He had a great time. We are going back the end of January and this time we will go to a relative's ranch, Gallagher Ranch, near San Antonio. Quint will fly there with friends and Clem and I will drive with Kenai. Meeting my dad and Lura there, too. Should be a fun reunion.

My parents live in Texas & we went down & gave them Covid for the 3rd time :-(. I was looking at your dad & it made me cry because I hate seeing my parents getting old. My parents (80+) are over the Covid & doing fine except for the normal ailments they had.
Kenia loves running those pastures but those horses don’t pay much attention to his herding skills lol. I’m so glad u got to visit your dad and his wife again . I wish we could all live that healthy and happy . The simple life is the best life . Thanks for the post !❤️
No, the horses don't pay much mind to Kenai but they do keep a wary eye on him. They like to boss him and he would rather boss them...at least he would like to coax them into a running contest.
I think Molly is beautiful, too! Great markings and coloring. She is very sweet and talkative. She has assimilated to the herd, so that is comforting. Kenai loves the ranch. We are taking him to Gallagher Ranch the end of January. That will be another great adventure.

I rally enjoy the horses. Watching them is so calming, tranquil. They're so beautiful. Then sometimes you can see their personalities. Molly is gorgeous. Is she what is called painted?
They calm me, too! Molly is gorgeous. I do believe she is a paint though my dad was not provided any paperwork when he adopted her. Hopefully, that will be provided and we can learn more about her.
Started laughing when I saw Dad on the Mantle. Molly seems to be settling in just fine & she’s the most beautiful horse there. Molly getting along with your dog. The dog was really getting along with the horses. Most relaxing video I’ve seen in a while.
Forgot to say that I really do like these videos with your dad and Lura 😊 This one, and following the shoulder surgery, I don't know how many times I've watched that "series" if one can call it that. Thank you! Yeah...about the mantle. My dad is strong...no issue there. His issue is extreme balance problems that attack often and unexpectedly. He can fall over when standing still. This feat had my heart racing. Yes...Chicken was the bomb, as was the sausage. Everything was yummy!

Thank you! Yeah...about the mantle. My dad is strong...no issue there. His issue is extreme balance problems that attack often and unexpectedly. He can fall over when standing still. This feat had my heart racing. Yes...Chicken was the bomb, as was the sausage. Everything was yummy!

Wow! Finland. That's so cool. Kenai is not named for the boy/bear. I named him Kenai from the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. I lived in Alaska for 4 years.
