't care how other people react to it or the feelings it might provoke." --Ghaal
Gaahl and King ARE the true Gorgoroth. Infernus was a talented artist at one time, but that time has long passed. I fully support what they are doing, and I eagerly await the upcoming album. Time will tell which "Gorgoroth" is worthy to hold the name; this will be decided by music, ideology, vision, and force of will, not simply being a founding member.
wow, hearing that hellhammer might be getting involved in another band make me wonder how he has the time to play for so many bands, i must admit that he is one hard working drummer
I don't understand why people who hate this music waste their time commenting about it. If you don't like it, look up something else. No one cares for your opinion if they truly love it, they will continue to be a part of it.
I have actually seen it and I was impressed by the movies production quality. The guy who made the movie is from victoria bc (the capital of the province I live in)
Thanks for pointing that out. Despite the fact that I'm pretty sure it was clear what I was getting at, it must feel nice to point out the short-comings of others, mustn't it?
king of hell stood next to me yesterday in sweden! Dimmu borgir played in stockholm. king played in a band with a clean singer i was like WTF! But i still got to see him it was awsome!
@planes3333 another thing i can say is that, people also pass through times when, lets say other things in life dont do anything for them and at the same time they probably have their own reasons why they,re pissed off, and using depictions of death blood and gore they probably fight their anger. for some , depictions of death , blood and gore, probably are a way of making them more stable in their own life, they realise they can handle themselves better probably
As much as I do have respect for Ghaal and King for being as like-minded, grounded and intellectually advanced black metal artists, they have NO FUCKING RIGHT to screw over Infernus - the founder of this band. Besides, Ghaal is Gorgoroth's 3rd vocalist and King is Gorgoroth's 6 or 7th bassist. Who the fuck do they think they are!?
I'll be the first to say that I really enjoy Disturbed. Just because people listen to stuff like this, doesn't mean Disturbed is too soft for them to listen to. Other than that, I whole-heartedly agree with what you are saying.
@planes3333 it might take me a lot to type giving an explanation, there are many things i could say. i recomend you a good , a freakin good Documentary about the metal music, its called " Metal a headbangers journey" and its really awesome, it includes one interview with Gaahl at the ending, and uh also says something about the black metals of norway. you might find a clear explanation there.
Scandinavians. I hear that a lot of them are pretty closed off until you really know them and get the booze flowing and the laughs going. Just realized your comment is 16 years old as I’m typing this. Hope you’re doing great in life man ✊
Altyazı çevirisinde ara sıra yanlışlıklar ile karşılaştım. Örneğin; "Cradle Of Filth" grubunu, "Cradle Of Health" olarak çevirmesi gibi. Aynı zamanda Türkiye'den selamlar🇹🇷..
He may have not worked so hard on the last two albums but Infernus did write the best albums Gorgoroth will ever release.. Classics.. You cant just kick out the only original member. It was Infernus's band.. King and Ghaal came way later...
2.) Infernus hasnt given us reason to belive in his abilites for over 7 years. Gaahl and king have kept the latest incarnation alive since then. And for those that say the earlier albums are the greater ones, the ones which which Infernus participated on...valid points for sure, but He was working with other musicians who helped create them as well. It would be ludicrous to suggest he was the sole creative mind behind Pentagram, Antichrist, and under the sign of Hell.
I didn't say "time will tell which 'Gorgoroth' will be legally entitled to hold the name," now did I? What do you mean, I 'have no material by which to judge?' With the possible exception of Twilight of the Idols, King's music is highly inspired. I'm simply stating a fact, and that is that King, for the better part of a decade, has held the creative seat for the music in the band. I'm certain that Infernus has chosen his own level of participation.
Gaalhs Ward absolutely NEEDS to release this unreleased material from this next gorgoroth album. The music ended up being on the Ov Hell album but the lyrics ended up being by sargarath so its like 9/10 as opposed to 10/10 lol
you can only pour out of you what has been poured in... a cup of water can only pour out water.. whoever spreads fear, only knows fear himself. gaahl is terrified.
Thats right! back in 1998, and agein recently last year. Gaahl, Infernus and King stated in interviews that they like Cradle's music. As you know, Gaahl recently came out Gay, and Dani Filth was one of the first people in the Metal scene to say he supports him for it, because there are sadly so many narrow minded Metalheads who will ditch Gorgoroth cause of it. And early this year, Gaahl and Dani did an interview together and stated they have become really good friends.
Interesting that Nick Barker is now in the band yet Hellhammer might come in, seems the same debate over Barker/Hammer with Dimmu might tred into Gorgoroth.
Gorgoroth maintains its true essence with gaahl and King I think, the last record was in all of Kings direction, he took full control, and sounds very impressive, although the new line up with infernus sounds wicked, obituary bassist and dissection drummer? so I hear..

