Just trying to help it’s the only thing I literally can do being a man doesn’t mean you can’t relate to a woman my love for her is the reason we made a baby but it’s also the reason I try to go beyond to help in anyway I can ........ to all the men out there get in touch with your feminine side it will make you a better man
“Omg I feel like a horrible mom because I can’t feed my baby”.... my exact words to my husband a few days ago about our 8 week old. It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one that felt like this
Exactly?!!! I felt pressured by my doctors office to breastfeed. I love pumping because I know I'm helping my son best I can. He has a high palette which makes breastfeeding hard. I had a emergency c section as well which makes holding him certain ways painful and I didn't get that initial hour that is so crucial for breastfeeding to be successful. He's so hard to latch and I just absolutely burst into tears because I can't do it. My worst fear is I'm out and about and I can't feed him from my breast and I didn't pack any breast milk because I thought I could breastfeed. Power to the women that can, but you shouldn't feel like less if a woman because youcan't. .
My baby was whisked away right after delivery and had to pump colostrum. Anyone who’s tried to pump colostrum knows it’s thick and a mission and a half. My baby’s 5-day NICU stay made latching impossible. Ladies, consistency is key! Initially I was barely producing. I stayed consistent with my 8 pumps a day, not with the times. I definitely stretch, even as long as a 6 hour stretch, but always 8 pumps a day. Initially had to supplement with formula. 10 days in she was exclusively taking breast milk, 3 weeks in I was able to freeze a feeding a day. Now I’m 5 weeks in, I’m averaging 40-43 oz. Your experience might not be the same, but know that you got this mama!
@@laurenpineiro4199 I did pump at night for the first 3 months. I just continued to stretch time in between my night pumps until I was pumping in the morning and no longer in the middle of the night. My highest output was never at night, it was always at 9am. I did have clogged ducts twice, but sunflower lecitin, hot showers, Epsom salt, and my la vie massager got rid of it in a day.
To all BF/pumping Mamas out there - you are doing AMAZING! I breastfed both of my children (my first for 6 months and my second for a year). I supplemented with my first and my second absolutely refused formula. I’m a working mom and barely got 10oz when I pumped when I got back to work. I was not a great milk producer, but my kids got what they needed. No matter what your situation is, your babies will be fine! Don’t stress!
Trying to research before trying for my first kid, and that’s the thing I’m terrified about. How to even do all the pumping everyone talks about when I have to go back to work at a busy retail job.
@@MySwatchOrama have you talked to your HR to see if they will let you take pumping breaks when you go back to work? It’s should only take 15 min and you might only need 2 sessions. Depending on where you live, certain state laws have to allow you do this (I believe)
I wanna cry my baby is 7 months and my breastmilk is drying up Only got a couple drops every session 😭 I feel so sad that I can’t give BM to my baby I want to give up on pumping but at the same time I still want to keep trying It’s so stressful 😭
I don’t have kids yet...I’m 34 praying to have kids before 40!...me and bae planning on it Update: Me and my love just had a beautiful baby girl! I did follow some of these tips to increase my milk supply and now we are supplement with formula because of feeding difficulties but baby is doing good eating more on the gentle no spit formula...I am freezing my milk and will incorporate it a little later mixed with formula and also mix it with cereal when baby is a few months older...I also make a crazy amount so I’m gonna donate the excess
This was the video that helped me with my first baby 3 years ago. I have a 5 day old now and I’m starting with 8 pumping sessions and producing 2-3.5oz per session. I hope I establish the supply I established with my first. It was wonderful seeing her gain weight because of what my body Can do. Thank you
Agreed! So far all 3 of my pregnancy I couldnt feed at all. I got manual, electric pumping, feeding on boob in 3 months the most of ever got was 1oz everything else was under 1oz.
Breastfeeding is easy, pumping is not easy and it's frustrating! I'll sit all day to express 120mls, whilst 4 weeks old baby pulls out easily over 700ml in 24hrs!
Holly crap! I stared to pump and I got horrible head aches after and I stopped for a day or two then started again and I pumped one a day I couldn't find time to pump yesterday day but I only pump 1 to 2 oz from each boob which sucks I'm scared I'm not going to pump enough for baby to eat when I go back to work
My son was in the nicu at 35 weeks so obviously they gave him bottle and nurses told me to use a nipple shield. Why? I don't know. My insurance's lactation consultants would not teach me how to nurse my son without the nipple shield so I ended up looking up a non profit lactation place to help me wean my son off of the plastic and just go straight to the tit. It's hard work getting a 2 month old to nurse but it is also FN hard to pump to keep up demand. You can say that it's easy to breastfeed, its depending on your kid.. Not you..
Thank you for this video!! I just had my baby around 3 weeks ago. I was so stressed out because my milk wasn't ready. He was hungry all the time and kept crying and crying... I supplemented him with formula from bottle when he was 5 days young. Everyone said its too early to and may create nipple confussion. But I felt like I had no choice but to give him bottle coz he was sooo hungry! Now he kept falling asleep when I try to nurse him :( so I decided to exclusively pump without nursing but everyone says its not possible to produce enough milk that way. Thank God I ignored these people. I just keep trying and pump religiously every 2 hours. It has been 3 days so far. My milk has gone up from 3.5 ml to 40 ml per pumping session. Still supplementing with formula but hopefully my milk will be enough for my son soon!
A W wow, you did amazing and I’m glad you listened to what your instinct was telling you. I really want to breastfeed and I’m hoping if I do run into problems I can try to stay as calm as possible and persist through it. All the best to you. ❤️
My baby is 3 weeks and my milk is really low. I am pumping and only getting 40 ml total every 4 hrs (10-20 ml/ 2hrs). It's frustrating, my baby is having a reaction to formula and has breakouts on her face so I am trying to breastfeed her as much as I can.
Are you struggling with the amount you produce??? I recommend trying an herbal formula "healthy nursing tea" by maternitytea.com. This herbal formula is doing awesome for me to produce a giant amount for the baby.
I have pumped 3 times a day since my baby was 1 month old and I produce 1500 ml a day, I am feeding my baby and my friend's baby too, I take fenugreek supplements and they work like a charm... hope someone will find this information helpful 👍
@@laurenpineiro4199 Hi Lauren, in the starting month I have to wake up at night to pump as I start feeling pain, but after a month or so I think they get settled for milk production, and it's easy to pump after every 8 hours, you should gradually increase the duration. In case u develop clogged ducts try a warm compress and pumping frequently. I hope it helps.
I'm watching this 6 years after it's been uploaded !! holy moly but it's very helpful to ease my stress. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant 1st time mom and trying to help myself become informed. Thank you !!
