When he came across this young man shoppin’ at Costco and shoppin’ it hot.
And the Devil jumped upon the food court stand and said, "Boy, let me tell you what."
"I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a Marvel Snap player, too.
And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you.
Now you play a pretty good Conquest, boy, but give the Devil his due.
I'll bet a Card Back of gold against your soul 'cause I think I'm better than you."
The boy said, "My name's Alex, and it might be a sin,
But I'll take your bet; you're gonna regret 'cause I'm the best there's ever been."
Alex, cook up your brew and play your 12 cards hard.
'Cause Hell's broke loose in Canada and the Devil deals the cards.
And if you win you get this shiny Card Back made of gold,
But if you lose the Devil gets your soul.
The Devil opened up his case and he said, "I'll start this show."
And fire flew from his fingertips as he shuffled up his deck.
And he pulled the opening hand across the board and it made an evil hiss.
And a deck of OP cards joined in and it went something like this.
*Black knight, Blade, Lady Sif, Ebony Blade Right, MODOK, top decked Hella, 60 points each lane*
When the Devil finished, Alex said, "Well, you're pretty good, old son,

And he laid that golden Card Back on the ground at Alex’s feet.

SERIES 5 to SERIES 4: Jean Grey, Living Tribunal, Hercules, Selene, Gladiator, Nebula, Silk
SERIES 4 to SERIES 3: Martyr, Silver Samurai, Howard the Duck, Mirage, Echo
And you thought good cards would drop :)

The "Banger" card thst COZY sas trying to remember that came out during the NEBULA season was *DRUMROLL* Howard The Duck. And yes... I did spend 6000 tokens 39 seconds after he released.

See you need Howard so that Iron Lad can hit Wong so that Gambit can Master Blaster your opponent's board
I did the same...Howard was worth the 6k for me too...now they need to bring my third favorite character(Howard is #2), Groo the Wanderer...lol
Sadly, my favorite character is underwhelming in game sense for SNAP, but Stephen Strange is here.

the other "banger" card from the Nebula month was Howard the Duck XD
The fifth card Cozy can't remember is probably Kitty Pride, there was a lot of talk because she directly countered Nebula right after Nebula got released.
Nah, she came out in January, but her rework came back around may I think.
My biggest beef with Nocturne is how brutally I got roasted in her spotlight caches! My first pull was the random series 4/5 card... which turned into Caiera... which turned into 1000 tokens, because I already had her. Oof! I didn't even get the cool variant!
Tell me about it, the past two cards that I decided to go for cost me 8 keys! Yet, my friend has pulled the new card first go three times in a row. It pisses me off because we roughly only get a key per week. Then it gives you a random card you already have or a variant you don’t want!
Did Cozy upload on his side too? I love watching both videos back to back

We need an integrated deck tracker. Mobile players are at a huge disadvantage

It‘s a nice to have. It‘s never necessary. I played high competitive MTG Arena without a deck tracked and I hit infinity in snap also without a deck tracker.
I see the disadvantage but missing on a tracker maybe be the reason for 1 loss in 30 games.
@@meinfreundfranzThese trackers are soo good now they will track your opponents cards in conquest and will even guess the likely deck they are playing until all their cards are revealed. Thats a big advantage mobile players dont have.
Yeah most times the tracker doesn't pick up what deck they are playing and in conquest if you can't figure it out after 2 rounds, probably uninstall. It's nice but it's not necessary and if you want to actually be good you wouldn't rely on an addon to win.

Mailbag: Leech is obviously a frustrating card. How would you both feel if he got reworked to a 1/1 "On reveal: Remove the abilities of the next card your opponent draws"?

Leech is a card made for hating it. All card games need these type of cards. But not like this strong.
Cozy probably will love this. I’ve been tearing things up with a shuri deck that runs blink and….AERO!!! Aero has actually been incredible to blink out shuri into since players tend to avoid the shuri lane so pulling their 5 play into that huge shuri location is very nice.