@Destruction555666 dude thats a really good observation I have seen paintings of his likeness depicting Jesus, With that said I have a question. I can understand in Satanismn people wanting to be their own god, I tried myself and failed so I have a god I follow (a sheep). But why do so many satanists have depictions of death or blood and gore ?? is it shock value?
@planes3333 uh yeah probably, through the lyrics they do it because uhh, for example Slayer, their lyrics directyl attacked christianity and were full of death blood and gore. As a metalhead listenst to it, its like, he releases its negative energy. Lets say that these depictions also match the rythm of their music you know, when they play the music they think of it, and for me its nothing that horrible because, its a way people release their anger without harming anyone.
hell yeah. that was kind of the mentality with the inception of megadeth. the same principle applies. whether or not the new project is 'heavier' than gorgoroth is not the issue. at the very least we would have another great norweigan metal band.
i dont care what anyone thinks of gorgoroth. if you truly like metal and you listen to their albums properly theyre not only one of the best black metal bands out there but one of the best metal bands out there in general. their music is outstanding
and king and gaahl are epic but infernus is gorgoroth no matter what. i love the entire discography and i cand wait to hear the new album.
KUPHSER agree
Hell yea
@aidenhildebran9031 hell no they ain't. Antichrist and Incipit Satan were pretty good, but the 3 albums by Unlord kill the entire Gorgoroth discography. There's plenty of better stuff. Archgoat, Behexen, Armagedda, God Dethroned, Funeral Mist, etc
@aidenhildebran9031 “one of the best” yes i do.
Who owns the name "Gorgoroth"? The estate of J.R.R. Tolkien I would say! It's the name of two areas in Belariand and Mordor in Middle Earth.
+SvenTviking infernus
King is intimidating but really sexy at the same time
8:06 first time I've ever seen King smile
Красивая улыбка.
FUCK OFF!
Smiling is for posers
i love gaahl's voice :)
I don't care how scary Gaahl is I'm still giving him a big hug when I see him
is there a black metal band that Hellhammer HASN'T drummed for?! He is the 'go to' guy, I think. Definitely one of the best metal drummers ever!
"My idea of art, and black metal especially, is the depiction of honesty without compromise. I really don't care how other people react to it or the feelings it might provoke."

Infernus still sears are your a fool for thinking otherwise
wow, hearing that hellhammer might be getting involved in another band make me wonder how he has the time to play for so many bands, i must admit that he is one hard working drummer
It's amazing how quiet and thoughtful they are.
Two scary dudes..I love it!
You scared of Queen?
infernus IS Gorgoroth
They were lost with words but they still rule black metal with or without Infernus.
thanx for this upload
I don't understand why people who hate this music waste their time commenting about it. If you don't like it, look up something else. No one cares for your opinion if they truly love it, they will continue to be a part of it.
Thank you very much.
Watching this interview reminds me of Metalocalypse.
King looks a bit scared to look at the interviewer...
What for ?????
Maybe hes like Gaahl. Know what I mean?
Thank you paut23 for adding your wonderful words of wisdom to the discussion
That's not gorgoroth, Gorgoroth is Infernus
Ahhhhhh Gorgoroth... how I love you. It really is a shame that Gaahl left, the band won't be the same without him.
Haven't seen Rene Ackermann since the days of Rockworld tv. What's she up to these days?
This does make a lot of sense. Interesting information there! Thanks! =)
@senseitre The song is called Carving a Giant. The song and music video are fucking amazing. The album is called Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam. ENJOY!
pushing it concerning artist expression is a sign of artist genius and godlike strenght.
"Work it properly"
Translation: "Re-record all of Infernus' parts."
This has to be THE most hardcore metal band ever.
I met him some months ago when god seed were playing Aarhus in Denmark. He was actually very nice and polite.
I want to meet Gaahl.
I have actually seen it and I was impressed by the movies production quality. The guy who made the movie is from victoria bc (the capital of the province I live in)
this is no Gorgoroth interview.
Thanks for pointing that out. Despite the fact that I'm pretty sure it was clear what I was getting at, it must feel nice to point out the short-comings of others, mustn't it?
thank u kind sir :)
Esse vídeo ficou muito foda! Eles dando entrevista com sua música tocando
I love Gorgoroth
you are right mi friend
wise words!!!

They toured with Cradle in 2008 too

ive not acctually seen it but i heard that was true
Gorgoroth kicks ass.Long live Stan
KING looks like Peter Steele's kid brother all quiet and taking his que from Gaahl like "is it ok to say this or that or what all nervous and such.
i still respcet him , he's good guy
9:18 till 9:27 is great, king wants to tell more about the next extreme show and gaahl quite orders to not say more
Gaalhs Ward absolutely NEEDS to release this unreleased material from this next gorgoroth album. The music ended up being on the Ov Hell album but the lyrics ended up being by sargarath so its like 9/10 as opposed to 10/10 lol
Can't remember the author but it was called "Beautiful City of the Dead". Look for it

you can only pour out of you what has been poured in... a cup of water can only pour out water..
whoever spreads fear, only knows fear himself. gaahl is terrified.
GORGOROTH!!!!!!!!
Yeah

"Infernus said is was a split-up, instead of a kick out" hahahah
Hellhammer's not in, is he? I thought Frost is doing the drums again.

perfect ^_^
@PeRogiTra They are shy people, actually, it`s ironic, but i think they`d be very shy if you saw them on the street and just yelled directly at them.
estos carnales tocan poca madre
\\m// I salute these guys \\m//

Gorgoroth still lives like the old bands..
Respect motherfuckers..
its between nick barker and hellhammer its a session thing

Real Fucking Metal.
