Keith is an incredibly knowledgable and capable man. I'm always impressed

I hope everyone remembers. Without Renee there wouldn't be a Sailing Zatara channel. Keep all the great videos and music coming our way. Thank you 👍 yesireebob
You guys are living the life. I wish everyone could experience that. I spent years in the US Navy sailing the world and didn't see it because I was on submarines and they're classified so they don't dock in many ports. To me there is no better feeling of freedom than being on the water. You guys took that leap and from watching your videos you seem to be enjoying every minute of it. I went back and decided to watch from the beginning so, I'm only up to this point in the series. I like Keith's sense of humor. I noted in one of your other videos Keith is a professional handyman. Every kid should grow up this way, they learn much more than they would learn in a conventional school. Smooth sailing guys. Stay safe and push on. JT from the Bronx, NY over and out.
I just want to throw out there that I really enjoy watching your videos. In the morning my 3yo and I will catch up while everyone else sleeps. One day I will see you out on the water so don't get creeped out when I find you lol
Such stunning scenery. I enjoy this a lot. Reminds me of my trips where I take the good music like the Guns N Roses, Imagine Draongs or the Delta Parole and then enjoy the powerful feeling of the sea. ¡vamos!
To ALL the WHITAKERS I want to Wish All of Your FAMILY a #HAPPY & #BLESSED #THANKSGIVING #DAY! Since Getting to know You and Your Family for the last 3 years YOU are at the TOP of My LIST for the things for which I am Most #THANKFUL! You Guys are Always in My Thoughts & PRAYERS that GOD Protects and Keep you from Harm You have Raised SOME of the Most Beautiful Children In the WORLD Both on the OUTSIDE and on the INSIDE! You are always in my THOUGHTS & PRAYERS! #LYBM " LOVE YOU BACK MORE "!!!!!
Renee, you KILLED it on this episode ... tight shots, new camera (?) ... wide angle lens plus extreme close ups (Keith's hairy arm ! - hey, and I just watched his King Air 200 episode - right on, pilot bro), the drone just continues to differentiate you from every other sailing adventure out there (perspective & scene changes), editing was SUPERB ... the videography was HOLLYWOOD. I don't know how to explain it (ineffable) but this episode was a CREATIVE LEAP in your work. I have watched all your episodes. This story succeeded (dip in the pond + ice maker -Mayday!) in a new way. Keep experimenting and looking forward to your next story ... :)
Great job Keith in showing how to fix the ice-maker. Thank goodness for FedEx (or equal) to get those mission-critical parts. Just tell Kate to jump in the water to cool down. Happy Thanksgiving to all the crew.
Just binge watching this video. I am surprised Keith does not grab Jack and let him at least see what he does with these little projects. It may pay off in later years.
Ice maker vs the kids? Ice maker you're right about that... 🤣😀 Wait a minute you can make ice manually? Shoot, keep the kids. You need them to run the ice maker.
I really enjoyed this one, you did a great job telling the story and showing us a realistic storyline of exactly how stuff was going down, and the challenges of life on the boat/in the world.
Fantastic story telling and videography!! You guys are a great team. Renee, amazing editing & Keith can fix anything! That was super interesting. Wish I knew more about electric. Good electricians are hard to find & needed! Kids, skip college & go into the trades.
RENEE.. .you are killing the editing game... the opening with Keith was great! I love the vids where papa bear is learning a new trade! LOL Feels like home. I just comptelety gutted and updated one of our bathrooms... carpentry, plumbing, structural engineering, drywall, mudding and taping, tile work...lol. We try to stretch a buck too. LOVED the diving stuff.. Funny thing, we got the oppotunity to go somewhere tropical several years ago, and I was so afraid of damaging coral, or cutting myself on it, so when you said that, I really identified! Seeing all that beautiful reef has to be such a mix of feelings. HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the Martins!!!
You guys are doing such an amazing job at making videos! It’s unique, entertaining and way more. I’m a big boat fan myself, I love sailing a lot and I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now. I can just tell you that I’m really jealous of the life you guys are having, exploring the world and just living in an adventure. Keep up the great work!
It's really amazing how knowledgeable you are about all your systems. Another interesting video I'm the Old Navy Photog I left the Police Dept ( Mpls Mn)after 12 yrs and started my Tool business in 1986 selling Mac Tools up to 2015 and during all those years learned just about everything you ever wanted to know about using tools and diagnostic devices. I really like the way you go about figuring out what's broken rather than just replacing parts. You could start your very own DIY series on one of these channels and the reason I say this is your whole approach to repairs is interesting. I noticed the Mac Tools 123 piece screwdriver bit set and you mentioned it on one of your repairs. You definitely have what I call the TOOL DISEASE this Disease is incurable so all you can do is keep buying them. PS if I was still selling tools I'd send you a set but to late I'm retired.
