I think USAgent is massively underrated in junk decks, I’ve been using a junk USAgent deck and I’m making my way to infinite rank pretty quickly using that deck. The Void and Hobgoblin allow you to play him to a lane and practically win it by himself because either they have to play a bunch of low costs or he gets even more value with a high cost card that they have to devote to an otherwise lost lane. I like him a lot and hold out hope that he can get a buff so more people can see how he’s not too bad
@@stephenbradford8524 plug the opponent’s lanes with high cost low power cards to get hella value from an otherwise unassuming card is my new favourite thing, I went like 10-2 last night with my version of this deck. White Widow only makes it better so I’m hyped for that
I have an idea for cerebro and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Cerebro should buff cards with the highest BASE power. It would change some interactions between cards like blue marvel in C2, but significantly help how cerebro functions in specific locations. They could also add a card that has the effect “on reveal: destroy your cards here with greater than 0 power.” This could help with locations like x mansion and monster island, but not destroy the green goblin your opponent sent over.
Card idea regarding extra energy! Ongoing: neither player's energy can exceed the current round # (Idk how best to word it) So they can't ramp at all, but if there's a Limbo both players still get 7 energy on turn 7

I kinda liked where cozy was going with this. I think it'd be cool if there was a card that let you steal your opponent's unused energy. Probably would've made more sense for Dracula than his current ability.
I did a lot of testing with US Agent and the only archetype that I found worked well with him was a toxic Sera Control. I have about a 60% winrate out of 20 something games. It is 100% an awkward card to play with, but I think he is useable in a competitive manner. This testing was done in my push from 93 to infinite and I'm at 4k+ collection level.
Mailbag: What you think about the idea of add .5 power to the game (as a buff not probably a solid starting number) . It seems the difference of +1 power or +2 can make or break some cards. So why not meet in the middle. Random example is Angela gaining 1.5 power instead of 1 power or 2 and werewolf by night 1.5 instead of 2 and lower his cost back . Or dark hawk/blob/knull gets .5 power per _______. Not saying all of these need that but it's an example of balancing some of these cards that literally 1 power means the difference between a underperformed card, and a broken card.
Mailbag: What do you guys think about a playground type mode. Like trying to learn a deck or just messing around to get a ton of power or even choosing certain locations.

Red hulk just feels like a better blob now. Despite it giving the info of the power scaling to the opponent, its still a bigger 6 stat stick then most other 6 drops. Agatha 14 with jank builds, Orka by himself is 16 power, and destroyer at 16. Its going to trigger often twice because some decks pass t1 or have mana leftover on turns
I love havoc. Play him turn 5 on a magic game and it's perfect. Been using him a lot this season as well, with zemo being everywhere he destroys most of their game plan when he locks them into 3 energy per turn.

So in addition to being an avid Marvel Snap player (I've bought every season pass since Black Panther), I am also an avid baseball card collector; the Snap Chat is actually one of my go-to listening options when I'm organizing my collection. So my question is: what physical or digital card games did you guys play before Marvel Snap? So you still play any of them? And, are either of you collectors of any sort?
Deck-based matchmaking is just a stupid concept but I don't see how anyone can argue that Conquest location batching is not true. There's just no way that rare locations would come up in every single round. Kamar-Taj in round 1? You betcher ass it'll be in the next 5 rounds, too.
I actually thought location batching was intended with how often it happens lmao. Sometimes i just retreat when i get a Destroy opponent in round 1 with deaths domain since I know it'll come back again 2 rounds from now
Since you asked, I think there’s something to the location the makes draw random cards every time I’m trying out a new deck. It happens every damn time.
As for Cerebro, I’d just make it so that its buff is for the most common power you have. That way you could run some better tech cards and Monster Island and the like won’t ruin you.
What are you thoughts on Mill decks? With SD protecting card draw as much as they do, there’s a strange irony in an entire archetype designed to delete your opponent’s deck within a few turns. I think there’s some easy reworks (such as Yondu afflicting negative power to the lowest power card) that could lesson the toxicity of the archetype.
I remember a meta time when Shang was not being seen that much, around the silkysmove meta where even croossbones at 4/8 was played in. That says, Shang is a necessity to put in check to all tall decks.
The trouble became that those midrange Shang dodging decks were too small to beat the ever increasing beefy dudes of Thanos, Hela etc. At least after original Elsa was nerfed.

