    Nicely done again. Good story telling. I have been thinking about mounting a gimbal to a car for filming wildlife.

      Thank you so much Benjamin! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, this system really helped us get some dramatic footage for this series! Definitely worth experimenting and trying for sure in my opinion.

    Great video. Nxai is one of my favourite places. Love the lion + elephant shots.

      It was really an amazing place honestly! So much happening, at least for the day we carved out to spend there. It was amazing to see the lions amongst the elephants!

      @@FilmingTheWild yeah. I've been there a few times but only ever for 1 or 2 nights. Would love to go back for longer.

    Excellent video I love it and love your channel! Can't wait to watch the documentary, do you have any idea of when will we be able to watch it and where?

      Thanks! It's been a fun project to work on! I will definitely let everyone know once it's available to watch, but in the meantime, you can also go follow the All Around Project (link in the description above) as they may release teasers here and there!

    Great video, for me the music did not fit the mood of the scenes. I found it distracting.

      Thanks for the feedback David! Music is always so subjective isn't it?

    Hi Alan. I'm hoping you can give me some tips on how you got the Hydra Alien calibrated in the end to get smooth shots off-road. I'm picking up an Alien on Monday and heading to Zimbabwe on Tuesday, so no time to test. Any tips for setting it up?

    • @FilmingTheWild
      @FilmingTheWild  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I honestly can't remember the exact settings we used, but I recall making sure the tension was strong, but yet still allowed for travel to burn off the energy on the axis it adjusted for. I'll ask our Director, Chris Fischer, as he might recall what settings we used etc.

    5:45 wasn't really smooth, so warp stab didn't work.
    Bit the whole BTS is really nice. I can only dream about such projects

      Yea it was one of those cases where I liked the moment, but the footage wasn't ideal given people moving in the vehicle at that moment. Still better than what it was however.

    Whle i enjoyed the footage,I think the "background" music was anything but background and misplaced.
