One of the most painful moments in a game is when you have just KOd 4-5 of the enemies, the 1 minute callout just gave “we’re really struggling”, and then your team’s ADC (or any attacker) goes to back cap. I can safely say that I don’t like any backcapping in solo queue cuz it’s way too disorganized for the rest to not just get blown up when you do, but really when you JUST got a notification that you’re more than 100 points behind why would you go score?? Like it is guaranteed that those points will not be enough to win us the game even if you get them, rip Ray with the Slowbro and Hoopa who just spent all game trying to keep you alive
Had this exact thing happen to me. I also had an instance, where we were down big going into ray, took ray, killed 3 of the oppossing pokemon, and then my entire team decided to chase the last two remaining Pokemon instead of scoring and we lost.
That chase happens so frequently it can be very maddening. I’ll intentionally chase sometimes when playing a defender to keep their remaining players out of the pit and leave it free for teammates, but it just hurts when they also chase or back cap or just do nothing in those scenarios
When that happen in my games i just report those dumb players for trolling, works every single time. Play properly or stay out of ranked, end of story. And im not an toxic ass im far away from that but i cant stay it when my team has the chance to win and they start to throw it on purpose while some of my teammates really grief and feed.

This happened to me a while ago, but my teammates saw one enemy and went to chase that one enemy instead of ripping Rayquaza leading to Ray healing and enemy team respawning with their unite moves back. Then we lost the game.
Also for love of god when 4 enemies are down and only someone like enemy cinderace is alive, 2 people just stop ripping and find that mon and kill him cause he will steal the ray and out secure it even if all 5 of you are ripping ray
So it sounds like a team wasn't ripping Rayquaza and the enemy team respawned and unite moved your whole team and then you lost. It really all depends on how much time is left on the clock and the structure of the fight at the time. I've been using the "block their way" emote a lot lately and it's been literally winning games by directing the team to either KO the entire enemy team first or to block them from Rayquaza as opposed to ripping the objective at a bad time. People literally stop ripping and actually fight or block enemy teams way.
I get that Timi only let's you see the total score at the end of the match for suspense. But what if you can actually see the score mid game so you don't have pointless battles to endure.

In the beginning because the shield is based off HP squishier mons had theirs popped really easily. That's at least one reason they were buffed. I don't think they really thought about what that would mean for the bulkier ones however, since even allrounders and supporters can be nay impossible to stop. Let's say there are like 20 seconds left and rayquaza is still there and you have teammates still there and all the enemies are there, just go score if you can. If the timer has gotten that low even if they get rayquaza they wont have time to get rayquaza and score in 20 seconds so that could be the difference between a win and a loss
The other condition not to take Rey is if there is 30 seconds left. There isn't enough time to take Rey and score before time is up. Lost several matches because the team didn't realize how little time was left.
If they can move fast enough I say it's still worth it. Had a game where I was scizor and my teammate was a greedent to where we rush ripped in 30 and we both made it to the same with 4 seconds left on the clock and scored. This was literally today while climbing to master rank(. Think i was ultra 2 during that match. finished ultra one climb with eldegoss to master.)
I've seen Ray ripped and 300+ scored in thirty seconds. It takes the full team but very doable. He'll, just take your fav adc into practice mode and see how fast you can rip Ray aolo
i actually had a game like that very recently -- team ripped with 30 seconds left and secured. i was the only one who saw the clock and ran to score, but i was only able to score because as i ran up to goal, they secured. we won by less than 20 points. the secure can def be worth it, but it's very hard to coordinate with randoms.
My experience: In 40 matches to reach master. 2 or 3 times I won, with the enemy team gettin Ray. The other times, always the team who got Ray, won. So 2wins/24matches win: 8% win, without ray. I only recall the matches that are interesting, and losing Ray sounds interesting to me.
Had a match yesterday that did the exact opposite of the first point! Lmao! Finally, I thought, a good match! It's going well! Then those dreaded last 2 minutes. 4 enemies we were able to take down, one other was backcapping. We lost one teammate, one went to score, I stayed at Ray thinking we'd rip, the rest went back to base to heal. We lost Ray and lost with less than 100 points difference.
THAT is a fact. KO the ENTIRE enemy team. @Spragels is right. Yesterday,I,as an Eldegoss got to ko 3 enemy players & a 4th trying to STEAL Ray... Before we got to score, the enemy team surrenders...
I would love a video on how to play as a non-carry pokemon. You make a lot of content about how to carry, but once you get to higher ranks, it's important to know how you should play when you're the weakest member of your team.
Mhmm, even if you're the weakest you can be MVP, most of the time I get 0 score at the end of the fight but I secure it by becoming the team Leader. Ping here, ping there, telling them what to do, securing objectives, be a meat shield for protecting the damage dealer and the list goes on. Teamwork wins the game even if it's a solo queue. But I just hate it when you have a team that doesn't listen, and that's where everything goes downhill.
It’s like 95 percent Evan if your being decimated and you steal requesa you just bam win the game unless a miracle for the other team happens I find it so annoying when they start requasa I wish they made it so whiever did the most damage gets the sheild
And shields are really easy to delete, it just takes 2 people bursting down the person who stole ray, now they have no shield and it was all for nothing gg

Does tyranitar gets a secret buff because its kinda level up fast?
Had a match yesterday that did the exact opposite of the first point! Lmao!
Finally, I thought, a good match! It's going well! Then those dreaded last 2 minutes.
4 enemies we were able to take down, one other was backcapping. We lost one teammate, one went to score, I stayed at Ray thinking we'd rip, the rest went back to base to heal. We lost Ray and lost with less than 100 points difference.
ty for this great content
this happened to me last night was soo upsetting
Praying to God all the randoms i will be playing with are watching this video
when will spragels and crishero will end the battle of the vensuar build
Bro I buy a Pokemon for fight under 12000 which one I buy
It’s like 95 percent Evan if your being decimated and you steal requesa you just bam win the game unless a miracle for the other team happens I find it so annoying when they start requasa I wish they made it so whiever did the most damage gets the sheild
Thank you
People will keep throwing at Rayquaza for as long as we have the B tier :/
Yo i did a 1vs5 with aegislash and wiped whole team💀 still it's the correct choice nice vid jake👍
And shields are really easy to delete, it just takes 2 people bursting down the person who stole ray, now they have no shield and it was all for nothing gg
i don't know how people just realize this lol
my team is dumb af
my team point us 307 the opponent is 289 and only 1 enemy get the rayquaza shield, my team gives up
Thank you for helping people think, Jake, thank you.
Just be good. Then any strat will work.
I carried a team as scizor so many times it gets annoying.
I love this game , but it’s got one foot in the grave and I’m so close to putting the final nail in the coffin, Nintendo gives it no love and the community is becoming toxic trolls ,rank is a joke
So you said we should take ray. But you never said where we should take ray. Out? Bowling? To daycare? Where jake?? WHERE DO WE TAKE RAY??
I've made a huge mistake
Whenever i am near raquaza i always end up stealing him by only one move 😂its not a big deal even all opposite pokemon up 😅 but i can steal him if i am near him but my random team mate sucks 😢😢😢😢
naw just get outrage and any other move on dragonite and easy win gg
Kind of irrelevant when your teammates don't even show up to Ray
Love you Jake
