These inane filler comments to pad out the runtime are killing the. “The park was also home to wildlife …” such as animals and birds. WOW! Who would think it. Animals AND birds?!!!
So I'm never sure if AI is used with this unnamed voice over or in the selections of clips. But saying Richard moved to Florida and showing a static clip of air Canada doesn't make sense. I also note that many clips are not from the person being spoken about , there is a huge change in terrain , topography, and even seasons. The voice is used in numerous videos, in this one only once the voice said "I" as in first person. Though the narration seems to know what the topic person is thinking. The could be an AI voice over.
I'm not sure and I don't really care, but I'm guessing maybe your a retired English teacher? Bored to death and in desperate need of a hobby!! I haven't scrolled down very far in the comments, but you've posted 4 paragraph-sized comments whining about correct grammar, the narrator, and my favorite, the 'moving to Florida' one so let's talk through that one. 'Richard' moved to Florida so one would assume he packed up, sent the movers on their way, and then he boarded an 'Air Canada' flight to travel to Florida, possibly to arrive ahead of the movers to prepare. Why does this confuse you? He's a Canadian from Quebec City and he shouldn't have used 'Air Canada' to make the trip? I'm not sure what you don't understand? Maybe he should have taken a different airline? The narrator said, 'Richard moved to Florida,' and then showed a picture of an 'Air Canada' plane, implying he left in a plane. You might want to consider getting a hobby, maybe a dog, maybe BASE jumping? Maybe four posts picking apart every single word uttered by the narrator is a tad excessive, eh? It's not hard to imagine what the 'topic' person would be thinking if his parachute didn't open. As far as videos that are not about the specific 'topic' person is because his family is already suffering enough and probably doesn't want the video to be all over social media with assholes like you nitpicking a very personal situation. Just saying.......
I've done exactly 3000 skydives. I had 5 malfunctions and had to deploy my reserve chute for those 3000 jumps. Skydiving was great fun. But it was dangerous fun. During my 10 years as a skydiver and instructor there were about 10 deaths or serious injuries att the drop zones where I was. That was 10 terrible incidents out of hundreds of thousands of skydives. But I never got the bug to do any kind of BASE jumping. I could do 5 - 7 skydives a day with a minute plus free-fall. But with a BASE jump it seemed to take all day for just one jump. Of course a long wing suit BASE jump in the mountains is a wonderful experience to have. However, plain good old skydiving from aircrafts was good enough excitement for me.
I am surprised there was no mention of Jeb Corliss, since they used a lot of his "Grinding the Crack" footage in Switzerland and especially since he was one of the few to have crashed and lived to tell about it... 2012 jumping Table Mountain in South Africa!
Or they packed their shoot wrong. In the military they used check list and you have someone watching your every move to ensure do each fold, cord line ect correctly. Then you have supervisior who is watching 3 or 4 crews ensuring everyone goes by the book. The final exam for parachute riggers is to pack your own shoot and jump. In the Army they're big about you not telling other people to do something you did not experience your self.
A direct quote is contradictory in this story setting "Imagine letting go in the air, carrying the scent of snow in yours nose and the distant roar of a glacier in your ear.* A human cannot free climb a rock face in the winter time so no scent of snow is ever possible. Free fall no matter where the only sound you will hear is the air rushibg by you. Glaciers do not roar unless there is a waterfall , free coimbing is on rock bit ice abs the season is summer time.
Also in this video the narrator proposed the all extreme sports enthusiasts " may " follow a motto "we all die sometime" yes the narrator has admitted he is a wing suit flyer. Therefore the motto should have been said in first person reference but was in third person removed . More proof that this is an AI voice over and a majority of videos are AI sources, edited, and voiced over. Documentaries usually identify the narrator.
@Heathcoatman Right? One might assume he has a lot of time on his hands to be critiquing every statement the narrator say or he's jealous that he didn't think of creating this show first or who knows, but he's posted 4 paragraph or longer whining sessions about his confusion about a man who moved to Florida from Canada (quite a distance) but he doesn't understand why someone might fly on a Canadian airplane to Florida🙄? Really?? He needs to find some other hobby, get a dog, go to therapy, some other thing instead of whining about this channel!