Great tips! Hydration and eating enough have made a huge difference! In terms of how long milk is good at room temperature, my lactation consultant said to follow CDC guidelines: 2 hours once baby starts a bottle, 4 hours at room temperature, 4 days in the fridge(but best to freeze within 2 days of pumping), and don’t freeze again once it defrosts.
I'm a mom of two, I breastfed with my first, my daughter for almost two years, NEVER pumped, never worried. You always produce even if you feel your breasts are empty trust me. If you eat right and drink a lot of water and breastfeed at baby's request everything is perfect. Don't stress, sleep and nap with baby and you will make as much as your baby (or babies) will need. I NEVER knew how much she was eating, sometimes I fed her for a very long time, sometimes 6 times a day, other times 10/14 times... As much as she wanted. Never had a bottle to see how much she was having. She always put weight double than other babies so I never worried that she was not having enough. Breasts produce just how much your baby eats. When I stopped with breastfeeding, i just stopped giving her. No medication, no pumping, no nothing. It was a super easy journey for me, because I decided to be that way and not stress myself about it.
Kymera Stormwater Omgosh yes! Tongue ties are awful and our breastfeeding journey is not the same as others who’s babies don’t have tongue or lip ties.
My daughter in law put the milk on the refrigerator. And give it cold !! :( I see that since my granddaughter was 4 week old . I don't think it's a good thing give could milk to 4 week baby born!! And she let the baby girl cry for like 15 to 20 minuts it's not right !!!!!
Hi. I just wanna ask why is it you are now finished pumping breastmilk? Did your baby self weaned? What age did your baby wean? Or did your milk run out? Because I am now really confused 😣 I've been pumping my breastmilk for 1 yr and I'm a working mom. I work 8 hrs a day. I've been 10 hours away from home. I got 6 to 7 or 8 oz each pump when I started pumping. And I just noticed that from 4 times during my shift, it became 3 times and now down to two times. Before, I still got 7 oz each pump twice during my shift but I noticed that If I'll pump twice during my shift I only got 3 oz each pump but if I'll pump once during my shift I got 5-7 oz. I'm wondering If it is time to pump once during my shift until he self wean since my he is now eating solid foods but I am also afraid he might not get enough milk whenever I'm not home. Please share some tips or your experience. Thank you so much 😘
By the way, as I've said I pump twice during my shift. 3 oz each pump. Then all in all, I got 6 oz then my son also consume 6oz during the time I am away and I still have stash just in case. He still get the same because he eat solid food and drink water and whenever I arrived home I let him directly latch on me as long as he want. My concern is If I will pump only once during my shift, will if affect my milk supply? Because I've learned from a group that the less I pump/breastfeed the more the chance of low milk supply. Huhuhu. And I'm afraid 😭
Ralyn Pena it shouldn’t affect if you only want to pump around 16 oz a day! I hope everything worked out ! She probably stoped b cause she was tired ... I exclusively breastfed my fist baby for almost 2 years then baby number 2 was born and I weaned her b cause it was hard with baby 2. Now with baby number 2 I’m pumping and I pump 40 + oz a day. I started pumping when baby was 3 weeks old. I new he would start drinking more milk after 1 month and my gold was to only feed him directly on the bottle because directly breastfeeding was sooo hard because my first baby got sooo attached to me and wouldn’t play with other kids and cried all the time. I also plan to only pump until his 1st year because my Nipples hurt sometimes . I started pumping every 1-2 hours then 2-3 hours now I go 3 1/2 to 4 hours sometimes even 5 it depends on how busy I am but I feel I pump more the longer I go being my milk supply is already stablished
I have exclusively breastfed my baby for last 9 months and hate pumping. If I had to pump I would honestly give up and do formula 😩 you moms who don't give up and pump for your babies WOW 👏
I’m one month into breast feeding/pumping and feel like dying. My whole life revolves around the pump. Thank you for your honesty and encouragement. Pumping IS so hard and after watching your video I feel like I can continue to pump. Thanks!
Same here... I feel like I will only be able to do it for 1 month and im currently pumping for 2 weeks now.. hoping to increase supply so I can have somewhat of a stash to use for another month and that's it...
Well said. Breast milk is the best gift that nature allowed a woman to produce for her child. I believe every women should feed for as long as they can.
@@kennethfok not true tho. the female body will continue to lactate for literally ever if you don’t stop nursing or pumping. it would be creepy as hell to nurse a child over the age of 2...
I only produced enough 1 .5 days for feeding like during the day you fed bub meanwhile u done 2times pumping to make 4 bottles,so always maintain 6 bottles in fridge rather than freeze exceed to the freezer .
Lauren Hope yup! I need motivation to know this whole exclusively Pumping thing is working! Pick a TH-cam video or 2 that add up between 20-30 min and try to relax! Lol
I've never seen or heard about your channel. I just came across your video and you're just the sweetest! You're so encouraging!!! My baby girl is now 3 months old and I'm having such a rough time nursing her, I don't wanna just give up my breastfeeding journey and just feed her with formula only cause I know she needs my milk you know, but I'm sooo mentally drained and tired of desperately crying! She's had a rough time latching on to my breast since birth so we added a shield, which was awesome! But then she got tired of using it probably because it was still easier to drink formula milk through a bottle😑... I received two Medela Pumps at my baby shower. The string one, which is the single electric one, and the manual one. What makes the pumping so difficult is that... She always wants me to pick her up😭 I don't really believe a newborn baby can be spoiled, but mine is verrrry attached and needs to be picked up almost all the time and with my husband coming home from work exhausted, it leaves me very little time to do ANYTHING ELSE except entertaining her... Had I wanted to go out and take my usual lifestyle back, I wouldn't probably insist on breastfeeding her, but... That's what I want to do ALL DAYYY!!! Pump and feed her😭😭😭😭😭 Sorry for shoving my novel down your throat😔😔 I'll make sure to visit kellymom.com for any advice😊😊 Thank you so so much for making this video, I'm so grateful and happy to know I'm not the only one whos breastfeeding journey was not perfect... Btw, it's illegal to have a baby boy this cuuuuute😭😭😭
It feels like EVERYONE wants you to formula-feed. It’s a struggle to continue breastfeeding b/c everyone seems against it. They think a baby has to be super-chubby and that you’re not making enough milk. EVERYONE asks “do you think you’re making enough milk?” I am now supplementing with formula, I have noticed my baby has gone from a poop every other diaper change to only going once a day or sometimes not even that. And it smells more disgusting and looks more disgusting. I am going to try pumping, as I think my breast milk is best for my baby.
