    Do you have video on how to change the red vtek silencer? Mine already needs to be changed on my revo shaft. Should I stick the silencer first before the tip order should I stick the tip on the silencer first before I glue it on the shaft? Thanks

    Doesn’t the silence pad get worn after changing the tip multiple times on revo ? I noticed that the red coloring is starting to fade away on mine that’s why i am asking. Thanks for your recent respond btw !

    • @abdiaz66
      @abdiaz66  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it will eventually get worn. If the installer is good you should be able to change the tip 30+ times before that pad needs replacing

    • @abdiaz66
      @abdiaz66  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shortydancer unfortunately all tips tend to squat to a certain extent. Soft tips in particular. What I tend to do at customer request is I’ll put a slight taper on the actual leather tip when installing it. This allows for the tip to squat evenly flush with the ferrule

    • @abdiaz66

      It lubricants the tip allowing the razo blade to cut through the leather easier. Yes also keeps the leather from getting too hot

    • @abdiaz66

      The cuetec carbon fiber shafts don’t come with fiber pads because of the way they are engineered they don’t need them

    After a month from installing a new tip i noticed some residue from the superglue i uses to glue the tip. I‘d be happy to hear your advise on this. Should i use some aceton ? Or use the razor blade ?.

    • @abdiaz66
      @abdiaz66  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The black electric tape I use is key for keeping the super glue from getting on the actual carbon. If you have residue on the shaft yes use a little acetone.
