Great night here in Seattle. Watching your 2yr old Figi, hurricane season is on its way. Dreams of Australia. Thank you for the wonderful intertainment.
Way to land it Keith! And Renee, I'm in such awe of all you do, running a household and school at sea as well as producing beautiful videos. I loved the cooking segments.
We enjoy your videos quite a bit. I was watching an old one where you were sailing from Samoa to Tonga and a line broke. It was quite surprising to me that no one was wearing a PFD while working on deck. We, too, left Flower Mound for a voyage. We grew up north of San Francisco, both sailed most of our lives. We moved to Flower Mound in 1995, lived off FM 2499 at Chaparral. Our eldest graduated from Marcus, our sons graduated from Flower Mound. Our eldest attended Reed College in Portland, graduated, fell in love, stayed. Our next graduated from UNT, moved to Portland. By then we had bought a Caliber 33 which we kept in Seabrook. We decided to move to Portland but first do a bit of sailing. Our third child had the choice of going to college, sailing with us or moving to Portland. He moved to Portland. We left Seabrook May 2013, cruised the ICW around Florida and up to the Chesapeake before heading to the BVI in November. We cruised the eastern Caribbean and then returned to the US via the Bahamas. We often had people ask about our hailing port, Flower Mound! We left the boat for sail in Annapolis, bought a car and drove to Portland where we now live and work. We recently bought a Valiant 40 and look forward to exploring Puget Sound, Western Canada and SE Alaska before heading south. Fair winds Zatara!
I recently bought a boat because I was inspired by your wonderful adventures that you have kindly and generously shared with us. I’m thoroughly enjoying my 2007 Four Winns 338 as my entry into the boating lifestyle. My life has been changed for the better and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this metamorphosis. I salute each of you and wish you continued joy. Cheers!

Why should he be allowed in when there are 25,000 Australians overseas trying to get back home but have to wait their turn because of our strict quarantine laws. Sorry Keith should have stayed in NZ where he’d be safe but his stupidity has left him in this predicament. Fiji is totally safe to stay...it is COVIDSafe and there are many safe places to store his boat on land under cover away from any cyclone threat! He’s now trying to blame our government for his own stupidity. Bye bye Keith.

Great to see Jack helping with changing the battery banks. Don't forget to teach him about lifting correctly so he doesn't cause a back injury. I hope you get to Australia before Nov 1.
Sometimes when you get lots of little minor things does it make you wish that you hadn’t gotten into sailing? Or is it worth it in the long run! It just shows that you’re 100% committed. And thank goodness you guys can fix just about everything and work so well as a family
Jack, don't lift with your back mate (batteries). It'd be a shame to hurt your body at such an important age. If you haven't already done it, thouroghly rinse everything that came in contact with the batteries. Battery acid will eat any fabric it touches, including the rear deck mat.
As others have said there is a proper way to lift/carry a load! Anyone that has had back injuries will attest to how immobile you become and simple things like wiping your butt becomes a struggle. You may think your invincible ( I was at your age) but let me tell you, you will feel all those “minor” injuries when you get older!
Pro tip for the Zatara crew: use the Google Translate app and camera on your phone to convert the Greek on your washing machine magically into English.
Best youtu.be editor : Renee hands down. I am envious of your lifestyle at times then I remember I get daily news about politics and covid and say to myself, great way to spend my latter years on earth..ahh the news 🤯. Thanks for sharing and giving me some relief from "the news".
Renee. We peg our washing on the lifelines like this.... put the garment or towel over the line and peg under the line. I.e. the peg isn't clipped to the line, but under the line clipping the two pieces of towel hanging down.... bloody hard to explain!!. Anyway, we NEVER have stuff unclip using this method.
And another great video, love the boat view with the kites side by side and Jack flying. Coking, great macro shots. Jack, Finn and Kate should start entering in kitesurfing competitions , Keith could be the trainer, Renee the Administrator. They are doing great.
Re 2:08, funny last night as anticipation your next post, I was thinking of your wash and dry methods such as your machine and sometimes hanging out some laundry to dry. I was thinking about your laundry not stiffening during the dry. Looks like working out well for you.
Things to consider before you order and install lithium based battery system. The Balmar manufacture has an alternator that has an external field voltage control suitable for lithium. Also good idea to install a smart battery protect device victron energy have one 12/24/220 it stop you from discharging batteries to low by monitoring the voltage depending on the profile is picked for the device. If using victron energy lithium batteries will also need a VE Bus BMS to monitor the batteries which help with the ability to restrict the use below the 20% capacity level regards
I enjoyed the video. The boys are really amazing. I miss Anna in the boat. Kate is getting prettier. Kudos to Keith & Reena , you guys are doing an excellent job. I cannot imagine how enjoyable sailing is until i watch your video. Stay safe and healthy all the time. Till the next video.

That wahoo fajita burrito looked outstanding! I'd love to see more catch, clean and cook videos from you all. :)
Pro tip for the Zatara crew: use the Google Translate app and camera on your phone to convert the Greek on your washing machine magically into English.
or ask a Greek. Send me the text and I will translate

Well i am Greek, and i just translated a screencap of the washer. The Image is here ibb.co/myqrGdH Let the family know. ; p
Bad advice Google translate Is sadly unreliable
Renee, thanks again for some pure gold in the last few seconds of the video. Way to go Keith!
Good luck Zatara. Stay safe. Love watching the family in high spirits.
Nice work on the kite Keith!! The kids aren’t too shabby either!!
Kudos to Jack on that lifting! Those are so heavy! Hope you find safe port.
Awesome! Love from South Africa. It’s Spring here by us and I was just dreaming of how nice and fresh the air is in the middle of the ocean 🥰
Praying you guys can get to where you want to go. Be Safe and God Bless!!
Your drone footage of the kiting was fantastic!!!!
those aerial shots make it look like your surfing so close to Zatara - it looks scary. another great show in the bag.
Atta boy Kieth! Great ar under y’all’s board!
Glad British Columbia can help y’all out with those parts!
Bryan from Vancouver (BC)
I love the new close ups on the cooking! Wahoo for days!
Love to watch you guys, good luck in the tornados season. And congratulation for the Kitesurf evolution, nice jump in the end of the video!
The kiting pictures/cinematography makes me think it is coming out of a professional magazine on it. Damn I wannna go kiting now!
Looks like working out well for you.
hey guys, love watching ur family grow, have been watching you guys since your very first video, always have a blast watching, keep em coming!
Love you guys. Take care and all the best getting ready for the storms, hope you miss then. God bless.
Ada boy Keith!! Nice job, wish I could be kite boarding, instead of being in lockdown. Hope you find a safe port for the season.
I would love to experience this lifestyle with my kids.
Way to go Keith on the kite board nice move, hopefully something will work out for you all to get someplace to be safe for cyclone season
Such great editing and music selection. Amazeballs Renee! You are killing it!!! Love your channel
If using victron energy lithium batteries will also need a VE Bus BMS to monitor the batteries which help with the ability to restrict the use below the 20% capacity level
regards
I enjoyed the video. The boys are really amazing. I miss Anna in the boat. Kate is getting prettier. Kudos to Keith & Reena , you guys are doing an excellent job. I cannot imagine how enjoyable sailing is until i watch your video. Stay safe and healthy all the time. Till the next video.

Renee.... I watched until the end... The reward (though definitely not required) would make it worth everyone watching the show all the way through... I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say; Good on ya' Keith! Well done, mate! (get the Australian accent?) good luck! seems like the vids are running about two weeks behind, so with two weeks left on your insurance, The Martins wish you the best!
