I made these today. My partner said they are the best thing you can do woth a courgette. They went really well with dal. Thank you for leaving in the mixing - it helped me do it properly. ❤
Thank you for another wholesome and simple recipe. I love that you always consider the person who might be watching a video about cooking a new kind of food for them. To keep in all the time where you show the kneading and mixing dough is an act of kindness to those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. It is encouraging to see you knead a little, then add a sprinkle of flour and knead again etc. if someone picks up these techniques as a child, they can seem so obvious, but these days we can all learn from different cultures which is brilliant, and also some people may have grown up in a home where no one cooked for them. So well done for leaving in all the long parts and not clipping them out like some chefs do, assuming everyone knows already. And for those of us who do know, then I would just say thank you too, because it’s soothing and meditative just to watch your wonderful hands making food with love. While I watched you making the sweetcorn faitta, I heard you say you’re keeping it simple. I thought to myself, “What, not even chopped coriander?” Then you added coriander (of course!) 😅 Blessings from England ❤
Thanks for your kind words. Whenever it comes to learning anything new I personally feel that even those little details are so very important for a beginner. I gained my experience through making several mistakes so I try my best to sum up a video keeping those in mind. Thanks so much for all your support. Glad you liked the idea of sweet corn raita.
10:18 a lot of times you see someone dump a large amount of oil into the pan and then begin the cooking. I admire the effeciency and precision of adding only a few drops of oil directly to the food and then cooking it in this manner. It's more elegant, less caloric and of course having less oil to spray all over the kitchen/burn you severely is a huge bonus! Good tip
9:22 I can’t imagine how disappointed you must have been using zucchini in place of cucumbers, in your salad! I love these recipes Bumbi, and I’m looking forward to trying the zucchini option next summer. Have a superb weekend.
I love your videos, always full of tips and tricks but this one was really great, making a good dough is so hard so pleased that you showed the whole process
When I was a child my father had a huge garden with plenty of zucchini. My mom would make fritters with them, but I think he would have really liked this recipe too! Thank you for sharing another great recipe to try!
Made it today exactly as per your recipe and everything, right down to the little brown spots, came out exactly as you described. Very nice recipe, thanks.
Dear Bumbi, I had the almost same encounter with my first zucchini and you are right: people are generally very helpful if you are proactive in asking around. When I first learned to make dumpling skin from the internet, it used to drive me crazy that one second all the ingredients were getting poured into a mixing bowl, then in another second, the dough was miraculously formed in the now spanking clean mixing bowl lol. I deeply appreciate your not editing out the mixing of the dough mixture as it gives people like me an idea of the progression in the consistency of the dough from start to finish. See you in the next delicious clip!
Bumbi. You are the best teacher ever. Going to get zucchini & will try tonight. As always, perfect recipes, perfect descriptions & great listening/watching. Thank you.
Considering how short people's attention spans are these days, I appreciate you reaffirming the importance of patience and mastering the small details. Especially something like cooking, which should be fun and enjoyable!😊
Hi Bumbi 👋Amazing recipes as always. So many times I have searched for recipes to use up zucchini's, or courgettes as we call them here. Those flatbreads beat all the recipes that I have found. They look wonderful and so does the sweetcorn raita. I really need to try these recipes. Thank you my dear friend. Hope you have a great weekend 💕
Lovely. Last time I had zucchini starting to look sad in my fridge, I immediately checked your channel and found a delicious recipe of yours (fried zucchini with lentils). Can't wait to try this one! 🥰
Found an old video of yours the other day and noted your title. Great use of zucchini. Thanks for showing whole process of paratha. I've never made them. Hi from Oregon, US.
❤Hi Bumbi from U.K.. Just amazing what can be done with what l consider to be a very, boring, tasteless veg. The good part about that is, it will absorb some delicious herbs and spices. These are just simple but full of flavour ❤. God Bless talented Lady 🙏🙏👍
Namaskar Bo and delicious mummy ❤ I will try this nice bread for Mrs Colin (she used to be a baker) 😂 however me I am GF so any flour tips bumbi ❤❤❤ Colin 🆗 🇮🇳 🇬🇧
Hi Bumbi, Just a few weeks too late for my zucchini patch, but I do make it with cooked winter squash all winter (and your method makes me think that perhaps I can just grate the raw winter squash for this?). The raita looks gorgeous and I will try it this weekend and let you know. Comfort food indeed! Thank you for bringing new ideas to my kitchen. Best wishes to you.
@@CurriesWithBumbi Yes, I mean types like buttercup and butternut (both of which I find nicer than pumpkin). I do usually steam them, but thank you for your comment and I won't try it with raw.

Looks good. I make tortillas and it was hard at first to get them round. My kids helped me and laughed with me when they were weird looking. It was a lot of fun. I only use oil to roll them out so the flour doesn't burn. Do you have a video on naan bread?
I haven’t yet mastered on making naan breads. Even my mom uses oil to roll out when making parathas but zucchinis tend to make dough bit sticky so dusting with flour makes it easier to roll out

Try a courgette and potato curry, that’s another excellent use for them 👍
Looks so delicious!! ....and the yogurt mix OMG! I am going to make it soon and report back!

Brilliant recipe Bumbi and I like the part where you used the zucchini liquid as the moisture needed for the dough. That was very clever.
Thank you. I never waste that 😀