Land locked land lubber here!😂 I am trying to catch up to your current vids while I am recovering from shoulder surgery and a stupid knee injury so don’t know if you’ll see this but you scared the crap out of when you said you may have to sell the boat;😱😂. I’m watching as fast as I can and enjoying every moment! You guys rock!
This structure of video is what built this channel. Showing the boat, your individual characters, the boating life with the generator and AC, fuelling the dingy. This is it! Stay safe and hope you can move on again soon!
Keith reminds me of my husband Heath. Lol he can fix anything and if he can't he will watch videos or read a book and figure it out. I love being married to a smart man. Love watching y'alls videos and floating away with y'all😊
RENEE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR A GOOD LONG TIME ,WHEN YOU KNOW THE CAB DRIVERS FIRST NAME ...L O L ...LOVE YOUR SHOW AND KEEP HAVEING ALL THAT GREAT LIFE ...IT IS A GREAT SHOW
So great to see the two of you still getting away from the youngsters and doing things together! Thanks for the great video. Easy fix on the ice maker, I would get 2 of those solenoids!
Fantastic video as usual...Keith, you are not an idiot, but you are damn entertaining...love you guys, and super impressed that you did not burn down the boat with that electrical fix Keith!
Dag Nab'it Keith you big goober, my heart dropped a beat with that opening of "We may have to sell the boat" and don't you think I'm letting you off the hook for that one either Renee... LOL, just kidding of course and I'm glad y'all got the ice maker sorted or possibly sorted I guess I'll see how that turns out next week, "at the same Bat Time, same Bat Channel". Of course now maybe I should be saying, "at the same Z Time, same Z channel"...
The intro to this video was hilarious. Well played. Keith backing out of bed in his biker shorts had me laughing out loud. All you need now is a follow-behind shot of him in a speedo snorkeling and you'll have the 100k+ view formula down. Fantastic videos! May your travels be safe and fulfilling.
I agree Keith, No Ice, No Boat! I'm glad you are skilled enough to diagnose most all of the issues that arise! At least a new solenoid will only be a a few dollars to buy it. Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone Celebrating something to Be Thankful for! Be Safe and God Bless! 🦃🙏🏻👍😎❣️
Happy Thanksgiving Z crew!!! Praying Anna makes it for Christmas in the name of Jesus. God Bless and thank you for sharing your story with us. You guys are AMAZING!!!
Hi Keith, the solenoid looks very similar to the one in a fisher and paykel washing machine or an old Simpson, Plenty of old ones lying about in Fiji I reckon. Regards Steve.
A could should always have impedance. The resultant EMF pulls the “plunger” up the valve allowing water to flow. The “plunger” Is held down by a spring typically, shutting off water flow. Also put something through the Center of the coil always when it’s off the valve , in case it activates. It will burn out if no valve stem in the middle.
I wish you the best. I watch you since the beginning from Seattle Wa Usa. I am originally from Argentina. Love your life and Family strong belief. Keep the good work. Happy Thanksgiving.
Hi Keith, good job done figure out the broken piece. The probability of it breaking again is quit high,as it is not very old,so there must be something causing it to break, like voltage spikes for example.I would take it apart and see what is actually burned or broken, and order these piec(es) to fix it next time.Company support can let you know if they are aware of this weakness and already redesigned the whole thing maybe. GOD bless you
Nice troubleshooting. Our submarine patrol was delayed for a week due to our ice cream machine failing, so I understand the urgency of the ice maker. Would like to see your long-term review of your solar and battery upgrade. You mentioned wanting to conserve fuel for the AC - do you still need more power capacity?
I love your taste in theme music and music throughout the video!! Incredibly inspiring! I love the shots you all get from the cameras!! Happy thanksgiving!!
Good luck getting into Australia at the moment. Very slim chance. Our state borders have also been shut between states. We are only now able to travel between the states for Aussie residents.
Renee great job on telling the story about boat life. Glad Keith is able to fix things around your sailing home. Stay safe things are getting really bad here in VA. As of right now my family is experiencing COVID-19 with my sisters whole family is sick with COVID. Happy Thanksgiving not much of one here but we are making the most out of a bad situation. Love you guy’s.❤️❤️
Happy Thanksgiving Zatara family !!! Wow Renee, you do an amazing job with your videos, very impressive! Keith is pretty good at what he does too, suppose he’s worth keeping 😉😉 I hope you decide to just stay in Fiji for now, there is so much uncertainty with boarders closing up again, it would be awful for you all to be stuck at sea somewhere with no place to go. Anyhow, I’m praying for your safety !!! Thanks for sharing this amazing place with us !!! Blessings

