    That's is the greatest review that I have ever seen. I watched lots of review but everyone says it is not good. This is Honda man, how it can be bad. I like this style of motocycle. And this will be the my first bike. I like the color also. The style is amazing. I like the style. But in our country Türkiye, there is only 250cc model because of taxes. I hope I will buy in couple of months. Thank you for your reviews and comments. 😊😉

    For me, I struggle more with left hand turns and u-turns. For some reason I'm more comfortable turning right and doing right u-turns versus anything left. It's time to practice more of the left hand maneuvers.
    Thank you again for your videos. Sometimes it reminds us of the areas we need more practice in. 😊

    Love My SCL500 bought it Oct.5th and it is now the 10th of Dec. I have thrown 1600 miles at it and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to start putting some mods on it. first thing is a tach. I average about 58 mpg on it. mostly driving blacktop around 60-70 MPH
    Update: I have now had this motorcycle for ~6 Months. It now has just over 4500 Miles the tires have held up very well. although, I will have to invest in new tires soon. I have cleaned and lubricated the chain every 300 Ish miles and have replaced the factory muffler with the Coffman's slip on, specific to the scl500. it has been a very reliable motorcycle so far and I truly hope that continues.

      Zach I wasn't sure about riding the SCL500 for a video...very quickly my opinion changed. It is just simply a fun bike very maneuverable and the looks just kept growing me. Every motorcycle should have turn signals on as marker lights. Good for your enjoy your SCL500 I did. Be safe.

    I got on one while owning a Ducati Scrambler. I was not impressed with the handlebars at all. Honda seems to be cutting back on their metal as a lot of these bikes seem to have thinner metal in frames and bars. Bars can be replaced. I did so on two dual sports and what a difference and I would do the same on this bike. 43HP is safe. The Ducati is 73 with an 803 air cooled. That engine rips when you want it to. This is a tuned down version with less TCO. If speed isn't an issue with you, get this one. It provides plenty of acceleration wo thinking you could kill yourself if you make a mistake. Honda makes great products.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Eric this is a terrific comment you have so much motorcycle experience. I own a Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally so you don't have to sell me on Ducati. The base model Ducati Scrambler is around $10,999 and the Honda is $6,799 that is a huge spread for many buyers especially first time motorcycle buyers. No doubt the Ducati Scrambler is worth the extra money to so many. The Honda bike is just a calm sporty fun machine which is more affordable. I'm trusting you with the steel comment I think you did your research. I also think your comment is fair to the Honda Scrambler. New riders should definitely be looking at the Honda Scrambler especially if they are not tall. BTW the more I rode this bike the more comfortable I felt. Great comment by you please continue to comment. Be safe.

    I love me Honda SCL! I'm a new rider and agree with everything you've said. I'm 6'-1" and about 190lb. I felt the same... it seems small, but I feel at home on this bike. It's so fun (Fun, Fun, Fun). My only complaint is the dim dash, which you didn't comment on. Curious on your thoughts?!

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was truly stunned how much I liked this bike...it is a great value you can't beat it for the price. The dash is minimal...could it be better and brighter sure you know what you're talking about you own it. But Honda is working hard to keep the vehicle cost low...so for the price i think it is fine. If you haven't done so already you may want to read the manual to see if it can be adjusted...I don't know maybe even search the web. You have a great bike I'm happy for you, ride safe and please continue to comment.

      @@espero7757 Yes, I have the dash at full brightness and I've installed an anti-glare screen protector... doesn't help much, and wearing sunglasses while riding makes it even worse. However, I still love this bike!

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If I remember correctly it may have been dim...not sure if there is an adjustment for that. Another SCL 500 owner commented how much he loves his bike but the display is a little dim. We must consider if I remember correctly this is a $4,999 bike...holy cow is that a bargain. I'd highly suggest you ride one Hamburg Honda has them in stock and they are great people www.hamburghonda.com. Ride safe let me know if your ride one please.

    The bike concept is great and a bike most riders need. Two comments though, the exhaust is ridiculous designed by a blind man and Harley’s are overpriced pieces of tacky junk.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I respectfully disagree...the exhaust sound was great on this bike and I believe the muffler is also the catalytic converter...I think. Definitely not good for a passenger with that you are right. I own a 2024 Harley Road Glide and it was comparable to other premium touring bikes like the Honda Goldwing. Is it as reliable as the Honda...maybe not but it's still a great bike. I've had no issues with mine. Checkout the videos. Don't hesitate to comment you have a right to your opinion. Ride a HD you may find it interesting. Ride safe

    • @chrro466
      @chrro466 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@maraudermitchelli I agree that the sound is pleasant but from a designers perspective the exhaust is an afterthought by some team that probably doesn’t ride motorcycles.
      But it’s probably the first thing to be junked from the bike by any serious rider.
      I have ridden many Harley’s and they are just well just boring!! They handle like an unbalanced Goldwing and are twice the cost. But I would take an Xr750 in a heartbeat. Probably the only Harley that is a true riders bike and they didn’t even market it.
      Oh the V rod is a fine insane bike but they stopped production of that. !!!
      I often wonder on the mentality of Harley Davidson but it’s clear they offer tacky bikes to obese people and amazingly people pay large amounts to “ride” (in a straight slow line ) on these mobile tarts palaces. Each to their own and that’s a good thing.