Idea with white widow is to play her in the shuri location into aero Hopfully to lock them out of that location. Doesn’t happen a ton as usually I prefer to play red skull/vision/blink but if blink pulls aero it’s amazing. Of course I do play aero into shuri alone depending on board space especially if they have the widow kiss and I can lock up that location. Adds and extra layer of defense against Shang chi

I love this game so much but to me the biggest problem right now is the economy, specially the amount of credits we get every week, you just need to do the simple math and you'll see that we have a problem. Every week we get enough to get one spotlight key, and every month we get 4 to 5 keys and every season we get 4 to 5 new cards, not counting with the battle pass card. To guarantee that you get the new card you gotta have 4 keys, so the problem is, if you want one of the new cards you gotta skip an entire month to guarantee that you can get it, yes you can be lucky and get it in the first box but it's random. So if you want to get more than one card you gotta gamble your keys and risk not getting any of the new cards. Since we get less tokens now, you can't buy the new cards with a good frequency and you can't get more than one new card if you didn't save your keys or you are lucky enough to get it early.
Agreed. I'm surprised the daily mission refresh doesn't happen sooner to at least reward players who are willing to sink more time into the game and earn those tokens. I like the spotlight cache system as an idea but currently its not really sustainable to just depend on the existing token sources for new cards.
Master Blaster is clearly a Magik Wong Mystique Onslaught Gambit deck where you delete their board. Also has Master Mold for some reason.

For the weekend challenges I put blink in a dark hawk deck with no 4 costs. Switching rockslide/black widow for a 5 or 6 drop was great.

Made a Blink Darkhawk deck (also before it was cool, js) with Jubilee instead of Leech and Blink has made it crazy. Jubilee can grab Nocturne or DH or anything and it’s fine. Blink turns her into Doom or Magneto and turn six just becomes so flexible. Nocturne is a GREAT card that i think has gotten overshadowed by Blink just a bit and people are sleeping.
I guarantee you didn't make it before it was cool. KM best mentioned this way before the card came out :))

Leech into Ultron has been my favorite interaction
I am a fully f2p player, and the cards that I desperately need to play 8/10 meta decks since 2024 are hope summers, nebula, and ms marvel. I feel lucky enough to own quite a lot of series 5 cards that had dominated the meta from launch, like high evo, and red hulk.
My greatest criticism of series 5 cards are that if the card is a tech (like the video mentioned!), or is too versatile, it is a bad deicision to put them in series 5, hope summers is seen in just about every "good" meta deck that it is the definition of a versatile card. My mental to play the game was probably lowest when I couldnt play cerebro 3 or lockdown because I didnt own Jeff and everyone else did, this feeling is in summers, corvus, 6/2 alioth, etc.
TLDR: Dont leave (too) versatile cards in series 5 for too long, like Cozy and Alex said about Mobius, its not fun for f2p
alex really dug the master blaster thing from last week, i think he also used it as nick on marvel rivals haha
Mailbag Question: Do you think it would be a reasonable buff for War Machine to open up locations so not only can you play cards anywhere but cards can be added anywhere for your side? Like being able to add White Tiger’s Tiger to a Miniaturized Lab in between turns 3-5 or Prof. X location
Huge thumbs up and respect to you both for raising the monetization of this game , i pay every month for the season pass but nothing else . Everytime they announce a new feature i cant get pumped about it as all i can think is how much gold will they want for this feature, so again huge thank you ..

The best part about Blink is you feel like you have more control over your deck, one of my absolute favorite play is Playing Shuri then dropping Blink onto Shuri and having an instant lockdown with Pro X
Mailbag for next week! What is one Marvel character that isn't in the game that'd you LOVE to see added? Mine is Prowler, for example!
Snapchat mailbag: Would you want there to be a single balance patch that buffs all of the weak underperforming cards? Or would it be too much of a meta shakeup to have that many buffs? Personally I would love to see Aero become a 6-6 that moves all unrevealed cards to her location.
MAILBAG: Sometimes when I'm watching Cozy's half of the Snap Chat I think of a good mailbag question, and I've been tempted to go post it in the comments there. If I did that, would it get seen and possibly included in the mailbag, or do you only look at comments on Alex's half when assembling the mailbag?
what do you guys think about archetype defining cards like anihillus, loki, thanos and so on, should they stay at 5 or drop to 4 (or maybe 3)?

