    Thanks , you missed a country .
Saudi arabia 🇸🇦, Saudi Council of Engineering also uses P.E exam by NCEES as reference for licensing.

Very insightful. Thank you. Can you please comment further on how this would work in reverse, i. e. what if an Engineer with a License from another country wants to be registered to practice in a state in the US?

Dwight in that case, you should check with the Education department in the specific US State on what you would need to do, every State is different.

    Hi, great video sir!
I am a P Eng of Ontario for 15 years and currently working in S.Korea. I work for a Korean firm that gets engineering jobs from US Army base, Humphreys, in Pyeangteak. They are asking me to get the US PE so that we can get more jobs. How should I approach this issue? they are asking for CA or GA PE, does it even matter? Can you tell me the steps that I need to take and consider overall?
Any input will be greatly appreciated

Yes reach out to the PE licensing board in those States and ask them what is required of you. They will give you the details.

    Hello
I did my studies in India. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar. Tiwan offering PE exam
Is it possible to attend the exam from outside this Countries

    • @PassthePEExam
      @PassthePEExam  ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, it is possible to attend the PE exam from outside of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Taiwan. The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) offers the PE exam in many countries around the world. To find out if the PE exam is offered in your country, and to learn more about the requirements for taking the exam, you can visit the NCEES website at ncees.org/exams/pe-exam/.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind if you are planning to take the PE exam from outside of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Taiwan:
*You will need to register for the exam with the NCEES.
*You will need to meet the education and experience requirements for the PE exam in your state.
*You will need to find a testing center that offers the PE exam in your country.
*You will need to pay the registration and testing fees.
*Once you have registered for the exam and met all of the requirements, you will be able to schedule your exam at a testing center in your country.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Raza, it will depend on the state withing the United States that you work in. We recommend that you send a letter to that states' education department with a specific request around your situation and they should give you a clear response.

I have a question particular to an Engineering Body named Pakistan Engineering Council. I would like to know how can a PE of this country can transfer it's record to U.S

Unfortunately, I can't provide specific advice on this matter, as the process and requirements can vary depending on several factors, including:
Your specific engineering discipline: Different engineering disciplines may have different licensing requirements in the US.
The state you wish to practice in: Each state in the US has its own licensing board with specific requirements for foreign engineers.
Your current PE registration in Pakistan: The level and type of your PEC registration may influence the transfer process.
However, I can offer some general guidance to help you get started:
      1. Contact the relevant US licensing board: The first step is to contact the licensing board for the state you wish to practice in. They will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information on the transfer process and requirements specific to your situation. You can find a list of state licensing boards here: ncees.org/
      2. Review the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) website: NCEES is a non-profit organization that offers licensing examinations and other services for engineers in the US. Their website has a wealth of information for foreign engineers seeking licensure, including a "Foreign Credential Evaluation" page: ncees.org/
      3. Consult with a professional: Consider seeking advice from a professional familiar with the engineering licensing process in both Pakistan and the US. They can help you navigate the complexities of the transfer process and ensure you meet all the necessary requirements.
Here are some additional resources that may be helpful:
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) website: www.pec.org.pk/
World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO): www.wfeo.org/
      International Engineering Alliance (IEA): www.ieagreements.org/
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi, I graduated in Civil Engineering in the Philippines. I just wondering my education and work experience would qualify me to take FE and PE exams? Likewise, what are the process to get a license in the US? Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. If you would like to work in the United States you would need to contact the State Board Education Department for the US state you want to work in and provide them with your experience to see if you will be able to sit for the exam.

If someone has a PE license in Canada and an IntPE license from Engineers Canada, are they eligible for a PE license in the USA? I believe they can only obtain a temporary license in certain states, not all states.

    • @PassthePEExam
      @PassthePEExam  ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, Canadian engineers with a PE license in Canada and an IntPE license from Engineers Canada are eligible for a PE license in the USA. However, they may need to meet additional requirements, such as taking the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam in the state where they want to be licensed.
Whether or not a Canadian engineer with a PE license in Canada and an IntPE license from Engineers Canada can obtain a permanent PE license in the USA depends on the state. In some states, such as California, Florida, and Texas, Canadian engineers can obtain a permanent PE license without having to take the PE exam. In other states, such as New York and Pennsylvania, Canadian engineers must take the PE exam in order to obtain a permanent PE license.
To find out more about the requirements for obtaining a PE license in a specific state, Canadian engineers should contact the state board of engineering in that state.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind for Canadian engineers who are interested in obtaining a PE license in the USA:
*Most states require PE license applicants to have at least four years of engineering experience.
*Some states require PE license applicants to have a degree from an accredited engineering program.
*Some states require PE license applicants to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in addition to the PE exam.
Canadian engineers who are considering obtaining a PE license in the USA should carefully review the requirements for each state where they want to be licensed. They should also contact the state board of engineering in each state to get more information about the application process and to learn more about any specific requirements that may apply to Canadian engineers.