I mean, the whole point of the list is generic cards, that are just great by themselves, and Annihilus does nothing by himself, he needs other cards to be good, so he is an archetype card. Alex, other than not sleeping, how do you balance your Snap life and the rest of your life? Like how are you even home on Tuesdays for card release? Does school get out early enough you get to run home?
I have a question: What do you guys think about having a side deck in conquest? (Side deck, like in yugioh, allows you to have a small pool of extra cards that you can switch out in the event that it will help you if you're being hard countered. In yugioh, it's 15 cards.) So for snap, how would you feel about, let's say, a 3-5 card side deck for conquest mode? So that you could switch out tech cards

Snap Chat Mailbag: Choose 1 Waffles or Pancakes and why? I prefer pancakes only cause growing up my family never had waffles outside of going to a restaurant. We didn’t own a waffle maker. It’s one of those you think people are rich if they have an ice cube maker/water dispenser in the fridge, etc.
The Shang chi "nerf" wasn't a nerf. When they changed him they bumped a lot of others to still be able to get hit by him so there wasn't actually a change. They need to increase his cost or something to actually get his pay rate down. 5 cost 3 power and hits 12 plus power or something. So many decks you have to make chi proof even though they aren't shitting out power like an Evo hulk, red hulk, ect.
@@Trocify225 not really. The biggest cards I play are maybe sentry or magneto in certain decks. I'm guessing you're someone that can only win with chi though.
@antoniogomez3353 🤣 🤣 🤣 man, people get upset when talking about changing their only win condition. 10 power cards aren't an issue for a decent deck. It's the red hulks, Evo hulks, and infinauts. That's the only time chi should have to be used. Otherwise, you need to tweak your deck.
If any other card had the cube rate and meta share like chi, it would be nerfed into the ground. He's a crutch that people rely on to often. If he was nerfed other cards would get more play, take his place, and mix up the meta more. Valk is a great counter for these massive cards that get dropped. Use goose and mobious to prevent these big cards from being dropped. There are other options. Just use your head. It's time he was nerfed. Literally the most over played card.

Mailbag: what can we do for move 😭 could kraven be ongoing +2 for every card that moved this game or a knull type of card that has combined power of all cards moved this game? Maybe a new card that’s like heimdall but to the right? “Moves the cards at this location one location to the right”. Move is my favorite archetype and regardless I have the most fun playing it every season (even tho it’s painful at times). Low key sandman 5 heimdall 6 has been an awesome play recently 🤯

Thinking about that las topic with Cerebro rework, what if it buffed cards with the same base power?? Locations would affect him greatly and it would open the floor to multiple combinations. Yes, it would affect C-3 but other than that I feel it would work wonders
Mailbag: If you could change the reserve cache what would you do to make it better?! I’m level 23,421 and have been collection complete every card since SnowGuard was released. I feel there is no reason to care about opening them.

