    Got this for $30 bucks unmarked clearance at Walmart. I watch a 2 year old full time...and my kitchen floor is constantly covered in crumbs and toddler meal time mess! This makes cleaning up so much easier!

      Lucky find!! I need to buy one for my college-aged son, they never mop and this would be our best chance. I can't let go of mine or I'd give it to him! It's perfect to do my hard wood stairs.

    So appreciate this review. With no kids or pets in the house and 800 square feet of tile to clean, this should do the trick. Assuming 1 pad and "X" ounces of solution per cleaning, should run less than $1.50 per cleaning.
    Thank you Janet! 👍

      You’re welcome! I’ve kept mine even though I have a Tineco vacuum mop that has a reusable roller and is more automatic. This one is perfect for smaller jobs and stairs!

    I almost picked this up at Kohls today but I hesitated and am glad I did. I think this looks ok for some applications and I love my Shark navigator but your review showed me what I was unsure of (have to use the vacuum and the wet separate and needs special disposable pads). Thanks for your review it was very helpful.

    Great video. I got mine from Ollie’s discount store for $30. Came with 10 pads and a bottle of solution. So far works great for my studio department. I will say before you start to clean with tool. Do a quick spot clean sweep for big items and corners for best results. Thank for your video!

    Years ago I bought a swiffer vac so I can see why someone would want this if they’re a swiffer user. Because it does eliminate that pile of stuff you are pushing around when you use the swiffer. But I never felt like the swiffer got my floors clean enough and I hated all the trash it created so I ended up abandoning it for a Norwex mop.
    I bought the Tineco based on your review and I love it for my weekly mopping, but I still use the Norwex for quick daily sweeps or cleanups.

    I actually like that I can do one or the other. There are times when I don't need to mop and just want to quickly pick up crumbs and debris (maybe I am just hoping I can get out of needing to look for a new vacuum 😝). I don't like that I need to buy disposable pads BUT someone on the internet has likely figured out a hack for that!

    I’ve got 2 dogs. One is messier than the other. I’ve got water and dog hair on kitchen floor. Yes, mixed together. Not sure what you would use first. That’s why I have to bend over with a piece of paper towel. It does get rough bending over or kneeling as it can get difficult for me (personally speaking), to get back up. Balance is also tough while doing this. That’s why I need something like this and cordless as well.

  • @Chicago48
    @Chicago48 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Would this be considered a replacement for the Swiffer Wetmop? Because I really don't want to use the Swiffer anymore. Right now I have three floor cleaners (too much!) The Shark steamer for hard floor, Bona mop and Swiffer. I want just ONE cleaner.
    How long does the Shark charge last? The hesitancy I have is the Shark is proprietory: use their cleaner and their disposable pads. And I have to give it to Swiffer, you mop and sweep at the same time, but it's cheap.

    • @Chicago48

      Is there a "generic" pad? Usually the stores have private labels for the name brands.

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It only lasts about 15 minutes, so it's for quick jobs. I use it to get cat hair off our wood stairs, it's the perfect size. For what you need, a vacuum mop is the best. It has a reusable roller. It costs more up front but I LOVE IT. amzn.to/3FiOGqm it replaced our Shark steamer and spin mop.

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you can’t vacuum without it. There’s a chamber at the front where it collects what you vacuum up.

  • @mariat2507
    @mariat2507 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How do you release the dirt from the chamber? Is there even a dirt chamber?

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there's a chamber under the mop pad that holds the dirt. It's disposable. So when it's full you replace it with a new mop head refill.

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe

      Rather than putting the cord into the back of the mop with some sort of plug in to attach it, there's a magnet that sticks on. It's easy. I should've shown it, thanks for your comment.

    Which tineco do you recommend

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      amzn.to/3kUU7Ez (here's the Tineco page with all of them on it, commissioned link).
      It depends on features and budget, but here's a general outline. Have a small floor and on a budget? The roller on the Ifloor is smallest and it's the most basic model.
      The middle one, the iFloor 3 is just like S3 (but it's white, instead of black) but it doesn't have an app or smart features like telling you when it's time to clean the tank or automatically applying more water when it senses a bigger mess. It has a more advanced display instead of just indicator lights.
      I have the S3 and love it because I just start cleaning and it doesn't work or I'm out of water. It tells me to clean the dirty water tank or add more clean water. I don't have to notice and I'm usually busy and like that it tells me. Some people will find that annoying. You can shut it off. It also conserves power by adjusting to the floor. Of course you pay more for this model.
      I haven't tried their newest one but hope to. I don't want to buy another one. But I might anyway to do a review and know all of them.

  • @osminvalle9445
    @osminvalle9445 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The cleaning time is too short. I would love it if it was 1 hour of cleaning time.

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a drawback of all of them however unless you have a large home with lots of hard flooring, it’s more than enough time. It’s not continuous for all that time. I’m pretty sure we’ll see the times improve though.

Doesn't make as much of a sound because it's made from more dense material. Lasts longer. It's white and doesn't leave that gray dust behind. I LOVE IT amzn.to/3ndDIfs
