I’ve owned a plethora of action figures in my collecting term, and none and I mean none, not even a super7 figure has been this bad, break after break and break, do not buy these, avoid at all costs plz save your money.

@@KitbashCustoms they were good figures, comparable to G.I.Joe. Lots of unique sculpts, well articulated, and came with multiple accessories. I think the reason the line died is not because of quality but because of shit character choice.
They kept doing shit like old Battle Pass skins. You literally can't get Mancake, Skye, Aerial Assault Trooper etc anymore so no one who plays now is gonna wanna get them.
Whoa, that's wild. I bought one for real cheap a while ago and mine came apart in the right way. No snapping or breaking.
I got it to just be a fantasy background character though. Very much not a stand alone figure. Background or even body parts for animals or gore set pieces is about where this is at.
Man thats sucks, its a bad day whenever a figure breaks. I got this figure on clearance for about $5 as well, didnt have many issues with it, the character design isnt too interesting and the articulation is pretty limited in the arms, but otherwise its alright. That does suck about your copy though, just consider it some good fodder for $5!
I’ve got two of that figure, no issues whatsoever. I always take care and heat figures when first moving their joints. I’ve also swapped heads, no breakage.

I think I paid $7 for mine and I had no issues at all other than the waist piece hindering leg articulation.
This whole D&D line of figures was garbage, even the animated series ones are notorious for breaking right out of the box. This seems to be happening more frequently with Hasbro.
Quality going way down these days
I always heat them up before even attempting to bend any joints. Not excusing the company, just facing reality and dealing with it.

Yeah I had the same idea to fodder this line out seeing them for $5 it's hard not to try, but I got as far as the wizard kid from the movie line and stopped there, washed my hands of that filth lol

I bought a few of these on sale last month for kitbashing and custom purposes. I haven't got around to dismantling them yet but I can say out of the box they're horribly stiff at the joints. I was also pretty disappointed to find that the plastic used for the removable coat accessories seems to be a lot harder and less flexible than their Marvel legend counterparts.
How do the limbs look in regard to using them as parts for marvel legends customs? Do they fit without modification or does it look like you'd have to modify them to get them to fit properly? I don't overly mind modifying them myself it'd just be helpful to know how much work i'm setting myself up for before i dismantle them. Thanks dude.
Also what is the Ball joint saying for the head? Does it seem to be roughly the same size as a marvel legends ball joint or is it a job for a dremmel/hot glue?
@@jeph_os it sure if you noticed but the ball is stuck in the neck, and I threw this figure in the trash. After it breaking it wasn’t worth the time for me to even keep it

Honestly tho. I consider them statutes at this point. I got some of the others and just went “nope, you’re not moving ever again”
These figures were made way before the movie released that's why is had shit articulation
Sounds dumb but could it be cause it's brown plastic? Lego brown pieces were infamous for being fragile and breaking easily. Prolly not that but j thought it was interesting
not a dumb idea, as someone who is into model kits, I've had lots of different kits that come in plain grey and coloured variants, and they are invariably more brittle when dye is introduced to the plastic
Yeah these DND figures are garbage. Idk about the Drizzt figure... That's TBD.