This has also been happening to me! People like the nurses from the hospital and others around have asked if I am producing enough breastmilk...and encourage using formula. It doesn't make sense, we should all encourage and find ways to help promote a mother's breastmilk supply.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I am currently on week 3 freaking out trying to produce and finding time to pump. Bleh it’s hard but this video gives me hope! I am an exclusive pumping mom too because I wasn’t able to establish a latch. I was very sick after delivery so the nurses introduced a bottle to her immediately. So I’ve been trying my best to get the pumping established but it is hard!
i watched this video a day ago while nursing and i was SO discouraged because i wasn’t producing enough, i watched this video and now i’m producing so much! keep going at it mamas, don’t give up! i’ve been staying hydrated as well as pumping every 2 hours and it has definitely helped my milk supply! thanks for this video!
Girlll!! I saw the title and was like "I'd be layed out on the couch like thr crip creeper" I'm trying to increase my milk supply since I've been back to work
You give me hope 🙌🏼 I’m approaching month 2 and try to pump every 2-3 hours! I can relate to literally everything you said! I feel like my life is pumping! And I’m so hard on myself when I see supply’s like yours! My stock currently has 5 bags 😫 but like you said at least baby is being fed, not the freezer.
Me too. But then I figured out the hand free pumping machine, it's totally a game changer for busy mommies. Just wear it and do everything you need to do 💞
With this formula shortage, I'm planning ahead as to how I'm going to go about feeding my baby when he arrives. Originally I was going to try and breastfeed if possible but definitely wasn't going to beat myself over it if it just didn't come to me naturally and supplement with formula when needed as well as exclusively formula feed if my baby wasn't getting the nutrition he needed, as well as if my mental health was not doing well with the struggles and challenges of breastfeeding. But like I said, we are suffering a formula shortage, so I definitely want to learn as much as I can about breastfeeding including all the tips and tricks. So I'm BEYOND grateful to learn from your video, that I can actually exclusively pump! I never thought of that. I figured if you're pumping, then you HAVE TO breastfeed also. I loved how you said exclusively pumping was a great way to allow others to feed the baby and not just you. It reminded me of how when my sister-in-law had her first baby (12 years ago) and she had to always leave with the baby to breastfeed and we didn't get to visit as much, with them. She would be there but just in a different room a lone (she never felt comfortable to publicly breastfeed) and it made her feel so isolated at family gatherings. So this video not only opened my eyes to an option I never thought of, but it's giving me hope that when my little one arrives, I may be able to offer my breast milk even if it's not directly coming from my breast. I have a lot of family members that have offered to help me and my partner settle in when the baby arrives, which I'm grateful for since my partner only gets 2 weeks for paternity leave 😥. So being able to have others feed my breast milk to my baby while I eat, shower, dress etc, would be super helpful! Wish me luck, when in a couple months I start my breast pumping journey!
I know this is an older video but OMG! I cried when you said you felt like you couldn’t do it. This was so real and SO helpful. I’m crying 😭 thank you 🙏🏽
To the moms that want to eat a bit healthier... some things I've found helpful is having good, healthy things available to snack on! I like keeping lactation cookies, protein balls, oat muffins ect on hand as well as things like nuts, meat, cheese and yogurt... it definitely helps my milk supply having milk producing snacks around and I'm much quicker and happier eating healthy if its easy! Another tip is oat milk has been very helpful for me and its very easy to make and taste much better than the bought stuff! Happy nursing mamas🥰
I’m so glad I found this video. My baby is almost 4 weeks and I’m able to pump enough milk for her but I feel like it’s not enough after some pump sessions. So this definitely helps. And yes, we are feeding our kids, not the fridge.
I’m so glad I found this, my son is 12 days old and I’ve been struggling with breastfeeding and pumping 😭 I feel like I’m failing my son but I’m trying my hardest 😩
Everything this girl says in the video is accurate...everyone is capable of nursing...with my 1st I "couldn't produce milk" (I didn't try as hard)...my 2nd baby I was pumping every 2 hrs and man I was able to nurse my baby for 14 months... the pumping is only for the first 3 months...hang on mama
@@l.s.u35 hi hope u can answer my question when u r trying to breast feed only by breast and also trying to get ur milk supply up do u nurse the baby when he/she is hungry plus u pump every two hours for example if i pump at 1 pm then feed the baby by breast at 2pm do i still try to pump at 3 or would i just make sure im either pumping of feeding every 2 hours.. i had trouble with my 1st two kids im on my 3rd and this time i found out i can get a good pump from my insurance so im hoping it will help me im just wondering how do i breastfeed full time at least for the 1st bit until a bottle wont disturb the baby wanting to latch and get my milk supply up by pumping. that is if its even possible to breastfeed full time and pump too? sorry so long i just really want to breastfeed naturally fulltime i felt like such a failure with my first two kids and really hope i can do better this time
@@ae3143 so basically every 2 hrs you either want to pump or breast feed but you gotta do either or... so say you breast feed at 1 then not until 3, then 5 and so on... like every baby they usually eat every 2 hrs but sometimes my son would sleep longer so I would then pump and just have that bottle read for when he woke up... but I never went longer than 2 hrs without stimulation on my breast... my baby was also a night sleeper he would only wake up every 4 hrs but I still woke up every 2 hrs 2 pump... hopefully this answer your question...its draining at first and hard and painful but after 2 months and half my milk supplies was consistent and I no longer had to rely on the pump for milk production...however I still used it to pump and refrigerate milk just In case of emergency and for my baby to have if I ever had to leave him anywhere...
Stumbled across your video when I feel like a failure for unable helping my daughter latch due to my c-section complication, we had to part ways for a week causing her to forget my breast, and by the time I recovered I found out that I couldn't handle the pain caused my baby's poor latch. So I decided to exclusively pump for her, but still I feel like a failure cause I cant produce many milk. This video really comforts me that it will get better by the time.
Thank you for this amazing video! I’m 27 weeks pregnant, you really helped me to stop worrying about my worries of breastfeeding You truly are an inspiration!
Oh my goodness thank you so much for posting this! It helped me immensely! I’m a first time mom and trying to breastfeed only and it’s definitely challenging and I have cried plenty of times thinking I couldn’t feed her but watching this video has helped put my mind at ease and I’m ready to keep trying.
I appreciate this video. I’m so tired of people saying “the more you put baby to the breast, the more you’ll make. There’s no such thing as not making enough.” People don’t realize it isn’t that easy for everyone. I didn’t make enough with my daughter despite latching her on demand and feeding constantly. Now I have even more of a challenge because I had a breast reduction last year. My son is 1 week old so I’m working on my supply now.