I hope they can be more specific with the series drop dates because I don't have the tokens to be spending on every single card that comes out I have to pick my poison and save. And this happened late last year where I saved to get lady deathstrike and then a couple months later they dropped her to series 4 from series 5....so now I'm going to be saving every ounce of collectors tokens until the series drop cause honestly I don't want to be scammed and cheated like that again. Series drops need to happen more frequent especially with new cards coming out every month it's too much when everything is series 5
Probably too simplistic, but I'd be on board with series drops happening merely by time. Perhaps drop from 5 to 4 after 6 months, and 4 to 3 after 12. (Perhaps rounding a hair to whenever a patch happens).
Arguments could be made for drops happening after a bit longer like 9 and 18 months, respectively, if drops are happening too often.
There is ONE rule for series drops: if I own the card it will get dropped if I dont then no way
Mine is if I paid 6k tokens it will get nerfed...lol
Since you do the slide in on your videos, you should do it on your snap chat videos, but come in from the other direction for the one going on Cozy's channel.

Which card u think is better: Canonball or Red Guardian? I'm very doubtfull, like them both
I retreat turn one if its a discard deck. It's just boring to play against. It pretty much plays its self with minimal input from it's opponent unless your deck it designed to combat it specifically or you just get lucky. Then again I retreat before the third flip probably 50% of the time. I don't play bs locations. I retreat 5/10 but hit 4 and 8 cube wins about 3 out of 10. Over half the games I actually finish. If I retreat 5 times in a row, only a few minutes have passed.

I really wanted Nocturne out of the spotlight cache because I love her type of ability, I ended up getting selene and lady deathstrike from the cache...I ended up just spending 6k tokens on Nocturne.

Raise your hand if you have been crushing a game then your Nocturne changed a location to Bar With No Name…. (Only once for me, but it happened).
series drops should be on a set cadence from when they release and easy to predict. That way there is no correlation to any stigmas. Everything releases as series 5 and drops to 4 and then 3 on x timeline. Easy. idk why they went away from this other than for greed.
this would help with the spotlight repeats also. Something like every card gets 2 series 5 spotlights and 1 series 4 spotlight before rotating to series 3. Perpetually stuck cards feel terrible always coming up in caches.
MAILBAG: Second Dinner has finally done it. They’re buffing Captain America, Angel, Uatu, and M’Baku. But you need to delete 1 card at each cost from the game? Which ones have got to go?
According to Hoogland, drops are coming either the end of May or June and we'll hear by the middle of the month if they are happening.
I wouldn't give my hopes up too much. Even if they happen, they're only going to drop bad cards like they did last time. We're not getting Jeffs, we're getting Howards. It's legitimately hard for me to be excited about Series drops anymore now that we know the only cards we'll get are the unplayables.
@michaelbesser5348 The oldest card I don't have is Martyr. If a drop happens, I really think they'll drop her to 3. We're already seeing December and January cards return in spotlight caches and I doubt SD would commission any for Martyr. I just miss getting a free card every month.
@@Exmachina223 I do think they're likely to drop Martyr to series 3, considering Martyr has never had a Spotlight week since her debut in November.
Still, though, the point stands that we're definitely not getting good cards, so it's hard to be too excited about only getting bad stuff.
What happened to the character mastery idea!? I would be so stoked to play the game if there was a super tough goal to achieve for each card.
I miss the old series drops. They made sense and you had a system that players were happy with. Now they just do whatever they want and players are pissed about it. There are a bunch of cards that should have already been S3. They've been in S4/S5 hell for a long time now. Jean Grey should be a S3 by now.

I think you guys missed the boat a bit. Within the top 10 the synergy is only blink and the rest whats being played are good cards. Within those good cards is Nocturne.

Red Guardian is my favourite card. IMO Red Guardian is a must have and wayyyy better than Nocturne. Not a fair comparison at all! I put RG in all my decks 😂
Mailbag: your thoughts on season pass price adjustments for players in countries like Brazil, india, etc.
Is there a major variance? Isnt it whatever the local equivalent of USD 10 is?

The drops need to match SD pattern and greed. Daken, Mirage and Kitty Pride 4 to 3. Selene, Nebula, Silk and X-23 5 to 4. I think July and December only drops this year.
What does the devil play?
All those broken cards that haven't been released yet, plus Mephisto.
