She should have apologized instead and declared an atonement project where the rights of the Palestine People are restored and the refugees and their descendants allowed to return to their land and homes.
Such hutzpah, quoting the Balfour declaration "nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities" and being proud of it. Anyone would think the Nakba never happened.
As a Brit, I find the Balfour Declaration and the colonization and continued ethnic cleansing of Palestine ever since, to be a complete and utter disgrace.