I'm a new mom, baby is 9 days old. I was about to give up on breast feeding till I watched your video. Can't wait to establish more milk and not give up even if it's hard :) 💕
I'm a new mom too. Baby is 3 weeks now! I felt the same way! You're not alone! It makes me feel good to know I'm not alone either. I did notice my milk is coming out more and more.
There are many factors in increasing amount of milk at home and found. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Hartlyn Milk Plan (google it if you're interested) it's the most useful plan that I've heard of. look at the interesting information .
Thank you so much for this video. I just give birth to my daughter 4 days ago and nursing wasn't easy for me at all. I feel so depressed that I never been my whole life. Almost giving up but when I tried to pump and got 1 1/2 fld Oz of milk I felt like that was my biggest achievement and now my goal is to increase my milk. Thank you for your video. It helps a lot! God bless to your family! xoxo
Fe Bie Nursing isn’t easy, and all the breast milk nazis don’t tell you that. If pumping makes you happy and baby is getting what she needs that’s amazing, if that’s not working for you formula isn’t this horrible thing so many make it out to be. I had a rough time because I am a serious overproducer, my kiddos would gag at letdown because there was just too much milk at once. You obviously love your little and want what is best for her, but remember what’s best is a fed happy baby and a happy mommy. She needs you to be happy and healthy and bonding well far more than she needs breast milk.
With him not wanting to nurse potentially because he has to work harder for it, I found that if I bring on a let down with the pump and switch to nursing my son, that does the trick!
100% feel better knowing you're exclusivity pumping not pumping and feeding bc I was super concerned with my supply and what I pump after a feed. Breastfeeding is an emotional rollercoaster
I'm an exclusively Pumping mom and my first is a month old in 2 days. She's eating 2.5oz every 2-3hrs and I'm pumping maybe 2oz. It's so hard! I have a crazy schedule and so timing everything around my pumps is hard! I totally get you when you say "oh, have to go home and pump. Oh can't hang out I have to pump. Oh wait when will the movie be over? Pause it I have to go get my pump stuff." it's horrible! I'm so stressed that I'm not making enough for my baby girl and I had this mentality that I could make my body have an over supply and stop at 4 months-ha! I think I shot myself in the foot because the first 3 days postpartum I dreaded Pumping because it was dry pumping and Hurt SO BAD! I couldn't nurse either because it was so painful for me and so for the first 3 days I barely got any pumps in just because I dreaded the pain so much. The first day I saw some colostrum leaking I flipped out and have been trying to do my best Pumping ever since. I know it's so important for my baby girl to have breast milk and whatever I can give her is better than nothing. It's so hard coming to terms with the fact that you might not be able to supply all your baby's needs and that's what is stressing me out the most. I applaud you for sticking to the every 2hr regime! I barely make that during the day! At night I'm so exhausted I'm sleeping through my alarms and her waking up every 4hours wakes me up and then I'm beating myself up "Gah! You missed that 1-3a.m. Pump! The most important one!" Exclusively Pumping is so much harder to do than I expected. I don't know how you stayed sane!
Melissa Frick keep going and don't give up! I am going through everything you described / feeling chained to the pump but keep at it, it will get better! I'm in my eighth week of pumping every 3 hours 8x per day (I have slept through middle of the night alarms too / so frustrating!) and finally started seeing an increase in ounces ... I have tried everything from Mothers Milk Plus pills + mothers milk tea + oatmeal + lactation cookies + as of last week, acupuncture ... my increase started around the same time i started taking the cookies and started acupuncture/ so it's got to be one of those!
Lisa Fulks thanks for the encouragement! I have noticed the teeniest bit of increase since I'm pumping 20 min then resting 10 and then Pumping another 10min when I can. Power pumps are hard for me to do because I'm so busy! And I'm trying to use everything in lactation cookies in my everyday food (oatmeal, flax seed, coconut oil) and am taking 3 different supplements. Nothing I'm doing is really increasing my supply it's just maintaining it. :( I'm 6wks pp so I'm hopeful that at 8wks something will kick into gear!
Lisa Fulks btw isn't it the most frustrating thing when your baby is sleeping 5-7hrs at night and you have to keep getting up anyway to pump?! Infuriating!
Melissa Frick oh my god yes!! I was just texting my inlaws to tell them my son slept a record 7 hours last night, but no reprieve for us mommies 😕 good luck to you!! It will get better in time! The pills and tea were just maintaining my supply too (so I was supplementing with formula) but after about a month of taking them + eating more oatmeal, eating the cookies and acupuncture it finally started to go up a bit ... fingers crossed for you!
Had same problem with the bottle flow acquaintance due to poor latch / inverted nipple initially. But with pumping and supplementing, we also stuck to breast feeding sessions as much a possible. Now he is 2 months and able to go full sessions of breast feeding without his tantrum throwing. ❤️❤️❤️ Patience ,persistence, and support. Also hydrating really helps. Especially warm water.. warm food .. This video is great! And really helpful. Knowing smone else go through the same makes one less mama confused 😊😊😄
Hey can you give me tips! Having the same issue One boob is flat 😢 she struggles to latch! And she doesn’t take everything out which makes our sessions long and she’s not even satisfied!
@@Sharie14 because when you fly you're really only allowed to have like 2 oz of anything. They're afraid it's some kind of bomb. Like only asked to bring travel size shampoo and soap too because of it.
Thank you so much for this video. My baby is 2 mos. I've been making enough for him. Plus able to pump 4-6 oz bottles. But not enough of them a day. I really want to fill my fridge and freezer. I'm going to follow your advice. Also thank you for saying that if we can only make enough to feed the baby that's just as good. I appreciate your other encouraging comment about how formula is ok too. This has been extremely helpful and reassuring. ❤
I cried in the doctors office all the way back home.... baby is now 3 weeks and thanks for your encouragement. I am starting to pump now hopefully that helps
+HAUSOFCOLOR Hi plz help me I have a new born baby and I have a milk but my milk not come out and my breast is soo hard like a stone and my breast too heavy and I want help how to make a soft my breast and easly come my milk plz plz help me plz
I’m so grateful I produce as much milk as I do. Good luck to all the mommies breastfeeding or planning to! You got this and if you don’t that’s ok too you’re not less of a women ❤️
My baby was able to breast feed after feeding tubes and bottles which I’m so grateful. With pumping I just can’t stand how time consuming it is, and when my husband is gone all day there’s no way to get around to it. I want to sleep not pump!! Kudos to you strong mommies, any way to feed is the right way!
I'm going to start pumping every 2 hours starting from tomorrow! I need to get my supply up 🤞 I find that when bubba is sleeping, I then try & pump. However, a few minutes in he wakes up and starts crying.. what do I do 😫 x
I drank Gatorade, protein shakes and lots of liquids. Always stay hydrated. I nursed all my children till a year old, by choice I could have continued but I had to go back to work.
