"FINALLY", they fixed that mistake, because my Dark Urge was tired of sitting in the corner alone and crying, eating a box of pistachio ice cream, because Minty broke up with him.
She still talks about Orin dying, I just cut it out, the other conversation about seeing her past self in Orin seems to only be obtainable if minthara got abducted, and it’s been like that for a few months, I never personally got it.
I almost miss my angry wife whom i can immediately kiss after arguing. Maybe enough to unpatch my game sometime. Minth is never fixed it seems, you just pick the bugs you can live with.
I think the ending people like the most is her menzoberranzan one, and i have to admit, it's a pretty cool ending. I personally prefer her baldur's gate ending because she can still scheme and yearn for power, while being in an environment where she can start to heal from her traumas and experience normal social interactions. In my opinion, even if the overthrowing is successful, I don't think the menzoberranzan ending leads to any character growth that is interesting to me, and the game really made me want to take care of her. Ultimately, I think it depends on how you see her character and your own imagination? Taking control of the netherbrain is really cool too, but if it ended up being canon, it change the story in more drastic ways.
@@Kohubohu The Baldur's Gate ending is definitely the best for Minthara and Durge/Tav. She has a better chance of a better life with it. She deserves a better life! On the other hand, it would also be interesting to visit Menzoberranzan with her. But it's definitely a very bad idea. Her family was guaranteed to try to kill her.
no don't worry, nothing major! it's mostly back the way it was (as far as i'm concerned). i know people are talking about some dialogue where she supposedly used to approve of you rejecting bhaal, but i literally never got something like that (i always only got "you wish to consult me) I think they're talking about the dialogue where she reflects about orin (where she says "nobody would remember me"), but afaik, it's been bugged (?) for a while (at least since november) and now she only says it if she got kidnapped. the only thing that seems to be a new bug is that the -3 disapproval when rejecting bhaal doesn't seem to trigger anymore? but maybe they chose to remove it. other than that, it's all good.
the update notes say that her breaking up with durge was a legacy dialogue option that unintentionally got enabled. So it was originally an idea they were considering, but Larian removed it, and then accidentally enabled it with an update. Today's hotfix patched that so it's normal again

Dunno bro, her literally have no reaction to Orin dying is just as bad as the breakup, atleast in breakup she says something about what just happened
