I KNOW RIGHT! The funniest thing was that the first time it happened to me, I was climbing up a ledge and got the aerial paralysis animation. I was in complete shock at what had happened!
Yo, found this in twitter, dind't know u had a channel. It's absolutely true that the first impression on a final boss is just priceless, specially those which store big surprises. Not having seen gogmazios or shara previously is just great. Great video, keep it up!
Well, I'm glad to hear you found us! :D And you are so right, the first impression can make or break how you feel about a monster! Hence why neither BBake nor I feel strongly about Shara
The most incredible thing about the Shara fight was the transition from phase 1 to phase 2. The music in phase 1 was slow and mysterious, echoing the shrouded, lumbering design of shara with the rock armor. Upon doing enough damage, though, the music does a sort of fade with a few chimes and falls into silence as Shara rears up and begins dropping large chunks of rock that obscure its true form in a cloud of debris. Suddenly, she roars and the entire field erupts in chaos. The walls fall away, the dust is scattered, and the music screams back to life at a blistering pace as her true form is revealed at last, towering over you and your team. Absolutely incredible.
I still to this day want to fight Gog and Dalamadur, and I hope in the future they return, or at least capcom pulls a gen U and ports the older games. Since the main thing holding me back from going back to them are the control schemes. I've given past games a try but the controls always hold me back. Also in regards to my favorite its easily Ahtal Ka as a huge robot/mecha fan that concept is just way too cool.
Believe me when I say that those two are in the top best fights in all the saga, Dalamadur is amazing and Gogmazios even better with their ultimate attacks, they are just so fun, a 5th generation version of them would be mind-blowing, and even if I have my doubts with Dalamadur I am optimistic that with Gore, Shagaru and Valstrax in the game Gogmazios is going to be in too because of the similar Skeleton, Sunbreak has way too many references to MH 4 and MH 4U to not get the final boss back, and it fits perfectly with the expansion, mark my words he is coming as a free updates
Amazing video! Definitely brought up some locked up memories I made fighting some of those dying over and over again hahah. Personally Allmother Narwa (and the ‘normal’ fights against the serpents) will probably always be my favorite or at least stay in my memories for eternity. Big factor here are the serpents’ themes. I don’t recall Monster Hunter ever doing themes with actual lyrics before (please correct me if I’m wrong) so that already was a huge “Wow” for me. Allmother’s theme is especially breathtaking because it has a more tragic, bittersweet and heavy feeling to it except for something heroic or disturbing like most elder dragons’ themes. Magnamalo dropping by mid-fight also made my jaw drop because I was extremely low on items and thought I’d have to take on two monsters at the same time, Magnamalo with his agility would have made me faint in one second and I knew that. Overall I can say I’m really excited for what Sunbreak’s final boss is gonna be but as you said, from what we know about Capcom and how they treat Monster Hunter, it will be breathtaking.
Thank you, first of all. Secondly, I agree that I will most likely remember the Narwas forever. They feel so different from anything else in the series between the design, theme, gear, and fight. They really brought a whole lot of new things to the game that made them extremely memorable and enjoyable
What're you guy's opinions on Gaismagorm? I've heard a lot of people say they were disappointed in him, but personally he's one of my favorite monsters in the franchise! and I definitely think he has the wow factor considering his size and constantly changing appearance throughout the fight. Also he has the best version of Proof of A Hero.
We thought he was really cool upon first encounter and really enjoyed the spectacle that was his fight. However, after having fought him a bit more, we still like the monster, but we feel other final boss monster's such as Gogmazios or Ahtal-ka were more fun personally. His theme is spectacular though!
Everything (almost) about Ahtal Ka is awesome. But probably one of the more impressive things I love about it is the pacing of its fight. The multi-phase battle (not just 2 phases like most) keeps the fight interesting and you barely feel its HP sponginess. And while it's not THAT difficult, it still bites back often and hard enough to not make it a boring fight (especially in the last phase).
Completely agreed. As the fight goes on it gets progressively more difficult. And even though the fight isn't THAT difficult, the uniqueness and fun factor of the fight totally makes up for it.
For me I didn’t really like Shara Ishvalda at first either, but it’s a fight that I appreciated more over time and after fighting him a handful of more times I think it’s a pretty cool boss
Dalamadur is one of my favorite monsters of all time! I love snakes first off, but even without that it looks amazing, and on top of that it's weapons and armour look so cool!

I do agree the Final Bosses Are Really Great I do Leave a Great Impression before doing the Endgame Grind But Even I'm Looking Forward to Sunbreak Final Boss and what Tricks Will It Pull Of Like Will Using The New Switch Skills Swap Be Part of the Monster Gimmick? How Big or Small Will it be and what is going look like? Like As Soon I Can Play Sunbreak I Will get to the final Boss as Soon as I Can to see how Good Will the Final Boss is compared to the other I Battled!
It's one of the most exciting things for a new Monster Hunter game for me because, as you said, it's a perfect way to begin the endgame. We are quite curious what it will have in store, and what sort of mechanics it will have and/or make us have to use while fighting it.
Malzeno = Vampire Garangolm = Golem Lunagaron = Werewolf I think the final boss will also be a European mythological creature. I'm hesitant to say it will be a grim reaper since that's too much like Vaal Hazak, but what about some sort of demon? Keep in mind that Malzeno's signature status condition, bloodblight, can also help you, similar to the Frenzy virus. So what if Malzeno isn't in fact the source of it, but instead was infected by it and is now using it to its advantage? What if Malzeno the vampire "made" a deal with the devil, the final boss? That could tie in with European mythology very well, seeing as the tale of Doctor Faustus and the demon Mephistopheles became to iconic in English literature over the centuries since it was written. At least, that's my guess before Sunbreak is released, that the final boss is a demon-type monster that gave Malzeno its ability to be powered up with bloodblight
That's a really good guess, and it would be pretty interesting if that were the case. It would be cool to see some sort of relationship between Malzeno and whatever the final boss may be.