Green papaya is rich in oxytocin which helps produce milk. As an Asian, I ate a lot of green papaya soup with chicken right after I gave birth (5 months later still eating it from time to time) The soup helped me get hydrated, the green papaya help my milk production and the chicken for protein.
I’m exclusively pumping now. Her story is just like mine. I’ve only been pumping like 4 times in a day for the past couple weeks. I’m making anywhere from 4-6 on each breast every pump. Then in the mornings about 8 or 9 ounces. I was pumping and breastfeeding. That was sooo difficult. My son also has a lip tie and tongue tie.
Thank you for the tips and for sharing your experience, I am currently having trouble in producing my milk. My preemie was still in the nicu for 4 weeks and what I did was just pumping while waiting for him to be able to nurse but after I encountered postpartum, now I want to increase it again. When I pump for an hour, I only get 50ml or less than that. This was my third day and thanks to my husband who’s been there for me with this journey, I want to feed my baby more and at the same time I hope that when I increase my milk again I could donate some to help other parents with preemie babies..
My boys are in their thirties now... My husband helped by getting the baby changed & ready at night. In the hospital one LPN said to me, Stop trying so hard! Relax and he’ll figure it out! And it was true. We were also encouraged to have a little beer. A small amount helps you relax, helps the let-down, and gives you fluid & calories. I had a very simple hand pump, just two nested cylinders, each with a flange at the top. This was easy to use one handed while the baby nursed. Frankly though, if I was awake in the wee hours, I’d use the pump on one side and manually on the other. The hand usually worked faster! Try not to get too hung up on amounts. At one point when one boy was ~20 months and only nursing a little, he caught a GI bug and had to be off all solid food. Almost instantly my supply returned to be plenty!
I can't express how much relieved to encounter this video! Thank you so much for sharing with us your situation in how you handle milk supply. Now I feel im not alone. It was quite stressful when my body started to produce less milk to even 2oz per day! My baby now is 5 weeks old and she also encounter the same situation like your son. During first 3 days my body wasn't making so much of milk so her weight dropped from 3.33 kg to 3.02 in just two days which it was quite alarming. Hence my doctor suggested to introduce formula at that age to prevent weight loss. Once my body get back to producing milk, she just won't latch as easy like before, I guess she got comfortable using bottle since it was much easier in getting milk. Now I'm motivated to increase my milk supply again so that I can switch back from formula to fully breastmilk. Wish me luck!
Omg I am soooo going to screen shot this comment and use it for later manipulation 😆 I NEED MY CHEESECAKE FOR BREAST MILK... that has to be the tastiest breastmilk flavor right there... Might have to already invest into cheesecake factory rewards or something 😂
I gave birth almost 2 months ago and my son never attached so I had to pump it was soo hard I use to cry all the time cause I was stressed I only produced about 2 oz a day it kill me and I gave up and when I tried again I couldn't anymore now I'm tired my son needs me to try harder now I started again about a day ago I'm surprised ita actually coming out again and thank you for all the tips it really helps
After c section I was unwell to care for my baby so he was not with me for 2 days. He was drinking formula the whole time it’s good nurse encouraged me to pump even it was painful and nothing was coming. After 2 days there was improvement I pumped and nurses began to give my son my milk. When he was united with me he didn’t latch at all he was crying all the time. Nurse asked me to keep trying I was successfully latching him with silicone . He was always asking for milk every hour than I decided to pump and feed him best decision ever now he is always full he is gaining weight and I am relieved that he is full and I don’t have to latch him for whole day.
Yes, so hard to establish the milk supply! I’m sorry to hear he didn’t want to breastfeed after the bottle. My daughter was introduced to the bottle in her first few days of life while in the NICU but still preferred breastfeeding over the bottle.
I just wanted to say thanks for making the video and sharing your routines and experiences. I breastmilk exclusively too and its harder because I go to work and travel like 2 hours to and from work every day. And I try to pump twice at work too, and even that is difficult to achieve in consistency. So yeah, watching you look so upbeat about pumping, makes me all positive and looking forward to the routine and not wanting to give up even though it is hard. Thanks again!
I was exclusively pumping when my baby was born at 31+6 and while he was in special care nursery at the hospital, we got to a point about week 3 of his life that I could breastfeed and pump. Now that we’ve been home for 7 weeks, I only breastfeed but have to get a stash up for when I go back to work in a few months. I’m sad I stopped pumping but it was just too tiring to pump when we got home coz bub had really bad wind and colic and as a result got reflux as well. Now that he’s just over 3 months old he’s settled down heaps and I’m starting to pump again ☺️ I love videos like this coz it helps motivate me to pump as much as I can for my boy 🤗 ps, your little one is adorable!
Honestly it’s so true!! 😭 in the beginning it’s soo hard but for me once I hit 3 weeks my milk finally started coming in. Stress less, eat and sleep lots will also help!!!👍🏻
I used to have enough milk to feed a village! With all my pregnancies I would start leaking at around 6 months pregnant. I didn’t have a hard time getting a good flow, I had a hard time drying up.
I needed to hear this. Exclusively pumping after a NICU stay because he just isn't an efficient eater. Hearing that exclusively pumping and even using formula is ok is EXACTLY what I needed to hear! THANK YOU!
"If I want to eat 12 cookies a day, I eat 12 cookies a day." Needed this. Breastfeeding and my body CRAVES cookies. I've felt so terrible about it until just now. Thank YOU!!
I'm back after becoming pregnant with my second boy, will be starting off exclusively pumping again this round and I'm so glad I came across this again. You helped me so much the first go around. 💙 Also I love the way you talk to him, he seems to really enjoy when you talk to him face to face.
Thank you so much, I cried the first time my baby had to use formula because I felt like a failure. But I'm continuing to pump and I so happy that he is gaining weight and looks healthy.
I’m so happy I stumbled upon your video! My baby was born 3 weeks early. I started pumping on day 1, when I was still recovering at the hospital. I’ve been pumping for 3 weeks, now, and I’m still not producing enough milk to feed my baby for 1 feeding. I’m trying things like lactation cookies, and drinking Body Armor. I’m also trying the methods that worked for my sister. I’m really hoping to be able to produce several ounces of milk every day so that we can feed our baby breast milk, exclusively. Fingers crossed!