Alex this is a question for the Snap Chat mailbag…Do you and Cozy feel or think its fair that Mobius affects Negative impacted cards as Mr Negatives text actually does NOT talk to MMM as its NOT a cost reduction but inverted same as Pixie? I feel its unfair given how they worded Lokis text to NOT work with Collector as this is very similar because of Negatives text which does NOT say cost less!
Mailbag!!! What if we reworked warpath, orca, and Namor to lose power when another card is played there so they have this lizard style text to work with luke cage.
Great video! As a new player I love the information! I have a question someone fill me in. I started played one day before the last season ended and I had no idea hope summer was locked to the battle pass I would have bought it. Do battle pass locked cards ever become available again?
I didn't think Anni would be near top 5 because he needs his package, he's not good standalone. I think about it as "what cards do I most want to see in a District X game". I figured your top 5 would be in some order Red Hulk, Hope, Shang, Jeff and Dr Doom with an outside chance of Killmonger. Ms Marvel and Angela definitely should be in top 10. I wouldn't have Iron Lad which is definitely deck dependent, or Magneto which is good but can still backfire and is mostly highly played at the moment because it is good to bring back with Hela.
They nerf Jeff's power or ability than we shall protest. He's 90% of the community favorite cards period not on affect, power, just his cuteness is to powerful to not be the mascot for the game
What y'all think about Shang chi being a 5/3? That way he's still doing the same toxic action, just not as polarizing in the sense that it can be played with other cards on turn 6. I straight up hated the card forever but at 5 cost it really makes the player think about if its worth playing or not. 5 cost tech cards are just the perfect awkward moment such powerful effects.
#mailbag Hello Alex and Cozy! Some time ago you talked about is the opponent search rigged or not. Here's my experience in conquest: I'm playing with phoenix force deck - my opponent on mill(counter deck). I left, picked surfer deck next - my opponent has Galactus deck(also counter). I left after 2 games. Took Loki next, opponent - destroy, deck that you mostly don't wanna Loki cards from. That was 3 deck changes in a row, and every time i got the most unwinnable situation from the start. That was very frustrating, and it's happening for a while now. Any thoughts what should I do with that? For now I'm just not playing conquest
MAILBAG question, I’m not card complete there’s a few cards I’m missing that I don’t want to use resources on (Howard as as example) when using spotlight light keys and your unlucky enough to get the random card and its one you already own is there a worse feeling? Why can’t you at least get a card you don’t own yes it might suck but it gets people closer to being card complete. What do you think can be improved to get more cards?
MAILBAG: I’d love to hear your thoughts on a card I think could some valuable tech to the move archetype. I recently watched X-men days of future past and saw a character I was not familiar with who is Blink, she can make connecting portals. I was thinking a 1 or 2 cost with an ongoing effect that places portals on the edge of the board allowing movement through them. For example hiemdall could move the cards on the left location through the portal to the right location. What are your thoughts?
I think White Queen should be reversed iron lad, snag the ability of your opponents top card in their deck. Also, I think Psylock should be a 2/2 that gives you +1 energy when your opponent gets +1 energy.
Hey , I was wondering if you guys would make a vid how to build decks according to the season or what cards snappers are using in the season or how players can get around that without having specific cards or build. I find that to be one of the hardest because you will have a good deck and then things switch up for the cards snap puts out or people will immediately go to this combo or another deck and then it's like how can you beat those cards. I've looked up meta information, deck builds , turn strategy and I build a great deck and boom your up from 69 to 86 on rank then marvel snap changes the cards, people adjust and then your back down to 72 because people are using cards that you can't counter like this season anniahlus and it's combos, zemo. Some seasons ago it was Zola or etc and then locations play a factor as well. People say well just have fun. I wouldn't be playing the game if I didn't have fun or like it but losing over and over is never fun or just retreating soon as somebody has something you can't counter gets old . You still lose cubes and rank when retreating, it's just not as much if you continue the game till it's over which is turn 6 or sometimes 7

Best way to use USAgent is with Doc Oc. You always pull Shang and another 4-6 drop so he is at least 6 power and protects your 10 power play.

Everytime I get beat or win with some tricky magneto shenanigans, I just marvel at how great his design is.

Proving ground is almost a "free" playground, but I like the idea of choosing locations. Each player picks one and third is random maybe.

For the ramp counter. It could be an ongoing effect that you have the same energy as your opponent at the start of each turn or something similar.

USAgent as a 3/5 (or a 3/4?) in Surfer would be cracked. That turn 6 Sera swing would be awesome with perfect information

The Shang chi "nerf" wasn't a nerf. When they changed him they bumped a lot of others to still be able to get hit by him so there wasn't actually a change. They need to increase his cost or something to actually get his pay rate down. 5 cost 3 power and hits 12 plus power or something. So many decks you have to make chi proof even though they aren't shitting out power like an Evo hulk, red hulk, ect.
This sounds like I just wanna play big cards without any risk tbh
@@Trocify225 not really. The biggest cards I play are maybe sentry or magneto in certain decks. I'm guessing you're someone that can only win with chi though.

@antoniogomez3353 🤣 🤣 🤣 man, people get upset when talking about changing their only win condition. 10 power cards aren't an issue for a decent deck. It's the red hulks, Evo hulks, and infinauts. That's the only time chi should have to be used. Otherwise, you need to tweak your deck.
If any other card had the cube rate and meta share like chi, it would be nerfed into the ground. He's a crutch that people rely on to often. If he was nerfed other cards would get more play, take his place, and mix up the meta more. Valk is a great counter for these massive cards that get dropped. Use goose and mobious to prevent these big cards from being dropped. There are other options. Just use your head. It's time he was nerfed. Literally the most over played card.