I did my stint of parachuting in the army, and I'd like to ask what kind of failures afect the parachutes of the base jumpers.I understand that calculating your flight path is tough and that you may crash, but there seem to be many incidents where the chute doesn't deploy...Any insights.May they all rest in peace and my condolences to their beloved ones...
At the beginning it looked like a piece of footage of the lady packing her own chute. She wasn’t paying much attention to the chute and was looking at the camera. Maybe this was temporary and she was stuffing it in to transport, and a careful pack would be done later, who knows? I suspect people are (a) not taking safety seriously, being meticulous about their safety equipment in terms of storage, age, number & time of jumps, then carefully checking every line, every piece of fabric before it’s extremely carefully folded and packed. (b) they are not as experienced as they think. They don’t have many years of experience in the sport and probably never have anyone oversee their work. My own sport is a team effort. Every training session either has a very experienced trainer supervising, or if I’m training alone I video the session and then analyse it. I wonder how many accidents there would be if two people went over safety protocols, the packing of chutes etc …. I did some paragliding back in the day and safety was paramount.
Reminds me of those idiots who got in a little submarine, only to violently implode at the bottom of the ocean. Real heroes. Great adventurers. Titanic geniuses.
The 2 first accidents was because their parachute did not open The third, he went off course The 4th, he does not tell what did happen, so we don't know a thing The 5th, parachute problem, it opened with delay The 6th, he tried a prototype suite, but he don't tell what happened, just suppositions The 7th-last accident, one was distracted by phone calls and texts he atted immediatly just before jumping, he flew left-right-left-hard bank-right, so he crashed, his buddy was certainly shocked thus he crashed as well And a lot of bla-bla-bla non sense to fill that 30 minutes video which could have been done in 5-10 minutes maximum

Famous WWII Parachute Regiment song, "We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, and he ain't gonna jump no more, (chorus) Glory-glory Hallelujah , Glory-glory Hallelujah, Glory-glory Hallelujah, and he ain't gonna jump no more. (sung to 'John Brown's Body')
As an old time skydiver (1962) when you say their parachute didn't open, what do you mean. The pack didn't open releasing the chute, or the pack opened, the chute came out and didn't open, did it streamer? Do these new parachutes have a reserve? Why wasn't it deployed? Please be more specific.
I understand the thrill of flying just above the treetops, but if I ever try to wings suit, I would be doing it at altitude. No thrill of narrowly avoiding terrain for me thank you
Experienced wingsuit pilots start with very simple, safe flights. Then, very gradually, they make flights through ravines and over treetops. That takes a lot of experience. The problem is that new wingsuit pilots are not told that and they immediately copy the flights of experienced pilots. That's when these terrible accidents happen.
Alot of us have at least some degree of adrenaline junkie in us, but few as much of it as these people. People who base jump or maybe free hand up a sheer rock at Yosemite valley are a rare breed. For me a simple very controlled safe roller coater ride at 6 Flags is my satisfied fix on adrenaline rush.
When learning some basic paragliding my instructors were suffering quite bad injuries and this put me off continuing. Good fun while it lasted but not for me. Happy memories though.

Personally I prefer bass jumping to BASE jumping… But seriously people…what further proof dies one need to understand the old adage: “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” It applies here.
I am shocked at the comments, there seems a lot of anger towards the jumpers. I have done a lot of scuba diving, it has always made me so happy. It can be dangerous but to think of what could happen is by no means a deterrent. These activities make people incredible happy and fulfilled, you cannot stop them, you shouldn't stop them. Something always gets us in the end so maybe these people feel they would rather end doing what makes them feel alive.
It's hard for me to understand why people jump out of perfectly fine flying aircrafts. It's even harder to understand why they jump off perfectly fine steady mountains.
Getting out of bed and going to work is a risk for some. But sometimes you have to push yourself to feel alive. And who doesn't want to feel like they've accomplished something worth wild.
These wings suitors all hug and high five each other after a jump and the next day they slam face first into a rock traveling at 120 mph. And their bodies look like mush. Oh yes, such a thrilling great sport. Give me a high five!

Yeah, geeze! We’ve seen 60 mph head-on collision metal car crashes with the whole car front crushed in all the way to the firewall! Ah, wow, a human flesh and bone (and mostly water) body head first into rock going what, 150, 200 mph!! Yeah, mush surely describes it!
