what a classic even after all these years
To be honest, I think this guy has better aim than a lot of aimbots I've seen people use.
That pistol aim is godlike
Quad in a nuttshell: Mercs for epsilon once at i43 than fights agaisnt Infused. Inufused reaction: DEFOK IS DIS THING M8, I WANT IT I WANT IT GIVE ME QUAD. And they did get quad. :3
we need an australium pistol
just for quad
that tracking though holy shit
:O
Jesus Christ. What demon did you sell your soul to for aim like that, and can I get their number?
IF YOUD COME BACK AT LANS YOU WOULD MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN
The magic starts when the scattergun ends.
-legendary pistol
-australian pistol
-hales own pistol
-quad pistol
His tracking is so amazing, I thought he was aimbotting.
That pistol tracking though, you must be a fucking God at heavy
+De Synthed everyone is a God at heavy
***** You have never seen comp heavies then. just look at a platinum heavy and come back.
De Synthed Actually I have seen a platinum heavy. That class is literally mostly gamesense, which isn't a bad thing. It's a very hard class to play in competitive, but the aim part? Not too much.
tracking and positioning are the main things with heavy, I really hope you aren't telling me you can main heavy with no tracking ability.
De Synthed As a scout main, I can't wrap it around my head how someone couldn't track with heavy. It's easy. But that's because I am (or used to be) a HIGHLY dm-centric scout player. Of course you can't play heavy with no tracking ability, but you are only focusing on the movements of your enemy due to Heavy moving so slow.
This is why I strongly believe gamesense is much more important for a Heavy main, as the ability to track enemies as a Heavy isn't that difficult of a level to achieve.
Of course, being a hitscan player, I can't say the same thing for a projectile player's ability to behold the class, but the tracking isn't rocket science.
When I said "everyone was a God at heavy", yes I was being exaggerative, but of course players like quad (and below him) could track with heavy, but that wouldn't make him a GOD at heavy because the positioning/gamesense a heavy must have is very different to other classes. I've watched high level heavy's, those guys are smart.
/misses all scatter shots
/takes out pistol
/owns everyone
i43 was fucking bonkers. The memories
That was intense.
The music is just a brilliant choice, good on its own but with skill like this, just fantastic. Amazing aim, right from Sniper to Scout with amazing Pistol and SMG use. Both the rapid fire and slower fire weapons do show amazing accuracy when used and have great kills.
No human is that accurate. He is of a different species: Swag
A human aimbot. It has finally happened.
+Cameron Kennedy
It is really amazing to see someone do something with such a skill.
If you are interested, there is this race game series "F-Zero". Player called "CrazyGameNerd" is godlike in that game. The guy has beaten Tool-Assisted Runs by playing regularly.
*****
I will check this out, thank you.
How did it go?
Regarding the pistol; is its accuracy better when there's no random bullet spread, or do they just have magic aim with that thing? Normally its as accurate as throwing a handful of peanuts
YexaC I never really use the pistol, so i have no reference frame. I've just heard from several players that its hitdetection is just weird
YexaC I think i'll find a training map and check it out. I have a lot of things to test, as I've played without knowing any of the details, like how often healthpacks spawn, and how much dm/s guns have and what the fuck not
YexaC sv_allow_point_servercommand always
If you watch the vid, he mainly uses the pistol on slow moving/stationary targets, or targets moving in a straight line towards or away from him. Looks like the trick is to recognize when the pistol works in certain situations (else, use the scattergun).
Holy shit, I've never seen anyone being able to track targets so well before! Those pistol kills are just insane!
the epic moments begins when scattergun is out of ammo
@dltnduddla Everything with i43 in the bottom right corner is on a LAN tournament. Quad is a very well known competitive tf2 player and has been for a very long time, I'm quite sure the topic of hacks were brought up during his first days but quickly unproven due to LAN and eyewitness, he is also famed in the tf2 community for his excellent tracking aim. I am 99% sure that he does not hack.
I'm totally amazed by your tracking abilty, absolutely insane (maybe the best I've ever seen).
