I now finally get to see your face again >:D You had done a really good job with this cover, it is hard to exactly pinpoint like the pitch of the singing (i know the word I'm looking for isn't pitch, but i can't remember it right now) cuz, y'know the audio is from the 2000's. Happy to see another cover, and i hope that your proud of it too. Also if it wouldn't be too much of an ask, could you do "and i love her again"? i feel like you really enjoyed playing it and i wanna hear you play it again. i wanted to do a video in the room again, and i used my phone but the audio sucked so i went and redubbed it, it was so annoying 💀💀💀 but i want to do and i love her SOOOOO bad, and i might, but the guitar i used to match the tone is in the pawn shop rnn so i’ll have to think about if i wanna just say whatever and do it. and pshhhhhh nooo i look old as shit here 💀💀💀

Also don't feel too pressured because i asked if you could do 'and i love her', its fine if it takes a couple months or more to get out. really cool you’re getting a mic! initially, i started using a mic and no video. it gave me room to improve. tips, well i guess first be yourself, people get angsty about “not sounding like ___”, but you never will, and that’s not a bad thing. tempo, keep it slow, it allows more room to breathe. and don’t panic, i do a lot recording to get the perfect take, you have infinite takes so don’t worry, even if you need to take a break and reattempt another day. also i found my voice through listening to other covers and finding what i like. sorry it’s long but, in terms of applications, i use audacity for audio editing, very easy tutorials, and capcut to then synch up the audio and video. so i record on my phone, audio with a mic and put it together. also fun little tip, when you think you’re at your peak skill/vocal level - heart shaped box, and i love her, drain you, about a girl, territorial, all apologies are really good for views. and the effect thing, i went in audacity and added harmonies, basically just lower the volume and add reverb to it, it sounds decent ! good luck on everything and i’ll be checking you out!!!
Hey man thx I’m either gonna do something in the way or and I love her and the keeping it slow tips def helps and yea thx for saying you’ll check me out I’m not the best singer I started just as a guitar player but I really want to sing so I stayed about a month and half ago and I think I’ve made decent progress but yea it took me a while to get decent but then I realized I wasn’t singing with feel and I was caring to much and it help way more than just trying to mimic Kurt keep it up Man U have a very good voice
Oh yea sorry to keep bothering u but does a mic help with tone and stuff and make it sound a lil better bc I’ve been just recording with my phone and the audio sounds like crap and tomorrow I will be getting my first mic
@@Casey_8484 you’re not bothering me at all dwww. and i use whatever i can get, i got lucky and got this decently professional mic for free , a samson q1u or something. anything can work though. the audio you hear in this video is mostly the overdubs and that was recorded on the £2.50 gaming mic i have LOL. any mic that is like a live mic, like those circle ones can be easily made to sound way better with audacity. and you’re right, i struggled so long with wanting to sound like kurt. like when i sing, i don’t put my power and emotion into anger like him, but instead i’m a lot more subdued and quieter, i have hearing issues so that’s just how it’s been i guess. but yeah singing takes so so so long to get decent, within a year i’ve went from not being able to at all to being passable. it’s always good to get used to your voice and stuff. but yeah something in the way would be awesome, but atleast for me can be hard to get the whisper tone right, it’s very delicate. good luck with it though!!!