You got this Jennalyn!!. I just gave birth to a baby boy @27wks. As you know with our babies being born so early our breast milk is DEFINITELY the best. My cervix started to thin at 20wks so I had an emergency Cerclage done. Very GREATFUL for it. I started pumping literally 4hrs after birth . With the meds they gave me it slowed my body down allowing me to carry my son to 27wks but it also slowed my milk production. Frustrated & yes feeling worthless but I didn't & will not give up. It's officially a week yeah my baby is a week old, I increased my water intake (I DON'T LIKE WATER), continued eating my fruits & my taking my prenatal vitamins & my supply is really picking up. This morning I got 14ML per breast so don't give up.! I put a heating pad on my breast for a good 5mins, massage it in a circular motion and massage while pumping and it's getting better and better..!!!!
i never felt like a bad mom because i couldn't breastfeed my baby... i felt like a bad mom because i breastfed my baby without feeling a connection and without enjoying it and being so angry while doing it because i felt like society needed me to do it even though i did not want to.... once i stopped my baby was a lot happier and then we created a bond because i was finally enjoying holding her.
Wow you’re so cute and I wish i had seen this video when I first had my baby! Was feeling like such a failure not able to establish supply! But now I’m preparing for my second baby and so glad I watched your video! Thank you.
Ohhhhh my your boy is too adorable!!! 😍 Anyone here struggled because their baby sleeps TOO much?? Honestly, my supply dwindles overnight as my baby from day one until now (4 weeks) sleeps for up to 5.5 hours at night, waking briefly for a feed and then back to sleep for hours. He is impossible to sleep feed.as I struggle to wake properly to pump and end up sleeping for the same time as him I am literally spending the whole of my daytimes putting him on the breast and pumping to reestablish my supply. 😩
I am due in April 2021 for my second child. And I didn't get to breast feed my first son much. And I feel very guilty about it. So I have been reading and watching all about increasing breastmilk supply. This video is so helpful. And when I look at all the packets of milk shown in this video I feel so motivated. Start to pump yourself with a electric or manual pump from the first day you got your baby , many times at day ! You will see how the milk will came a lot!
I have felt so horrible for not being able to produce enough for my twins. They started on formula for the first 2 weeks because they weee preemies & losing weight rapidly. 😢 then I got the okay to breastfeed & only 1 twin will take the boob. So pumping is essential but I’m only getting 5-8 ounces a day right now (week 3) 😭 that’s only 2.5 meals for my boys. This has helped so much!
I love how you talked about the soup! My husband is fillipino and a chef and he's been making me all kinds of healthy soup since I've been pregnant and I just know after my baby is here I'm gonna have more soup because the broth etc..and veggies are so healthy! I will definitely stay tuned to your Chanel
Julia Gray i was an aware of 1200ml in oz so i just google now and saw its 40 oz ..i think she meant 40 oz in one day and thats hugeeeeeee ..i literally produce 3 oz lol from one breast and other breast is smaller may be 1 oz ..working on that breast because my breast size are funny now one big one small ..😶
I combo exclusively direct nurse and exclusively pumped…my shifts are 2 full days at work and 4 days off. I was able to do this for a year with my first two babies. The first was a roller coaster ride on the struggle bus headed to sadtown fighting for every single ounce…we supplemented with formula and I had a wonderful friend donate her BM to me for my daughter. The second go around I felt way more prepared and had a great stash and was able to donate to others. The last time I pumped was three years ago so I’m just trying to refresh now before #3 is here in August. Thank you so much for all the details that I’ve completely forgotten!!
Thank you so much for your video, everything you’ve said, I was feeling the same, my milk supply is still less than 1 oz each time I pump but seeing your video give me hopes! And I feel better with your positive sharing and tips and advice. Thank you again for telling me it’s ok to exclusively pumping instead of exclusively breast feed. Baby has the same issue as Preston, she doesn’t want my boobies after introducing bottle at day 3.... :( but on the perks like you said, bottle feed allows other people to help out the feed and I can take a break.... ❤️❤️
I just had my fourth baby and oh man it’s a whole different world then my first three who latched and we breastfed for a year with each, my three week old needed to go to the NICU for a couple days at the beginning and so he and I have been working on latching but I am supplementing and realizing how hard pumping every two hours is!! I was very discouraged before this video and am encouraged to keep at doing my best at the two hour time - thank you for this very encouraging vid!!! It was what I needed today 💕
Hi. After your video I decided to not push my baby to breastfeesing anymore because it was a disaster :-). But I felt obligated to do so by my family, friends and other. Now I am only pumping and have much happier baby and much more milk. Thank you soooo sooooo much for sharing your experiences and wisdom. Sometimes obvious things arent that obvisous until we hear/see it from someone else which can encourage and reassure us that it is totally fine to do it our way.
Breastfeeding has been such a hassle for my 3 month old { today} 🎉 and I. I’ve tried everything in the book but it has been so hard. The first month after giving birth, I pumped so much milk but my doctors had me believe I was pumping for 3 babies (whatever that meant) they said I was over pumping and it wasn’t good for me. They told me to slow it down, weeks later I slowed it to only pumping 2-3 times a day as recommended which completely decreased my lactation. I have been so disappointed and stressed out for believing my lactation nurses and I feel like my baby is paying the price. Thank you so much for all your tips. Sending love to all moms out there... YOU GOT THIS MAMA.♥️😍🥰
A video on how you store your breast milk and good tips and tricks on things and ways to store it would be perfect!! I loved this video it helped a lot with the stress I was having about breastfeeding
@@stormyj-c7527 yea and i started taking the supplements and i think the oreos work better! They say chocolate is good for upping it too so maybe the combo 🤷♀️
Pumping is so exhausting. I tried doing it initially when my breast were too hard. But I found out that 30 min. pumping would give me 80ml. Whereas 30min. Breastfeeding would give more milk to my baby. I was tired & decided to invest that half an hour in eating healthy food. And now I do breastfeeding which is very convenient for me.

Hi. Came across this video in search for answers to increasing my milk supply. I am so thankful that you talked about your struggles with breastfeeding and deciding to exclusively pump. I can relate because post delivery I didnt have milk so we introduced the bottle to the newborn. I had severe breast engorgement as well which lasted for 4 days. When the engorgement subsided I tried to get my baby to latch on mu boob but by this time she prefers the bottle already. Thank you for telling your story and proving it is possible to give breastmilk even in a bottle.
Thanks for making the video! I’ve watched a few other videos here on TH-cam and yours has been the most helpful given my situation is similar to yours. I didn’t produce milk until 1 week after I delivered my son so we had no choice but to bottle and formula feed him. By the time I started producing milk, I barely made 1 oz each pumping session. I will give your method a try and be more diligent about pumping every 2 hours 👍🏼. It’s good to know and very motivating that if I work hard now that I won’t be tied to a pump every 2 hours for the entire 6 months.
