NC, normally closed, is the better option for everything CNC. After swapping the cable connection, just click invert check box under the relevant input you are using in the software. For the simple reason that it is fault-tolerant, break a cable, got a bad connection to your switch etc and the trigger condition will be set meaning you don't crash your machine driving your torch into the table, same goes for all axis end stops.

Would love to see some close up video of the linear movement and such. I like how the rack and pinion was tacked for the Y-axis, I didn't think about that, that would solve my procrastination. Where did you source the rack and pinion? I'm assuming X is driven the same?

hi i cant get mine to arc atomically when i hit play i have to hit the space bar everytime the cnc starts to come down to get it to cut ,,, what do u think the problem would be thanks