I still sometimes can't believe you're not cheating.
lol the medic at 3:27
"Nice shot- GAH *died*"
@dltnduddla I'm sure most/a lot of the footage are from LAN competitions. This is genuine skill in this video.
Dat pointer precision. If I didn't know better I would say he was aimbotting holy shit.
wauw quad 6k on that grand final SICK
best bullet aim in tf2
@MrWhite Dont give up so easily! If you wont believe in yourself, then believe in me, who believes in you!
@trackandfield1028 Dude, many of these clips are from LAN. LAN! It means there were people actually WATCHING him play the game, there's no way he could hack in i43 grand finals.
first of all, if you only watched up to 0:33, that's called "using video editing (slow-motion)"
second, team fortress 2 was first a quake mod, but then became a game itself, but is doing a lot better than quake is now.
@Pinkie_Spyy I practice a lot and I play some mixes now to get started. Also working on a fragmovie :) still need to improve a lot, but I am happy about every meatshot :)
He does this shit in LAN events. Fishes sold.
Yes. Absolutely. That is a huge part of it. Have fun playing!
That pistol aim is just obscene. Really, it's something special.
Feint + Amaizing pistol accuracy = Epic
Admirable is always shouting like a madmen
@freshasschris
In a video he posted last year, he used: 28.8cm/360
That pistol tracking is incredible.
he simply does a brilliant job in keeping is eyesight on enemies, and by doing so,i guess,he let his eyes and brain do the work by instinct.
Quad only played with Epsilon in the i43-tournament. After that he joined Infused, and since this winter he's teamless.
That is the most reliable pistol spread I've ever seen
@heresjacktorrance Yes, I am not sure its 100% hack yet.. I am suspicious he is using a aim hack for targeting helping. For instance, at 1:19 when a scout dies, his crosshair suddenly moves very fast. Also at 2:59, his target switches between 3 enemies real fast. Also, most importantly, when he fights against other scouts there seems to be a lot of shaking...which means aim hack is trying to follow the movement of scout.
oh my goodness. those pistol tracking skills...
when the scout says trashtalk like: "Hey knucklehead, you ain't gonna win" he means it when quad is playing.
That tracking is beyond aimbot
@schizoph666 Cool.
1. Go Engineer.
2. Get a Level 3.
3. You now have 256 damage per second with no spread, no falloff, and sticky aim.
I hope he stays playing Scout, for all our sakes.
hi
ItsJerryAndHarry hi
The way he aims pistol makes it look as if he is using an aimbot, or he knows every single move that they are going to make.
@Rrrrrrrriot I get what you're saying and completely understand your reasoning. But you must realise that a major part of this movie happened on LAN, with the only ranged pistol streak being on LAN. And even though he had aimbot the bullets would still be have spread around. So that's not really a good argument for him hacking to be honest. And you must also realise aswell that not all of the bullets are hitting, most of those guys were pretty mid-low on life even before he encountered.
Omg
In each clip the account name is changed...
Did he have to change his account numerous times to get all this footage?!!?!?!!
First time I have ever seen a clip of quad. That tracking..
You must get accused of hacking A LOT.
Nobody does it like quad did
I can't comprehend a simple statement? Look how you reacted.
Suspiciously good tracing
@ostakex Nospread is another hack that is often used by hackers. Quad doesn't hack, but saying that the spread would still fuck him over doesn't make much difference.
@quadGC n1
Can't tell for the frags he did with Infused, but whenever he played with Epsilon there it was on a LAN, meaning quite low ping (I suppose sub-10)
I'm sure you can't perfectly depict what's slow-mo and what isn't.
I literally felt a chill go up my spine after watching this
The music sounds like it should be in Castle Crashers
@NooklikesPIE These are some of the best TF2 teams in the world, they are on the same level are quad.
judging from your videos it seems like you play in very comfortable position.
i mean, your aim is (apart from brilliant, ofc) very smooth and fluent.
would you mind posting a video showing your mouse movements?
i'd like to see if you play more with your wrist or with your arm,or a strange combination of both :P.
