Kelly, I watch lots of animal rescue videos on here (from Animal Aid India, Viktor Larkhill (in Spain), Takis Shelter (in Greece), The Orphan Pet (in Greece), Hope For Paws (in California), etc) and SO many people comment, ask questions, criticize the rescues, etc, and it's glaringly obvious that they haven't bothered to fully watch, listen to and / or read the subtitles to the videos. Those people must just be incredibly lazy and far too quick to judge without knowing facts.

I’m very glad Quint kept her. His kindness and affection towards her was touching to see. Being a senior dog, her chances of getting adopted would not have been good at a shelter. We are such a throw away society and unfortunately, many animals suffer because of it.

Lol 😂 yup I agree. I have seven to nine cats, depending on who is out roaming at any given time. And I have had dogs for 25 years, several of them rescue babies.

If you're not going to take care of an animal and love it and don't get one I'm so sick of people that get pets and puppies and kittens cuz it's so cute and after a while the newness wears off and they just let him go if I ever saw a person abusing an animal I swear to God I beat the s*** out of them

This made me tear up! 😢 I’ve had a yorkie for 12 years, and they way Quint treated this beautiful dog was sooo sweet. You guys are so amazing she looked so happy in the 2 month update. Awww thank you guys for sharing this wonderful video 💕💕💕
I think Quint had found her owner as soon as he found her lol. A dog just like this showed up at my house last summer. I live way out in the country surrounded by 250 acres. Someone had to purposely drop that baby off. Dumpy/Piglet found the right people. How did we get so lucky to deserve the wonderful creatures in our lives.

@@shaneluke346 did you watch the entire video? If so, you would know we took her to the vet ASAP, which stands for as soon as possible. We got her the first appointment on Monday. She was NOT in need of an ER visit. We confirmed this via multiple phone conversations with veterinarians- even though we were far from home.
I rescued a dog just like that.. out on the streets for years. 2 broken legs, eye surgery, hernia, except he was skin & bones & very sick! He is healthy & robust now! Best loving and grateful dog ever!!! So glad she found a great home! Your family is the best 🐶

Omg I just love this story. Most people would not have done what you did. This young man was raised right. Princess Dumpy is so happy now and looks amazing. A lot of people do not realize how senior dogs can be a blessing. Eventually when my dogs pass on I will adopt seniors or dogs that no one wants and give them a loving home. Thank you again!

Seniors are some of THE best animals to adopt yet are often THE most at need of rescue / adoption from shelters. goulash64, we found her at 2am on Saturday morning. She didn't belong to us. We got her clean, warm, and did an initial assessment to make sure she wasn't bleeding, bitten, or in respiratory distress. I trimmed her nails and offered her food, water, and place to sleep unitl I could look for her owners in the morning. I also called our vet first thing and it was determined she did not qualify for ER treatment and we weren't about to take her to the pound. We had to wait until Monday for their first available appointment. She also can't get grooming until receiving all her shots. There is a logical sequence to all of this. We did everything as quickly as we could. I hope you watched the entire video and made this comment before concluding. Otherwise, I can't understand why you made this comment. Thank you for showing this senior dog such pure love. I lost my poodle last year. He died at 17,5 years old in my arms, almost blind and almost deaf and full of love. The best dog is a senior dog ❤️
Lucky dog. Someone did dump her. Just beause a dog gets old and blind. They love us unconditionally and then that's their reward. Well this little lady got lucky. Quint, you are to be commended. She is tail up and is oh so happy to be alive and with you.
God rewarded Quint with a gift from him. Animals love us unconditional & their souls are connected directly from god to us as gifts of love. She was always meant to be Quints little Dumplin & Quint was meant to be there at that moment in time to find each other. Animals always know whos good or bad & she knew from the start Quint was gonna look after her for her remaining time left. A test from god that he has past as well a new bestfriend. He looks proud with her & she really loves him. Your family & your boys are wonderful. Its nice to see Quint in the spotlight as well as our Cole. Quints heart is presious as Dumplin. Shes the gift that keeps on giving & will bring him much abunance yet to come. Please keep us all updated on her.
It's a blessing that she was found by ya'll. Whoever had her before neglected her for sure. I rescued a similar, neglected dog and it gave her health issues, but a good vet and some meds did help. I think she is def a senior, I adore old dogs !! No less love. Thanks for becoming her humans !

