RMs Stockyard can actually be resoled.
I had mine resoled with vibram wedge sole. Many cobblers are just being snooty and try to convince people Blundstones and RM stockyard cant be resoled.

I wear a pair of rock rooster boots. It's the most comfortable boot ever. Even more comfortable than the red backs.

My Redbacks are the comfiest footwear I've ever owned.
I wish I'd known you had the steel toe Redbacks in a couple of months ago, couldn't find anywhere local to try them on.

Redbacks are definitely comfortable and built better than Blundstone, although blundstones look better in my opinion but redbacks are definitely more of a work boot. The build quality is just more sturdy, and seems more stable than Blunstone. I love my bunnies I just wish my foot fit the redback steel toe. Great boots !

How much? How true to USA sizing. I need 11 1/2 wide.

Hi Tim,
Always the most honest answer is that the one way to see how well a shoe fits is to try them on.
Whilst some shoemakers would detail a full size difference between Uk and US Sizes, others would detail just half a size.
In the past, having had quite a few US based customers that I have sent Tricker's to, I would consider half a size so........
11 1/2 US Wide Fit, I wold suggest UK 11 in the Redback or Blundstone.
Again though no amount of information can guarantee a good fit. only by trying them on can you know.
The Redback RRP 120gbp and Blundstone around 180gbp depending on model.
