Do you mean the cons of anything portable vs. its corded version? It's about convenience. Your time is money, and the amount of time you save compared to the costs you just mentioned is fractional to me. Maybe they aren't to you; you just value your time less than mine.
I went to Best Buy today to purchase my s5 extreme for $349. Waiting on it to fully charge before we put it through it's paces. Thanks for your reviews and helping me decide on my next floor cleaner.
My s3 died on me after 2years ,and tineco refused to help and they don't even have repair centers in Canada ,after looking into it turns out it's very comon issue where the moisture kills the motor...I'm curious if s5 have same issue
Typical ChiNa manufacturers’ attitude: you pray after you paid 😂 and their QC is awesome as the product failed to work right after the warranty is over.
I have an s3 and an s5. I find that their customer service is helpful, but I have had to have parts replaced on both machines during the warranty period. Now the warranty is up on the s5, and it's giving a dirty water tank full alarm constantly AGAIN, so we can't use it. I've decided to look into less expensive options. $500 for two years is just not good enough for me. I clean it thoroughly after every use and don't mind that, but I need it to last or be less expensive.
Thanks for all your work. Love it… also SUGGESTIONG…I’d love to see a grid of where each one failed on the key elements. You have done so much work so having a visual to help us understand and trust your reasoning.
I am surprised you didn't include Bissell HF3. I went with Bissell mainly due to cleaning solution is widely available and cheaper than Tineco cleaning solution.
I Prefer the Bissells, the fact that i can dispense the water manually whenever i want, and it works on rugs so i can dry vacuum it is the reason why i got it Unlike Tinecos where its designed for hard floors only. Also in my country, the Crosswave is waaay much cheaper, Tinecos are very expensive.
hello, I'm interested in which of these two models is better and which one you recommend before I buy if the price is the same Tineco ifloor 5 or Tineco Floor ONE S3 thx so much for good video ;)
Im stuck bw Shark HydroVac and Tineco 7 Ive tried both. With Tineco i love the edge to edge and self cleaning :/ Shark has a longer run time And price for the shark on black friday is great!
The problem with batteries is they eventually will need replacing so its always a good idea to check on the replacement battery prices because some are way overpriced
Bissel crosswave is the best hydrsteam has the best suction and sanitizes the only down fall with the hydrosteam is it doesn't pick up large items easily
I just received Tineco 3, self cleaning stopped every minute, during mopping it also stopped saying mop is detangled, but it wasnt. Clean water tank very small. Very disappointed. Help me to choose: water tank needs to be big, long lasting battery
I hated cleaning my shark and eventually threw it away because of mold. I'm surprised no one talks about the horrible nasty cleaning chamber. The food catching chamber has crooks and crevices that you literally need a scrub brush or 2 to clean. It was just gross.
Does anyone have suggestions for my particular case? I am chronically ill due to CIRS (mold/chemical sensitivities) and I live in an apartment with only tile floor (ceramic). It's important for me to keep the floors clean but traditional mopping is too difficult, so these wet vacs seem perfect! I have two concerns though: All of these seem to require a cleaning solution and I cannot be exposed to fragrance/many chemicals. Can a different natural solution be substituted without harming these wet vacs? Second, I worry about how well the self-cleaning works. Do the pads or water tanks have a tendency to grow mold quickly? I cannot handle mold and would react quickly. If anyone has any experience with these issues, I'd love the feedback, as I'm trying to pre-plan my holiday shopping.
Super helpful video. Have you compared these with the spin style steamers. We have textured vinyl floor and have trouble getting in texture crevices. Basic steam mops don't work very good on the this type of vinyl. We also have tile in bathrooms. Which do you think would be better?
That is the two I am desperately trying to decide between the Bissel Omniforce Edge and the S6 Stretch. I do know the Bissel would probably be much more reliable with a better warranty. I have heard Tineco doesn’t like to actually fix issues even if you have a warranty. The s6 Stretch looks like it overall cleans better and cleans itself better.
@@daben1074 I watched a review from The French Glow and the Bissell did very well on rugs especially. If the Bissell came with the drying option it would be a no-brainer. I live in a cold climate so laundry can take 3 days to dry inside…. I want a vacuum mop that’s ready when I need it! Although the Bissell has an Edge Professional version that comes with two rollers so I guess that’s a good option.
aloha and mahalo for taking the time to do the work of testing and comparing vacuum brands. Suggestion.. not only for just pet messes, but also for humans especially the elderly, plus dropping food on carpets at the dinner table and incontenance in the bed, because we all need this at some point talk about accidents and its not mentioned. It would be a better selling point, or one more selling point might pass this along to the makers. Caretakers dream they could call it.. TM or Nurses Dream! Also some have linoleum kitchen floors. I want to know - do the carpet w cleaning solution machines also work as a regular vacuum for weekly cleaning without having to spot remove? and which models are both cleaning w solution and just regular vacuuming + good for hard wood plus linoleum floors. all in one .... how about good for mattresses, because how do you wash a mattress? they dont fit in the washing machine. lol... could also show cleaning stains on mattresses for female time of the month stains...the makers should show blood removal machines with the power and solutions to get out set in stains like those that have been there for years. thx again. aloha
Benefits of corded models are no run-time limits, no battery failures in 3-5 years, and they cost less than the cordless models.