That's because he had just become Dumpy's new daddy. I think from the moment he found Dumpy and took her in to bathe, de-gunk her eyes, etc, she became his furry daughter! 💓

so awesome bless your angel heart ~ I just rescued one female dog that was a westie she was neglected, stray had pneumonia that gave her a complicated hernia and needed eye surgery. I saved my money and worked deals with the vets, groomed her and gave here 24/7 care when she was ill. She looks so much different. Now she is all heeled and is my best friend. It is unconditional love you received back. Its like she knows I saved her life. I tell her Jesus did. He just made it where he gave me the money to do it and she was healed.

@@wonderwoman6232 ok well I DID watch the dam video all the way to the end.So he found dog around 2:00 am in middle of the night,he put her in the sink inside the WASH ROOM he was trying to get all the eye gunk out of her eyes, so she could see, he cleaned her up some she was very nasty and dirty and matted,she was eating and drinking water wasnt in any distressed,no need to try to take her to the vet that late at night.He found her in his yarf i think was under the porch or steps cant remember rhat ,but she wasnt out in the road hurt and needed immediate attention by a vetanaian.So he wasnt hurting her waiting.He then took her to the vet which she weighed A lil over 13LBS,SHE WASN'T BLIND,BUT COULDN'T SEE VERY WELL,SHE WASNT PREG JUST FAT AND OVER WEIGHT.BLOOD WORK WAS GREAT..So after the vet gave her a Clean BILL OF HEALTH,hebrhen took her to get groomed.and she was so cute afterwards wagginging her tail ams running.is there anything else u need to know?So fir future references dont smart off and be rude at anyone, you dont know what they were paying attention too and you dont know them.Have a great day!Oh yeah and she is old!!!!!!!

Only saw what you wanted to see evidently. Just watched it again. A whole day and night went by before they took her to the vet. The first thing they should have done was cut her nails! Not let her keep walking around in pain. Notice her happy face? That was after her very visit and nail cutting. Notice her running? That's because she isn't in pain with every step. @@wendypeeters3675 What happened that was so urgent she needed to go after hours?(video stopped halfway through and can't get it to play again so I missed some stuff.) The toenail was bad but that can be dealt with at home. As long as she's wasn't having major issues they could have waited a day. Found a 5-6wk old kitten who's eye was popped out of socket somehow, i took her immediately. As long as there was no constant puking, shitting, lethargic, limping, broken bones, not acting like a dog and running around or showing other signs something isn't right there was no need to spend that much when they could wait a day(here after hours and emergency vets cost a lot more than the non emergency ones.)
@@wendypeeters3675 Dumpy wasn't in need of urgent medical treatment. She hadn't been hit by a car, attacked by another dog or another animal, etc, and they found her in the early hours of the morning. Presumably, you also think it would be essential for someone to go to the Accident & Emergency section of a hospital if they have a headache, a cold, etc. There's a time and a place for emergency treatment when it's necessary but Dumpy wasn't on death's doorstep!
Thank you for sharing. I was sobbing. You see I had to say good bye to my 17 year old blind, selective hearing senior citizen. Your Princess Dumpy brought back so many memories. You did a fantastic thing by rescuing her. She's adorable and quite apparently loves you.

My Grandmother found a dog in a dumpster, she cleaned him up, got his shots, and loved him for the rest of his life. His name was Dumpster.

@@shaneluke346 did you watch the entire video? If so, you would know we took her to the vet ASAP, which stands for as soon as possible. We got her the first appointment on Monday. She was NOT in need of an ER visit. We confirmed this via multiple phone conversations with veterinarians- even though we were far from home.
I rescued a dog just like that.. out on the streets for years. 2 broken legs, eye surgery, hernia, except he was skin & bones & very sick! He is healthy & robust now! Best loving and grateful dog ever!!! So glad she found a great home! Your family is the best 🐶

Omg I just love this story. Most people would not have done what you did. This young man was raised right. Princess Dumpy is so happy now and looks amazing. A lot of people do not realize how senior dogs can be a blessing. Eventually when my dogs pass on I will adopt seniors or dogs that no one wants and give them a loving home. Thank you again!

sweet video- people pass by older dogs in shelters too many times, but a lot of them are already housebroken and trained and dont need a lot of long walks like younger dogs do. and especially for neglected older dogs, they really need some love, and im glad princess D found it

Kelson L: So true. So many people are shallow and overlook anything that isn't new, pretty or perfect in every way. Shame on them for that shallowness and stupidity. Seniors are some of THE best animals to adopt yet are often THE most at need of rescue / adoption from shelters. I would urge every kind, caring person who is interested in adopting an animal from a shelter to give a home to a senior!

