It is absolutely possible to receive an Aussie job offer from India. I was sponsored by my employer back in 2019 on a 482 visa to work as a teacher in regional Aus. Along with me, my family was also sponsored, visa fees were paid , with contribution to flight tickets and relocation incentive allowance. Additionally, I was able to transition from a temporary visa to permanent residency. An applicant for a teaching job must have their IELTS scores 8877 ready, in addition to references from schools/principals.
We are in ongoing process of sponsored secondary teacher job in Australia for my wife, School didn’t ask for 8877 bands in ielts because we don’t need to do skill assessment for subclass 482 visa can you please tell me do they really need 8877 bands for 482 visa?
@@godofgamez3092 Even if skills assessment is not required for 482, for the purpose of teacher's registration, the teacher registration body usually asks for IELTS 7788. For instance, Queensland College of teachers requires it. Please contact the teacher's reg authority of the state in which the school is located to confirm this. A teaching registration is mandatory and a pre-requisite for employer's nomination approval and visa application. In the visa application, there is a section where, in lieu of the AITSL skills assessment, you have to provide evidence of teacher's registration. Hope this helps.
I just checked in our case we don’t need to provide ielts for registration because my wife got her teaching qualification in united kingdom. Thank god I was scared because we are in between the process .😅

You have to wait for age 67 for that to happen. Many thousands of Aussies struggle to live. Incidentally, I have 3 degrees from Australian universities!

Getting a job offer is indeed possible. Specially if you are in Australia. I'm a resume writer in Australia and have seen many of my clients getting job offers after applying for jobs as she explains here. So keep applying. Don't give up after applying 10,20 vacancies. Daily apply for the recent vacancies.

In South Australia you will never get permanency in state schools. The best you can hope for is a contract (rarely full time) that lasts for a year. Don't believe the bullshit on here.

Very less companies would be ready to provide you this visa, but they are there. If you feel your skill set is niche, then please keep patience and keep applying. Also check the skilled occupation list (provided in video description) to see if your profile qualifies for such kind of a visa

Hey, thanks for reaching out. You are right, they are reluctant to apply for your 482 visa (it has to be reapplied, cannot just be transferred from one employer to another) and for PR also. But although difficult, I have seen it happening for some people. Are you not thinking of applying for PR on your own?

Hey, thanks for reaching out. Absolutely, you can! There is open work permit for 482 dependants. But a couple of caveats - Some recruiters may expect you to be in the country for moving ahead with your application. Some might be okay, provided they know you are landing in the country soon. In India, we generally have notice period of 2-3 months, whereas here it’s 2-3 weeks, so they expect you to join within those timelines. My partner also got many interview calls, but they expected him to either be in the country or join immediately in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Let me know if any further information is needed. Also, when you are trying to reach out to people or applying for jobs here, clearly mention in your resume that you require no work sponsorship.

I didn’t find this option anywhere 😊 And I would suggest you not to fully rely on the jobs having “visa sponsorship” mentioned. Sometimes the ones that don’t have this explicitly mentioned also sponsor you.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, he definitely can. Partner or spouse can be included in your 482 visa application and he would get an open work permit. My partner accompanied me as well. Both us had to submit some documents to prove the authenticity of our relationship though, but that was a very easy step. For 482 work visa, there are a couple of exemptions you can use, so I did not have to take IELTS exam.

There were a couple of documents to prove it. Not all were necessary. Was asked to submit 2-3 out of the lot

Wow..that's a really informative video for those planning to move to Australia. I'm here in Sydney on 482 for around 2 years now. What are the chances you see currently for companies willing to do sponsorship transfer for 482 or interested to do PR sponsorship on 186? I don't see recruiters usually ready to proceed with interview process when they discover that you're staying on sponsored 482. What are your thoughts?

You are right, they are reluctant to apply for your 482 visa (it has to be reapplied, cannot just be transferred from one employer to another) and for PR also. But although difficult, I have seen it happening for some people.

@@Ausi.Darshan yup, planning to apply but you know the competition on scores especially for SE codes are pretty high and they are also planning to cut down on the numbers they are going to approve in coming years as per new migration strategy. Lets see! 😞
Ya, the government here is always making some changes or the other to the immigration process, it’s always volatile.
So I believe, one should start with the PR process as soon as possible. Even I’m researching on filing for PR on my own.

Hey, thanks for reaching out. Absolutely, you can! There is open work permit for 482 dependants. But a couple of caveats -
Some recruiters may expect you to be in the country for moving ahead with your application. Some might be okay, provided they know you are landing in the country soon. In India, we generally have notice period of 2-3 months, whereas here it’s 2-3 weeks, so they expect you to join within those timelines.
My partner also got many interview calls, but they expected him to either be in the country or join immediately in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Let me know if any further information is needed.
Also, when you are trying to reach out to people or applying for jobs here, clearly mention in your resume that you require no work sponsorship.

And I would suggest you not to fully rely on the jobs having “visa sponsorship” mentioned. Sometimes the ones that don’t have this explicitly mentioned also sponsor you.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, he definitely can. Partner or spouse can be included in your 482 visa application and he would get an open work permit. My partner accompanied me as well.
Both us had to submit some documents to prove the authenticity of our relationship though, but that was a very easy step. I’ve talked more about this in this video of mine -

Hi sir, the first step is to get a job offer from an Australian company. So he should look at accredited companies offering visa (the list of companies is available on Google).
Do not trust any agency that asks u for an amount in lieu of arranging this visa for you, they are all fake .