Glad to help.
I took back my Shark twice both times it stop working after 3 months. I have the Tineco now and love it.
What tineco did you get my shark took a poo too
I have a crosswave. I love it! The edge cleaning is life.
Wait for the 2 yrs life limit.
How well does it really do on dry stuff I wish you could do a little bit more of the dry stuff.
The Shark Htdrovac (not XL) was just on sale for $99.00. No brainer to try. Did great. No regrets vs. the price.
you're a lifesaver and you're awesome man 👍
Thanks for the run down on all these machines!
You're welcome

Tineco dies after 3 to 6 months of use and the customer support is a joke. It is an incredible machine while it works though.
Same here mine died have 2 years and they told me there was nothing they could do as it was out of warranty and they offered no help
Typical ChiNa manufacturers’ attitude: you pray after you paid 😂 and their QC is awesome as the product failed to work right after the warranty is over.
I won't buy Tineco for the same reason

Great point!
@@JustADadIoiikkk,
It's very important to me that at least one side of the brush goes all the way to the edge. So, only S5...
I am surprised you didn't include Bissell HF3. I went with Bissell mainly due to cleaning solution is widely available and cheaper than Tineco cleaning solution.
I tried HF2 from Walmart and just did not like it.
Oh. I love mine. I looked at the other models but they seemed not as easy to clean.

thx so much for good video ;)
Can you please compare the eureka and the the hydro shark please
Great review!
Glad you think so!
the shark hydrovac is new (ish) it’s only been around about a year.
Hydrovac is pretty new it came out like fall 2022
Im stuck bw Shark HydroVac and Tineco 7

Cual es la mejor marca ? De todas
So if I buy the s3 or s5 how long does the batteries last? Not before recharge but how many years? Thanks for the review top notch
The problem with batteries is they eventually will need replacing so its always a good idea to check on the replacement battery prices because some are way overpriced
1 to 2 yes. Two time buyer.
Bissel crosswave is the best hydrsteam has the best suction and sanitizes the only down fall with the hydrosteam is it doesn't pick up large items easily

What about the Stretch S6? Would you pick that over the S5?
s5

Are these floor cleaners better for mopping purposes or can they replace dry vacuuming? I deal with a lot of pet hair and scattered litter.
No, if you have pet hair around you’ll still need to vacuum the hair up first. These really replace mopping
Have you done any reviews on the Tineco floorwasher series? Not sure on the differences between a Floorwasher series 5 and a S5 pro.
Or the GoH20 series. Soo many models🤯
Can you do a review on the eufy mach V1 ultra mop?
Can you use the Tineco on area rugs?

Bissell does, it’s the hard floor sanitize.

I want to know what’s best for unsealed laminate wood floors. My whole house has these floors and I can’t find reviews on mop vacs for them.
Bissel crosswave
no Mach 1 Ultra ?
I wish Shark had edge to edge and a better self cleaning:/
Ok you don't like corded vacs, but that's your personal and subjective opinion. Is it good or not at cleaning?
Omg stop with all the damn pop ups!!!
Tineco has the worst customer service ever. Would NEVER buy from them again
Talk too much and say nothing 😢😢😢