The underwater footage is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Good job, guys!
Such stunning scenery. I enjoy this a lot. Reminds me of my trips where I take the good music like the Guns N Roses, Imagine Draongs or the Delta Parole and then enjoy the powerful feeling of the sea. ¡vamos!
That was some of the clearest water I have seen on one of your dives yet. Beautiful!!
Renee - YOU are the rock in the family !
Renee, great job telling this story of daily life living on a yacht. Wishing Keith, you and the family a very happy Thanksgiving!
👍
Go on ye Steve 😉😉
Great to see Big K out there trashing waves!! Stay SAFE you’s guy’s! Lovin the Vid!
Imagine a life where you can just casually turn down diving 🥰😍😂
Great cinematography on the intro today...missed a lot of the family interaction. But watching you guys all working the boat makes it “fun” to watch.

Oh. My. God.. I should know by now! But that teaser trailer had me scared until the end ! Renee you are a genius editor !
Enjoy watching your all diving and able to see everything under ocean water ! Mike from Missouri

Keith, I understand the problem, I am Fedexing a 20 lb bag of ice immediately! I hope it gets there before cocktail time. Take care brother 😎

Good luck guys . My wife and I will be praying for you all. Love your channel.

Thank you Renee for the diving video. Love seeing the fishes. Also, trash the U line. We bought a Scotsman nugget ice maker. Never been happier.

Damn the whole intro was for the icemaker... Woot... I got scared a bit
I'm shocked you don't have a backup icemaker, truly, ice is life!
I love watching your underwater videos. You could put a whole hour long video of that and I would watch
that is paradise.. Bora Bora is stil on my list :)
Seeing Renee & Keith on a date is so satisfying. More of those, please. You could add "Old Fart Friday" or "Senior Saturday" to the lineup.
As always the editing is superb. Ice maker is life.
Happy Thanksgiving to the crew of Zatara!
Keith: Funny, Mr Fix It, & Family man, all wrapped into 1!
Your vids are getting so much better congrats Renee👍👍👍👍🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴
Dude, don't shock me like that. The beginning was to scary.

WOW!!! That reef was amazing!!!
Fiji is in my bucket list now.
Good luck with Oz! 🇦🇺👍👋. Yes, ice machine comes before anything else!
Hi Keith, the solenoid looks very similar to the one in a fisher and paykel washing machine or an old Simpson, Plenty of old ones lying about in Fiji I reckon. Regards Steve.
New engines! OMG $$$$$$ . Should be cool from then on! Rocken Zatara

👍 Keith shows his 'Jack of all Trades' side... again!
Australia is starting to open up hang in there guys soon
Happy Thanksgiving Zatara family!
This is some epic underwater shot, you should be on Discovery channel
Your right, you need a water inlet valve. Any single valve for a whirlpool or Maytag fridge will work.
The ice maker is the deal breaker...
📰🗞 One Journey 🌎🌍🌏🗺Let’s Make It Count❗️
I Love it when you all post your dive footage!
The intro scared me
same
Agreed
What!
Happy Thanksgiving Day, Zatara. Take care and GOD BLESS!

I wonder how many other people started tearing up at the opening of this video
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I esp. enjoy these episodes where Keith's intuitive / tech side kicks in - always learn somethin' new! Happy Tyranny (oopsie, I meant 🦃) Day! 😎
Happy thanksgiving y’all!
I haveno doubt in Keith's ability to fix anything it just makes me realize I couldn't do this
Keith, love to see you using a Fluke 87 V multimeter. Excellent choice! Hope you are able to get back into "Hard" water soon.
Love your videos Renee! Love your music choices too!
