I just received my pair of Truman Cattail Grizzly boots on Monday and I couldn't be more pleased. The heft, the materials, the build quality, every detail is just flawless. I'll definitely be buying another pair, likely the brown doubleshot when they come back in stock in my size.
Teik, I am so glad I stumbled on your channel. Your reviews are thorough, charming, extremely informative, and relaxing to watch. Not to mention, you seem like a genuine and thoughtful person. You are making me want to visit Western Australia. Cheers from the American Midwest!
I have the oxblood double shots and the Martini rambler boots on the 79 last. Both colors are stunning and the boots are built superbly. Heftier than all my grant Stone boots.
We have almost the exact same pairs of boots, I just have the noble ink rambler. When I was picking them out I was deciding between the martini and noble ink, I bet that green rambler looks just as awesome as mine. I wear the rambler boots at work almost every day, they have quickly became my favorite and changed my opinion of suede.
I have some Martini Rambler Truman boots and love them. I had to get a thicker insole though for a better a fit. I use them on my motorcycle and get plenty compliments on them. They have a great product and the end of year sales have been phenomenal.
I sort of felt like I was taking a gamble on the noble ink rambler, but they exceeded my expectations enormously. I think rambler suede may be one of my new favorite leathers, it has so much character.
Mr. Bootlosophy, I’m nearly addicted to your channel. The reviews are well presented and your boot selections are enviable. I also fully appreciate what you are expressing by acknowledging the “traditional custodian’s” of the land, but somehow it gives me the feeling like thanking the Bank I just robbed for having other peoples money. Perhaps having a link to a charity or scholarship fund would be nice and helpful.
@@Bootlosophy Thank you very much. I did Google it and I am now smarter knowing that the Aboriginal Land Acknowledgment are the Norm in Australia. Thank you.
I have bought several pairs of Truman Boots to include some limited runs. Other than a couple pairs cannot even remember what leathers they are. Should have written it down. Like you, have way too many boots now. Forgot, Truman Boots fit me true to size. One of the few makers I did not have to size down.
Hello Teik. Can you do a video comparing all your RM Williams? Like explaining the difference between different models(like comfort vs. non comfort) and different lasts like Gardner vs. Craftsmen vs. Gammon, etc. You can also talk about the comfort you experience in the different lasts.
Where would you rank the overall quality of these Truman boots next to Whites, Nicks, Viberg and others on that level? Thank you so much and I really enjoy your channel!
I’m not planning on selling them atm but I’m letting go of some size 8s on my website Bootlosophy.com - go to the link at the top of the Buy Stuff page
Thank you for a helpful review. Would like to ask you about the sizing as compared to red wing Blacksmith or Iron Rangers, I am sure you have ones of the same size as your Trumans. I that true that Trumans are a little longer than Blacksmiths having nominally the same size ? If so how much longer approximately. It is important question for people like me having Blacksmiths and thinking on purchasing Trumans last 79. Thank you in advance for any suggestion and best wishes. I think making videos on comparison of different boots from this angle would be a good idea.
They look a little like the Truman boots in Rio Latigo (whatever that is!) I got years ago in the 55 last. The color I mean. I’m wondering whether I’m one of the few people who prefer the 55 last over the 79 since Truman doesn’t seem to make their boots available in the 55
My normal size is 11D so i half size down to 10 half in all my grant stone boots and its oerfect . However i was excited to get my first truman boot in 79 last , order 10 half D and had to send it back , it was way to snug and tight , so the half size down was not good , and afraid now to keep trying , im thinking 11 D , its not easy with truman fit sizing
Can you please include the name of the people you acknowledge as the traditional custodians of the land in the description? Apologies if it’s there and I’m just missing it…

I love the look of Truman boots. They’re definitely the tank of the boot world. But I’m looking forward to the Cheaney review. 😁👍
You are the best boot reviewer!
Beautiful boots! A shame they don't/won't do true cap toes.
I really like follow up video! Thank You for sharing!

Pumping out those videos lately 💪 Too bad Truman doesn't supply their european dealers anymore, would love to try one in their Java waxed flesh.
Videos out every Australian Friday and Saturday morning! Sub so you don’t miss them!
I am from Pemberton, NJ home of the Lenape.
Thanks!

I agree. I have 2 pairs of Truman where 8D is perfect and 2 pairs where I wish I’d gone 8.5D.
Good lord. What do you do for a living? Just curious….and jealous.

I do every time.
Hello, would you recommend the 79 last for people whith high archs? Thanks for the great videos!
Gosh that’s a really personal issue but I’d say no
@@Bootlosophy thanks for the helpful suggestion!
Do they still sell this color?
No. Sorry!