Lindsay Dugan All her tips were spot on! it was really difficult to pump every 2 hours - Kudos to all the moms you are able to stick to the schedule. I ended up pumping every 3 hours. After a month, I went from producing 1-2oz a day to 8 oz a day. I was able to stay at 8oz a day and cut my pumping sessions down like she said (I dropped one of the night pumps and one of my daytime pumps). When I went back to work after 3 months, I had to drop all my night pumping sessions and only could pump 4x a day. that’s when my supply started dropping significantly. It went from 8oz to 6oz and then to 2oz. I hung in there until my son was 6 months old and then finally stopped pumping after that. At that point he was eating 30oz a day and my 2oz wasn’t worth the effort. In general, her method worked for me but I wasn’t disciplined enough to be tied to a pump all day long. Hence, I never made that much. Drinking lots of water and Gatorade also helps. I would mix my Gatorade with water to cut down on the sweetness but still give my body the electrolytes it needs to produce milk. I hope that helps.
I’m a dad and I don’t even make milk but I’m watching this for my wife who is struggling while she naps and hopefully this can help when she wakes up
Sorry but this is the sweetest thing I've ever seen
Well done dad!
Just trying to help it’s the only thing I literally can do being a man doesn’t mean you can’t relate to a woman my love for her is the reason we made a baby but it’s also the reason I try to go beyond to help in anyway I can ........ to all the men out there get in touch with your feminine side it will make you a better man
You’re a good man, father of the century! 😭
Aw, good job dad!
“Omg I feel like a horrible mom because I can’t feed my baby”.... my exact words to my husband a few days ago about our 8 week old. It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one that felt like this
Awwww 😢 I’m a few months away from having my first baby and I hope I can feed my baby too
Don't feel bad!
I felt the exact same way, and it can be so depressing 😩
Power to the women that can, but you shouldn't feel like less if a woman because youcan't. .
@@mariahopkins2276 absolutely! I hope y’all are doing great now!
Do you pump at night? And if not how do you avoid clogged ducts?
@@laurenpineiro4199 I did pump at night for the first 3 months. I just continued to stretch time in between my night pumps until I was pumping in the morning and no longer in the middle of the night. My highest output was never at night, it was always at 9am. I did have clogged ducts twice, but sunflower lecitin, hot showers, Epsom salt, and my la vie massager got rid of it in a day.
@@sabreen45 thank you!
How long was your pumping session ?

To all BF/pumping Mamas out there - you are doing AMAZING! I breastfed both of my children (my first for 6 months and my second for a year). I supplemented with my first and my second absolutely refused formula. I’m a working mom and barely got 10oz when I pumped when I got back to work. I was not a great milk producer, but my kids got what they needed. No matter what your situation is, your babies will be fine! Don’t stress!
thanks for this
10 oz is alot!!!

This was the video that helped me with my first baby 3 years ago. I have a 5 day old now and I’m starting with 8 pumping sessions and producing 2-3.5oz per session. I hope I establish the supply I established with my first. It was wonderful seeing her gain weight because of what my body Can do. Thank you
Breastfeeding is not as easy as it sounds thank you so much
TheLOPES life it is for some. One good tip is to let all preconceived notions good or bad out of your head and just relax and enjoy your baby.
Jessica Abraham I have the same problem aswell
A W wow, you did amazing and I’m glad you listened to what your instinct was telling you. I really want to breastfeed and I’m hoping if I do run into problems I can try to stay as calm as possible and persist through it. All the best to you. ❤️
My baby is 3 weeks and my milk is really low. I am pumping and only getting 40 ml total every 4 hrs (10-20 ml/ 2hrs). It's frustrating, my baby is having a reaction to formula and has breakouts on her face so I am trying to breastfeed her as much as I can.
Jessica Abraham omg this sounds like me except im still working on my milk supply increasing

Also having a good pump that fits you that's what I wish I would've realized
Where I live they say 8 hours at room temperature , 8 hours in fridge and 8 weeks in the freezer
@@himadrijoshiyou mean 8 days in the fridge?
Oana Trif thank you so much for this encouraging comment ❤️
You motivate me actually :( thank u
What you said is right 100%
My baby has a tongue tie. She was starving by day 7. Sometimes the journey needs a little more help from pumping, you know?
Kymera Stormwater Omgosh yes! Tongue ties are awful and our breastfeeding journey is not the same as others who’s babies don’t have tongue or lip ties.
I just finished exclusively pumping my baby for a year! It's hard stuff and you (+any other mom who pumps) deserves a freaking medal!

Pump and feed her😭😭😭😭😭 Sorry for shoving my novel down your throat😔😔
I'll make sure to visit kellymom.com for any advice😊😊
Thank you so so much for making this video, I'm so grateful and happy to know I'm not the only one whos breastfeeding journey was not perfect...
Btw, it's illegal to have a baby boy this cuuuuute😭😭😭
Victoria Villedrouin Good luck!
Omg this makes me feel so much better. I have to supplement and all the nurses at the hospital were making me feel awful for it!
I feel you same happened to me
The hospital refused to give me formula. It was mentally and emotionally scarring for me.
So glad I found this video. I am 6 weeks in and so frustrated trying to get my supply up. Thank you for making this - it gives me hope!
Oatmeal, yeast, garlic, and flaxseed helped me
Gianny Quartey how much flaxseed did/do you use? I’ve just started making fenugreek tea and been having oats and dill seed tea too
garlic doesn't

i watched this video a day ago while nursing and i was SO discouraged because i wasn’t producing enough, i watched this video and now i’m producing so much! keep going at it mamas, don’t give up! i’ve been staying hydrated as well as pumping every 2 hours and it has definitely helped my milk supply! thanks for this video!
Bless anyone who has time to pump 8 times a day. I literally have no help to achieve this.
Same here. I don't even have time to brush my teeth.
Same here.
Yea I can’t imagine doing this with my newborn
Me too. But then I figured out the hand free pumping machine, it's totally a game changer for busy mommies. Just wear it and do everything you need to do 💞
Me too. I can't pump 8 times a day.
I have a 2.5-month-old baby and I feel exhausted, weak, and clueless! This video is very helpful. You just said the words those I feel every day now!
Hey how do you make oat milk at home without it turning slimy
I’m so glad I found this video.
My baby is almost 4 weeks and I’m able to pump enough milk for her but I feel like it’s not enough after some pump sessions. So this definitely helps.
And yes, we are feeding our kids, not the fridge.
I’m so glad I found this, my son is 12 days old and I’ve been struggling with breastfeeding and pumping 😭 I feel like I’m failing my son but I’m trying my hardest 😩
Same here except I have a daughter
I am going Through the same feeling. Did your milk come eventually?
