    OMG thank you. I know how to hook it up under the sink and actually have the expensive attachments to do so. This is sooooooooo much easier. I hope a lot of people see this video and save themselves the massive stress. Yes it's easy to put it under the sink but it is also expensive and not for those who don't like to work under the sink. This is easier and cheaper.

    I used a male to male adaptor 3/4 to 1/2 and connected to my water supply. Just disconnect the faucet and screw in 1/2 " end of adaptor then connect 3/4" end to washing machine and turn on. No messing with cutting hoses. Works great. When you're done just unscrew adaptor from sink and re_ attach faucet.

    • @crediblemike7266
      @crediblemike7266  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. It is a tight fit, so what you'll have to do is to heat the hose over a gas stove or with a heat gun to soften it, then force on the quick release. You might need to do this several times until it fits ok.

    How to set the desired temperature of water? Would I still have to use the cold setting on my washer?

    • @crediblemike7266
      @crediblemike7266  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching. I have no way of determining a desired temperature without a gauge so I have 'guesstimate' by adjusting the tap by either doing a cold wash, intermediate (somewhere in the middle) or doing a hot wash. Ultimately you will decide what temperature is ideal depending on the recommendations of the clothes manufacturers for certain specific fabrics.

      @crediblemike7266 thank you for that info, yet I believe you misunderstood. My washer has 2 Hoes ports Hot/Cold... If I hook up my kitchen sink as you did in the video, would I have to place the sink handle in the middle (warm), and then use the cold setting on the washer, but get actual warm water? Or select the Hot setting on my washer?

      @@diagrier9963 Stainless Steel Washing Machine Y Mixer Hose by Kelaro - 3/4" - Blend or Split Hot and Cold water a.co/d/7nAIcPl. . The easiest way to deal with this is to use a Y mixer hose like this along with a regular washing machine hose. The hot and cold holes at the back were designed for the older system when the hot water and cold water were separate. With these new faucets having the ability to distribute both hot and cold water, the easiest way to address the issues is as stated above. If not just choose either the hot or cold pipe at the back of the machine and block off the next pipe not being used

    • @crediblemike7266
      @crediblemike7266  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@diagrier9963 In other words. If you connect the hose to the cold pipe. You'll need to physically block off the hot connection otherwise the water is going to flow out through it an vice versa. So I recommend using the Y hose to connect to both. Then if you want to do a cold wash, turn the faucet to cold, cold water will flow through both of the hose into the machine. If you want to do a warm wash put it into the middle and if you want to do a hot wash then turn it to the extreme right. Whatever temperature you want put the faucet in that position and the water that enters the washing machine through hot and cold connectors will be the temperature that you selected using the faucet. I hope that this helps

    So it's possible for me to have my washer in my kitchen ? I don't have the hook up in my kitchen What if I don't have a sink like that ?

    • @crediblemike7266
      @crediblemike7266  ปีที่แล้ว

      First I want to thank you for watching the video. Regarding your question...provided that there is enough space available it will be possible for you to have your washer installed in the kitchen. If the location for the washer is not situated close enough to the sink then you will need to purchase an extension outlet hose that will be adequate enough to reach the sink. If you have a regular water tap that is threaded, the quick release will work perfectly. If you have a threaded pipe but it's not close to the washer then using a hose along with the quick release will work just fine. I will be doing a video that will demonstrate how you can connect your washer to a regular pipe.