Mailbag: what can we do for move 😭 could kraven be ongoing +2 for every card that moved this game or a knull type of card that has combined power of all cards moved this game? Maybe a new card that’s like heimdall but to the right? “Moves the cards at this location one location to the right”.
Move is my favorite archetype and regardless I have the most fun playing it every season (even tho it’s painful at times). Low key sandman 5 heimdall 6 has been an awesome play recently 🤯

Locations would affect him greatly and it would open the floor to multiple combinations. Yes, it would affect C-3 but other than that I feel it would work wonders

Alex this is a question for the Snap Chat mailbag…Do you and Cozy feel or think its fair that Mobius affects Negative impacted cards as Mr Negatives text actually does NOT talk to MMM as its NOT a cost reduction but inverted same as Pixie? I feel its unfair given how they worded Lokis text to NOT work with Collector as this is very similar because of Negatives text which does NOT say cost less!

I figured your top 5 would be in some order Red Hulk, Hope, Shang, Jeff and Dr Doom with an outside chance of Killmonger.
Ms Marvel and Angela definitely should be in top 10. I wouldn't have Iron Lad which is definitely deck dependent, or Magneto which is good but can still backfire and is mostly highly played at the moment because it is good to bring back with Hela.
They nerf Jeff's power or ability than we shall protest. He's 90% of the community favorite cards period not on affect, power, just his cuteness is to powerful to not be the mascot for the game

Annihilus is one of the cards that make it hard to believe there is not decl based matchmaking. I hardly see it, until I play it🤷
What y'all think about Shang chi being a 5/3? That way he's still doing the same toxic action, just not as polarizing in the sense that it can be played with other cards on turn 6. I straight up hated the card forever but at 5 cost it really makes the player think about if its worth playing or not. 5 cost tech cards are just the perfect awkward moment such powerful effects.
Question for the mailbag: do you think we’ll ever see any cards that let you mulligan your hand? Or do you think it’s too broken for a 12 card game?
Shang chi is pretty much at minimum a 4 cost 13 power card. It’s time to bump him up to 5 cost.
#mailbag Hello Alex and Cozy! Some time ago you talked about is the opponent search rigged or not. Here's my experience in conquest: I'm playing with phoenix force deck - my opponent on mill(counter deck). I left, picked surfer deck next - my opponent has Galactus deck(also counter). I left after 2 games. Took Loki next, opponent - destroy, deck that you mostly don't wanna Loki cards from. That was 3 deck changes in a row, and every time i got the most unwinnable situation from the start. That was very frustrating, and it's happening for a while now. Any thoughts what should I do with that? For now I'm just not playing conquest
MAILBAG question, I’m not card complete there’s a few cards I’m missing that I don’t want to use resources on (Howard as as example) when using spotlight light keys and your unlucky enough to get the random card and its one you already own is there a worse feeling? Why can’t you at least get a card you don’t own yes it might suck but it gets people closer to being card complete. What do you think can be improved to get more cards?

MAILBAG: I’d love to hear your thoughts on a card I think could some valuable tech to the move archetype. I recently watched X-men days of future past and saw a character I was not familiar with who is Blink, she can make connecting portals. I was thinking a 1 or 2 cost with an ongoing effect that places portals on the edge of the board allowing movement through them. For example hiemdall could move the cards on the left location through the portal to the right location. What are your thoughts?
I think White Queen should be reversed iron lad, snag the ability of your opponents top card in their deck. Also, I think Psylock should be a 2/2 that gives you +1 energy when your opponent gets +1 energy.
My comfort deck is this toxic deck but I’m always tryna go for the onslaught mystique wong hazmat 💀
Hey , I was wondering if you guys would make a vid how to build decks according to the season or what cards snappers are using in the season or how players can get around that without having specific cards or build. I find that to be one of the hardest because you will have a good deck and then things switch up for the cards snap puts out or people will immediately go to this combo or another deck and then it's like how can you beat those cards. I've looked up meta information, deck builds , turn strategy and I build a great deck and boom your up from 69 to 86 on rank then marvel snap changes the cards, people adjust and then your back down to 72 because people are using cards that you can't counter like this season anniahlus and it's combos, zemo. Some seasons ago it was Zola or etc and then locations play a factor as well. People say well just have fun. I wouldn't be playing the game if I didn't have fun or like it but losing over and over is never fun or just retreating soon as somebody has something you can't counter gets old . You still lose cubes and rank when retreating, it's just not as much if you continue the game till it's over which is turn 6 or sometimes 7