I’m 27 weeks pregnant, you really helped me to stop worrying about my worries of breastfeeding
You truly are an inspiration!
You got this Alyssa! Drink a ton of water! When you go to pump, down a bottle! Good luck on your journey and congrats on your son!
HAUSOFCOLOR thanks so much! I’m actually already seeing an improvement in a day since seeing your video! You’re awesome! 🥰
I'm a new mom, baby is 9 days old. I was about to give up on breast feeding till I watched your video. Can't wait to establish more milk and not give up even if it's hard :) 💕
Pamela Aguirre good luck don't give up Just Keep Nursing (pumping) ur will come in
Uh
Pamela Aguirre yes don't give up msg me anytime for help
one that works like miracle is more milk plus capsules and fenugreek seeds capsule... take 2each twice a day and it will do the magic.
I'm a new mom too. Baby is 3 weeks now! I felt the same way! You're not alone! It makes me feel good to know I'm not alone either. I did notice my milk is coming out more and more.
I have no children!! I'm literally just watching to see you and Preston he's such a cutie pie!! 😂
Awww thanks, we're doing an update video soon!!
HAUSOFCOLOR how many time did you pump at night
There are many factors in increasing amount of milk at home and found. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Hartlyn Milk Plan (google it if you're interested) it's the most useful plan that I've heard of. look at the interesting information .
London Taylor my little one is 5 mths and he will only nurse no bottles at all and he is stuck to me like glue, lol
I'm researching inceasing amount of milk naturally and discovered a fantastic website at Hartlyn Milk Plan (check it out on google)
Beth Dickerson thanks for the tip!
First time father my son's due any day and I'm nervous I hope the breast feeding goes well with baby Luka and my wife .
All the best
Any update?
Praise Life Worship Life CA We have a baby Luca too!! 😍❤️ Hope yours is good now!!
Pump! The most important one!"
Exclusively Pumping is so much harder to do than I expected.
Melissa Frick I hear you on the power pumps too ... it's so hard to find the time / we're slaves to the pump!
You did an amazing job. If only the nurses were this sweet, in depth and passionate.Thank you :)
Having the same issue
One boob is flat 😢 she struggles to latch! And she doesn’t take everything out which makes our sessions long and she’s not even satisfied!
Throwing away 1000 oz?!?!?!? Yea, I would have canceled my flight, shipped my milk and caught another flight
Tay Mccants same
Why do they make you dump it?
@@Sharie14 because when you fly you're really only allowed to have like 2 oz of anything. They're afraid it's some kind of bomb. Like only asked to bring travel size shampoo and soap too because of it.
@@sarahsanyasi3972 that's tough
There is an exception for breastmilk though. You can bring as much as you need and they just test it.
I am starting to pump now hopefully that helps
this video has absolutely no practical use for me i just LOVE YOUR PRECIOUS SON

I need to get my supply up 🤞
I find that when bubba is sleeping, I then try & pump.
💐Years ago, cheesecake helped me produce more milk in my mammary glands.
Struggling right now my baby boy is 1 week and 2 days. This has really helped me thank you. 🤗

@@sonymani5120 hi friend
I have consistently pumped over 50 oz a day somedays up to 70oz. That's why I lose 20 kg within 5 months after delivering!
Which pump did you use?
They used preemie nipples so baby had to work the same amount as when you breastfeed
How to sleep lots😭😭
i learned it’s because the baby’s stomach is so small from the size of a marble to a golf ball. so your body knows not to produce much
I used to have enough milk to feed a village! With all my pregnancies I would start leaking at around 6 months pregnant. I didn’t have a hard time getting a good flow, I had a hard time drying up.
Jacqui TheGreat Any tips on how you had so much milk supply ? Was it from your diet orrrrr ? It’d gladly help me ✨
Same girl❤I am trying to make a freezer stash for an upcoming trip but have exclusively breastfed for 9 months.
Thank YOU!!
I made homemade lactation cookies if you want the recipe! 😆

But I'm continuing to pump and I so happy that he is gaining weight and looks healthy.
girl youre a milk factory 🍼🍼 cant wait to be a mom one day
Nina Cubana same have not even hit puberty yet lol I’m weird
No entiendo nada
Thank you.
If you don't have help it's just not realistic to pump every 2 hours.
Ohhhhh my your boy is too adorable!!! 😍
Anyone here struggled because their baby sleeps TOO much??
Honestly, my supply dwindles overnight as my baby from day one until now (4 weeks) sleeps for up to 5.5 hours at night, waking briefly for a feed and then back to sleep for hours. He is impossible to sleep feed.as I struggle to wake properly to pump and end up sleeping for the same time as him I am literally spending the whole of my daytimes putting him on the breast and pumping to reestablish my supply. 😩
That baby is so adorable!!! His cute smiles had me so happy 🥰🥰🥰
How tf ????!!!!! I need this much milk in my breasts right now
1) pump consistently🤲
2) stay hydrated🥛
3) satisfy our body with food 😍✅💯
4) sleep 😍🛌
5) manage stress
6) get supports from the lactation experts
I have a 2 year old and I'm pregnant. I'm watching to see if I can make my life with breastfeeding easier. Feeling hopeless though
I am due in April 2021 for my second child. And I didn't get to breast feed my first son much. And I feel very guilty about it.
So I have been reading and watching all about increasing breastmilk supply. This video is so helpful. And when I look at all the packets of milk shown in this video I feel so motivated. Subscribing to this channel
1200ml per day? That's amazing 😲
Would love to see a boyfriend/baby father video 😍
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.... THIS VIDEO!!!
Has made increasing my breastmilk supply that much easier & a lot less stressful.
“If I want to eat 12 cookies a day, I’ll eat 12 cookies a day.” Lol that’s me right there too.
Very helpful video, thank you!
Oreos have an igredient sunflower lechtin which helps bring up the thicker fore milk and prevents clogged ducts!
Barbara Marie MUA …Thanks, for mentioning that. I wasn't aware & that is very helpful to know. OREO's here I come....
@@stormyj-c7527 yea and i started taking the supplements and i think the oreos work better! They say chocolate is good for upping it too so maybe the combo 🤷♀️
This is so true! Your body just burns it off!
Barbara Marie MUA for real?! ☺️🥛
Aww, he's cute😍. Can't wait until my baby come in 2020 ❤

Finally I found someone who exclusively pumps and had helpful info ! 🙏
The whole video I wanted to hug your adorable baby! He's so precious!!
@rxmach my situation is really similar to yours. How's pumping going for you after implementing this routine?
