I think I might have an explanation for Solar's surrender in the third game - his expansions were denied, the four bases he had left had been pretty much mined out, and he had no resources left. Considering he just made 18 Zerglings, had no minerals and a ton of gas (over 1,000), it is also possible that he did not intend to make Zerglings (which would die to Ghosts and he had no minerals left to make Banelings), and he was dismayed at the mistake.
Dismayed he was.

watching Solar break that Terran line in the first game was inspiring/really cool. I would never run squishy zerg units into 5 checkered tanks with bio supporting

Idk, at the end there Solar effectively had one mining base. The third had only 4 almost-gone mineral patches. Man wouldn't have been able to rebuild another army very soon.
Look at the drone that gets hidded by the reaper's granade at 25:06, it doesn't bounce off and it does a weird animation... Interesting!

It's a bit early. But from Dark's pov, he just loss all his high-value units and fail to do enough damage to the Terran economy. In fact, with both Terran and Zerg with not-so-good economy, 3/3 marines win.

I got introduced to you by a 6 hour grinding session video many years ago and that's probably why I miss these.. But I do understand that this type of content is probably bad for the algorithm :(

Dark is under preasure, a completly wild preasure from the first game to the last, and the last one was.....honestly few players can keep the pace and being completly sane after. So he maybe taped out to save time and sanity. Cause he feels that whatever will happen he will ending up losing the game. Honestly i can't play at this level for sure. But when i see all theses moves i'm like, ok.....I can feel the preasure, the problems being everywhere and no where at the same time. it's hard and they sure struggle some times
I think the GG in G3 from solar was little premature but probably had more to do with being frustrated than anything

He had been on the defensive the whole game, hadn't been taking great trades, and knew that cure's macro/eco had suffered little damage overall.
Still a rage quit though I guess.
He had 4 bases compared to cure 5 orbitals. He had no chance to make army again.

I don't understand the surrender in the last game? Almost dead even supply...
Winter / Jimmy: LOVE the new way you have Titled the past 4 videos! ie "Cure vs Solar ◆ ESL SC2 Cup ◆ StarCraft 2". Especially since it's "ballsy" to rebuff the "SEO/Clickbait/Algorithm" mantras. I have a suggestion: Rather than place your [W] logo up in the top-right-corner of your Thumbnails, where it competes for space with the "Hook-Titles" at the top, why not alter your [W] logo a little and place it down in the bottom-right-corner behind the built in TH-cam-video-length. If you increased the borders of the [W] about 50-100% then the "W" portion would nestle cozily on top of the Time. IMO, Most Viewers will always check the time in the bottom right before clicking, so you would also be placing your "Brand-Name" directly in front of their focal-point.
Also, and/or, it should still be aesthetically pleasing if you added your name to the end of each title, such as "Cure vs Solar ◆ ESL SC2 Cup ◆ StarCraft 2 ◆ Winter" ... or such.
EDIT: Oh, and since I already brought up your graphics: Your main profile Pic, the one with you face photoshopped onto the earmuffed mechanic body, could really use some adjustment. Currently your face is facing straight forward, but the scalp and shoulders of the body are angled about 15-20 degrees to the Viewer's-Right, so it creates an Uncanny Valley Effect where it looks like you are contorting your Face off from your skull. That Picture Low-Key terrifies me every time I look at it lol.
EDIT 2: Yup, just double-checked: Your Profile pic is still a "Body-Snatching-Monster" and should be obliterated with Fire, post-haste!

Solar quit that last game because he was tired of dealing with BS OP terran. If you don't outright steamroll a terran and you're at T3 tech on even footing, you WILL lose. Everything T T3 is better than Z T3, and they always have the option to mineral dump the best unit in the game- marines.
