Retinol breaks down on exposure to sunlight, so it won't work if used in the morning. It makes your skin more sensitive to the sun so you need to wear strong SPF

Not all retinols are photosensitive. It depends on the type of retinol used (some derivatives are pretty gentle). Adapalene, for example, is a photostable retinol for acne prone skin that can be used day and night. No matter what type of retinol, a pea sized amount is important.

Retinols are a long term investment in your skin. They work over weeks and months, with the best noticeable results coming after six months to a year into using it. You're giving a very short term view

Could you please tell me more about this? I'm honestly curious!! I tried retinol for a few months and stopped cause didn't feel it was doing anything but I didn't know it was such a long term process.

@@gleidissantos5815retinol is widely used to take care of our wrinkles and wrinkles are not somehing that you can change within a few weeks or 1-2 months. If your skin is already used to it you can increase the percentage to around 0.5 to quicken the process. Usually people see results in half a year for brightening and other results but usually for wrinkles some people have to wait a few years. Be consistent ❤❤❤

(I USED IT UPDATE) Youve made a few videos claiming different products made the same breakout go away, so which one was it ? Should i just save up to buy it all or is this one really the one ?

I went through a whole bottle of this product, I made it the star of my nighttime routine since its a retinol and I don't want it to be ruined with other active ingredients and it not only didn't work, but didn't prevent breakouts and made my skin worse my acne went from a few on my cheek to it covering both sides of my face and onto my neck) I do not recommend.

Lactic acid is a great alternative to those sensitive to retinol.