WHY DID THEY NEED TO USE DNA ? WAS THERE MORE THAY ONE MORON SPLATTERED AGAINST A BIG ASS ROCK THAT DAY?
In my opinion, it's foolish to do these kinds of activities in the first place, BUT if successful in a particularly dangerous endeavor, ONCE why try to repeat?
Because their life insurance company has NO idea what they are doing.

These inane filler comments to pad out the runtime are killing the. “The park was also home to wildlife …” such as animals and birds. WOW! Who would think it. Animals AND birds?!!!
Just wrote the same. Its inane and annoying “commentary “. It’s gotta be AI, no ?
Scary stuff ! 😮 Imagine the horror when you realize that you're going to hit the ground !
"oh sh... splat"
No thanks
Sorry, I'll pass.
.........at speeds of 150 mph....... splat !! ☠😳😱!!
That’s a given that you will always hit the ground, the big question is just how fast are you going to, and will there be an impact crater.
the intro was very helpful for me who didn't understand wingsuits and BASE jumping. thanks
Base jumping is a bit safer than it used to be but if it goes wrong, it goes deadly wrong
In a world of gray, a little black and white is nice.
Really = a bit safer than deadly????
What is that loke = being almost a little pregnant.

You're right A.I. made trash..!
He moved from Canada and Air Canada flies across borders😉❤️🇨🇦❤️ Google Gander.
It's everywhere. I usually end up watching the same video from dozen sites.
So my comments have forward slashes like a diy bookmark.

Ai voice for sure!
Thanks for your perspective. I believe you meant yoo had to deploy your reserve chute for those 5 jumps, not all 3000.
Cheers.
crazy shit, dude
This is too dangerous for me.
TH-cam is too dangerous?
Just sit on the couch, play with cats and wait for cancer.
The sugar-coated narrative in this video is sickening, every platitude in the book is used. The script must have been written by a ten-year-old child.
or a junior high dropout ...
What is Horrifying ?
This is Selective elimination 😂
If you need a challenge that puts you at your limits, get married!
how can they be disasters , stupid thats what it is .
So…let’s do a hella risky sport while breaking the law? Yeah how romantic and incredibly stupid 😮
"Gravity always wins..." - Radiohead
Am I supposed to feel sorry for these people when they die?
Nope they died the way they want too
They are all on borrowed time. There are no old wingsuit flyers.
They used to say in WW2 when they issued the military with parachutes at their stores, if doesn't open bring it back and we'll give you a new one.
I am surprised there was no mention of Jeb Corliss, since they used a lot of his "Grinding the Crack" footage in Switzerland and especially since he was one of the few to have crashed and lived to tell about it... 2012 jumping Table Mountain in South Africa!
Their last words?
"OH....CHUTE!!!" 🤡
Splat!
Its a one mistake, never another sport.
If at first you don't succeed, does not apply to wing suits.
It seems that the parachutes used by these people are dodgy.
However, they're not very good at dodging the earth 😮.
@@JAM661 Chute.... not shoot.
i can Flyyyyyyy!
SpLaT!!💥
🤪
All I can say is this. You know the risks involved.
You have to hear the rush of the wind as you fall unless you have something covering your ears to drown it out.
This video reminds me of Ivan McGuire who so wanted to capture a video that he forgot to check for a parachute
Look at you solving the world's problems one YT post at a time. A real hero.
@Heathcoatman
Right?
How can you call Amber “successful”?
She died very young in a FAILURE
Clayton had to touch down in order to realize it was too late for Amber?
Reminds me of those idiots who got in a little submarine, only to violently implode at the bottom of the ocean. Real heroes. Great adventurers. Titanic geniuses.
I feel sorry for the families
The 2 first accidents was because their parachute did not open
The third, he went off course
The 4th, he does not tell what did happen, so we don't know a thing
The 5th, parachute problem, it opened with delay
The 6th, he tried a prototype suite, but he don't tell what happened, just suppositions
The 7th-last accident, one was distracted by phone calls and texts he atted immediatly just before jumping, he flew left-right-left-hard bank-right, so he crashed, his buddy was certainly shocked thus he crashed as well
And a lot of bla-bla-bla non sense to fill that 30 minutes video which could have been done in 5-10 minutes maximum
3:31 - Amber could have held the water-flotation record. That much is clear. Holy moly, was she plushly appointed!