Oh my heart is so full! I can't say it enough that you all have such beautiful hearts. You know there are so many people that have found dogs but when they find out the dog is older they just take them to a shelter....but not your Quint and that shows just how kind and loving he is. IKR? I was kinda screaming to myself "VET VET VET GET HER TO THE VET !!!!" and then they did and I knew these were some really great people.
goulash64, we found her at 2am on Saturday morning. She didn't belong to us. We got her clean, warm, and did an initial assessment to make sure she wasn't bleeding, bitten, or in respiratory distress. I trimmed her nails and offered her food, water, and place to sleep unitl I could look for her owners in the morning. I also called our vet first thing and it was determined she did not qualify for ER treatment and we weren't about to take her to the pound. We had to wait until Monday for their first available appointment. She also can't get grooming until receiving all her shots. There is a logical sequence to all of this. We did everything as quickly as we could. I hope you watched the entire video and made this comment before concluding. Otherwise, I can't understand why you made this comment. God rewarded Quint with a gift from him. Animals love us unconditional & their souls are connected directly from god to us as gifts of love. She was always meant to be Quints little Dumplin & Quint was meant to be there at that moment in time to find each other. Animals always know whos good or bad & she knew from the start Quint was gonna look after her for her remaining time left. A test from god that he has past as well a new bestfriend. He looks proud with her & she really loves him. Your family & your boys are wonderful. Its nice to see Quint in the spotlight as well as our Cole. Quints heart is presious as Dumplin. Shes the gift that keeps on giving & will bring him much abunance yet to come.

It's a blessing that she was found by ya'll. Whoever had her before neglected her for sure. I rescued a similar, neglected dog and it gave her health issues, but a good vet and some meds did help. I think she is def a senior, I adore old dogs !! No less love. Thanks for becoming her humans !

so awesome bless your angel heart ~ I just rescued one female dog that was a westie she was neglected, stray had pneumonia that gave her a complicated hernia and needed eye surgery. I saved my money and worked deals with the vets, groomed her and gave here 24/7 care when she was ill. She looks so much different. Now she is all heeled and is my best friend. It is unconditional love you received back. Its like she knows I saved her life. I tell her Jesus did. He just made it where he gave me the money to do it and she was healed.

It sure is expensive to care for animals and not everyone is in the financial position to do so. @@wonderwoman6232 ok well I DID watch the dam video all the way to the end.So he found dog around 2:00 am in middle of the night,he put her in the sink inside the WASH ROOM he was trying to get all the eye gunk out of her eyes, so she could see, he cleaned her up some she was very nasty and dirty and matted,she was eating and drinking water wasnt in any distressed,no need to try to take her to the vet that late at night.He found her in his yarf i think was under the porch or steps cant remember rhat ,but she wasnt out in the road hurt and needed immediate attention by a vetanaian.So he wasnt hurting her waiting.He then took her to the vet which she weighed A lil over 13LBS,SHE WASN'T BLIND,BUT COULDN'T SEE VERY WELL,SHE WASNT PREG JUST FAT AND OVER WEIGHT.BLOOD WORK WAS GREAT..So after the vet gave her a Clean BILL OF HEALTH,hebrhen took her to get groomed.and she was so cute afterwards wagginging her tail ams running.is there anything else u need to know?So fir future references dont smart off and be rude at anyone, you dont know what they were paying attention too and you dont know them.Have a great day!Oh yeah and she is old!!!!!!!

Only saw what you wanted to see evidently. Just watched it again. A whole day and night went by before they took her to the vet. The first thing they should have done was cut her nails! Not let her keep walking around in pain. Notice her happy face? That was after her very visit and nail cutting. Notice her running? That's because she isn't in pain with every step. Maybe you need to watch it again.

@@wendypeeters3675 What happened that was so urgent she needed to go after hours?(video stopped halfway through and can't get it to play again so I missed some stuff.) The toenail was bad but that can be dealt with at home. As long as she's wasn't having major issues they could have waited a day. Found a 5-6wk old kitten who's eye was popped out of socket somehow, i took her immediately. As long as there was no constant puking, shitting, lethargic, limping, broken bones, not acting like a dog and running around or showing other signs something isn't right there was no need to spend that much when they could wait a day(here after hours and emergency vets cost a lot more than the non emergency ones.)
@@wendypeeters3675 Dumpy wasn't in need of urgent medical treatment. She hadn't been hit by a car, attacked by another dog or another animal, etc, and they found her in the early hours of the morning. Presumably, you also think it would be essential for someone to go to the Accident & Emergency section of a hospital if they have a headache, a cold, etc. There's a time and a place for emergency treatment when it's necessary but Dumpy wasn't on death's doorstep!
