MT, Thanks for the cool video of the Opal Springs area; it has been closed for the last 2 years for construction of the fish ladder, it is good to see folks getting back down there. I also appreciated that you voiced calling the DVWD or at least checking in when you are down there; after all it is an active hydro electric site. The Fish hatchery down there is run by ODFW, and they are in fact steelhead! It helps supplement numbers until enough fish start spawning naturally up the Crooked. Thanks for the video. I’ve lived in central Oregon my entire life and have never seen this.
Nice video. I spent two years down there putting all the iron in that new fish passage. Headed to round butte dam soon.
