    Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I have vacuumed my apartment balcony for 8.5 years. This year I decided to buy a faucet adapter for my kitchen sink to attach a garden hose and spray the walls and other things. I thought about even renting a small pressure washer so that I could be more thorough. Before heading to the hardware store this morning, I thought I would Google a basic "how-to" and found your video. Loved it!!! You are so cool and it was very helpful!!!

    You are my hero, So much courage, I don’t have, meaning I am afraid to do it as I am afraid management will site me for using a faucet in the balcony patio. Anyway my patio balcony is on a heavy traffic street and dust is unbelievable. I don’t have neighbors below but the gym, and water May leak on the window and be noticeable, unfortunately rainy season ends so it may have to wait another year, or maybe during the weekend when management is off, but I’ll have my hose ready then, I wonder if an RV and Marine Lightweight, Ultra Flexible Hosea works, I hate to have a bulky hose in the apartment I’ll shop around, thank you for you video. I’ll hope I don’t get in trouble wish me luck thanks again.

    • @GadgetsGearCoffee
      @GadgetsGearCoffee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I explained that I vaccumed otherwise it would just become mud and that's worse to wash out. I had a thick layer of dust, made the process faster and cleaner.
      And for the rain, I feel like that was explained too, to not disturb neighbors

    • @eddieedwards1238
      @eddieedwards1238 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GadgetsGearCoffee I had a feeling of what you were doing was coming from a place of "over politeness" to neighbors lol but honestly you washing your balcony off every 3 or 4 weeks should not be a problem...also as for the dirt issue if you just pressure wash the area it would clean the dirt faster it would not get mud slide muddy just a lil murky water im saying this because i have pressure washed car garages with years of piled up dirt n gunk and its just less hassle plus cleaning the gunk out of the dry vac is troublesome...these are my opinions not a argument and thanks for showing me that sink adapter

    • @GadgetsGearCoffee
      @GadgetsGearCoffee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@eddieedwards1238 it actually is, she's complained once even though I was doing it in the intense rain but she was outside on her balcony (she's definitely not easy to deal with and has broken many rules herself lol). It makes sense though, it's bothersome to downstairs neighbours. I created some sort of hack to gather the water onto one side, though I wasn't able to get it to drip down the side inconspicuously VS just dripped down in 1 corner, but what I did is already better. Trust me, I wish it wasn't an issue but it is even though I took all preventative measures. Sometimes you just get unlucky with your neighbours.

    • @ronj9448
      @ronj9448 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a plumber, but I doubt it, that's what the pressure washer is for, to create pressure with a motor. I am pretty sure you aren't getting more water out of the faucet than it can give normally.

      Never. Pressure washers take water provided and force it out faster in a much small stream. You only need to make sure you're providing enough water to the pressure washer. To determine this, if pressure washer says it uses 1.0 GPM "gallon of water per minute" then all you need to do is grab a 1 Gallon jug and a stopwatch and fill it with the hose watching the stopwatch. You'll need to fill that jug within

    Dilute some outdoor cleaner, a pump sprayer and a stiff brush and rinse off. No need pressure washer.

      Mine leaked a little by the attachment but the water just falls into the sink and it's so mild and doesn't affect pressure so I don't really fret