Whenever quad uses his pistol, I always think of the i-gun traffic rage :P
Chuck Norris fears this guy's pistol...
In terms of jumping, strafing and rocket jumping its harder but you cant really bhop in tf which makes quake harder in that sense. point is, faster movement doesn't necessarily mean more skill.
holy shit, the pistol is a really good weapon.
Quake is FAAAAAAR more alive than TF2 competitively.
Players that have played games such as q3 or ql before getting into tf2 often find scout and sniper the two most familiar-feeling classes due to having to concentrate more on raw aim than with other classes (take carn for example). If your aim's good already, either scout or sniper is a quite natural choice. :D
unstoppable. if I didn't know better I'd say you were hacking in a heartbeat.
gj dude, some fucking great frags in there.
Just wanted to let you know, Quad only played quake for like half a week. Best way to improve pistol tracking is to use the pistol.
@JJesseQ They were afraid to call him out on it to his face.
@DoctorSpacemanHonk i43 is probably the most popular TF2 LAN.
Epic Player. I will never be as good as he is :/
Somebody should tell this dude the scattergun is the primary
quad pistol: locked on...
I don't see how this kind of tracking is even possible >.>
I can understand having good aim and some prediction but it's like he knows exactly every little movement the enemy is going to make, I don't even understand.
Plus these are demo recordings I do believe, so they don't have the best lag synchronisation.
@kiblok15 No it's a person with good aim playing on a lan/offline tournament....
@XeroMaano Altough i'm not as good as Quad in terms of aiming, i can say that it doesn't stray too far off either (though thats dependant on mood.. Sometimes i never miss, sometimes i miss too much.. Quite frustrating sometimes)..... It's very possible he's just able to aim this well, even at the scout parts...
Also, these are the highlight parts... Quad definately can miss, but he took the parts where he didn't miss and coupled those highlights into a video for entertainment...
DAAAAAAAAYYYUUmmm iloved the shoutout to epsilon : Kaidus
Here some tips: I've seen his autoxec.cfg, he uses Chris Highquality Config for more FPS and with 60+ fps sony Vegas can do that smoothness
true the pistol is secondary, but it does a lot of damage output in a small amount of time compared to a scatter, hence the small amount of ammo
@MrBawblawblaw Sure, the scattergun is primary, but the pistol is more accurate.
That's great and all but I never implied that that's how I thought Quad got his aim. I was simply saying what I felt really helped ME out. Not everyone is going to feel the same.
True. I use around 8" per 360. I don't have much mouse space, so it kind of compensates for it. lol
Do you play with viewmodels on? I would assume not, but it's worth shooting the question.
@SuperMegaAss nope of you download the cfg you have no view model and this is the cfg quad uses :) I see a definant improvement using this most of the time IM at the top of the leaderboards
Really amazing gameplay quad, keep it up :)
I envy your uber PC, mouse, and hand-eye coordination.
Happy pwning to you.
...this pistol is haunted !
I have previously built aim hacks for other games, and I once implemented feature for smootheness, which controls how smooth the aim hack helps targeting. With some smootheness, aimhack will not aim the enemy instantly, but will somewhat slowly aim the enemy... Also, at 2:43, the aim seems to follow the scout too well... I think I can be 100% sure if I get to see normal speed video.
damned, best scout of the moment.
@VAN17INO6 If you play in windowed mode, it helps you from not clicking out of the game.
I was expecting a video showing the Quake III Quad Damage in Team Fortress 2.
epic cast cheers byte
@KoRL12 With that comment i'm going to assume you're God's gift to FPS gaming
@XeroMaano Uh, dude, he isn't.
His aim is exactly the same on the i43 tournament as it is on the other clips.
The tags are a joke because people think he hacks.
@Krornus Why should I? I don't go around making movies better than Hollywood directors everytime one of them fails to impress me.
Hey, hey guys. Wanna hear a joke?
Quad once missed a shot.
and that why scattergun pistol combo is op! better then force a nature!
Some classes move slow, sure, but they'll fuck you up fast.
Your hand is a fine aimbot sir.
Who needs a Scattergun?