Birds wear wings with no suit Man wears Suit with no Wings
FACT!
Sounds like the wing suit parachutes really stink.
I don't know how wingsuiters even leave the ground, with the weight of their balls!!!! 👍
Dean was just one of thoes guys you never expected to die. No matter how huge he was going. I was the pilot where dean and some of his climbing homies learned to skydive. I got lucky and got to jump with him off half dome in the valley. A truly spectacular evening. RIP Dean
W0W!
Tragic but awesome video
I disagree with you that they should have dogs in wing suits.
157 mph: "The jolt was too strong and he died on impact."
Brings back fond memories of Reginald (Veggie Reggie) Hurlbut. I agree with his friend Campbell about being glad that when it was Reg's time, he died while doing what he loved best.
Thank you.
Famous WWII Parachute Regiment song, "We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, We scraped him off the tarmac like a lump of strawberry jam, and he ain't gonna jump no more,
(chorus) Glory-glory Hallelujah , Glory-glory Hallelujah, Glory-glory Hallelujah, and he ain't gonna jump no more.
(sung to 'John Brown's Body')
Splat!...😂
Keep on gambling with your life and guess what happens. Zero sympathy for folks that weigh up the odds and still don't care.
And I thought riding a 49cc scooter was the epitome of 'excitement'! LOL
Did anyone else start laughing during the first minute of the narration? 🤣
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Break the law, pay the price. A person has got to know their limitations, that's the reason.
What are the limitations of Kamala Harris?
but i'm so cool. i have sun glasses.
Video about wing suits, shows a non wingsuit base jumper in the thumbnail 👍🤣
Cool. Wingsuit deaths. I'm watching this.
I understand the thrill of flying just above the treetops, but if I ever try to wings suit, I would be doing it at altitude. No thrill of narrowly avoiding terrain for me thank you
Years back i did hang gliding off the sand dunes ground scimming and that fine for me. ""I always took safety first.
No one brings up suicide in these “accidents”
It's beautiful scenery, and then you become part of it.
You might fool Mother Nature one time or a thousand times, but sooner or later she’s gonna get you! Life is precious, so treat it as such!
We're all going to die but some die sooner.
Why even bother taking a parachute, seems its the most common malfunction.
When learning some basic paragliding my instructors were suffering quite bad injuries and this put me off continuing. Good fun while it lasted but not for me. Happy memories though.
🤪Duh and there's me thinking it was the Queen and James Bond for real then I find out it wasn't
No shit! You reckon
Play stupid games...
Win stupid prizes....
Darwin Award winners.
Every carpenter has hit his finger with a hammer, he never intended for it to happen. It’s was only a matter of time.
It's hard to rationalise the one mistake death pursuits.
Personally I prefer bass jumping to BASE jumping…
But seriously people…what further proof dies one need to understand the old adage:
“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes”
It applies here.
RIP....4821 jumps...I was a jumper when I was young. EVERYTHING WANTS TO KILL YOU, MIGHT AS WELL BE DURING SOMETHING YOU LOVE !
They brought it on with THEIR choices. Who's up for tacos?
I am please !
They gave up a lifetime for a few seconds of adrenaline rush.
RESPECT !
Damn ! This Facinates Me Every time ! I Could Do This Tomorrow , If It Was A Thing Here Where I Live ! 😊 Everything In Life Is A Risk ! 😮
So happy that I am afraid of heights. Low buildings and flat land, so adorable.
What a view! And what freedom! As he smashed his head into the ground!....
How do you find out you can do this ? I really want to know
It's hard for me to understand why people jump out of perfectly fine flying aircrafts. It's even harder to understand why they jump off perfectly fine steady mountains.
Getting out of bed and going to work is a risk for some. But sometimes you have to push yourself to feel alive. And who doesn't want to feel like they've accomplished something worth wild.
We wouldn't have planes, ocean exploration, space travel, etc etc etc. . .Without envelope pushers like these folks.
So litterly the last thing to go through Mark’s mind was his ass. Hence the reason why DNA testing was needed to identify.
These wings suitors all hug and high five each other after a jump and the next day they slam face first into a rock traveling at 120 mph. And their bodies look like mush. Oh yes, such a thrilling great sport. Give me a high five!
Well if You think life is boring - go ahead. However there are many other far less egoistic ways to have fun and do something useful.
