Exactly this happened to me. I thought I was strong and I could handle it. Moreover I was curious too. Aastagfirullah. And then I got trapped. I couldn't stop myself, though I wanted to. I prayed a lot, seeked Allah (s.w.t)'s help, did everything I could to stop. Finally I am out of those sinful act. I ask forgiveness and I am ashamed of what I did. I am still filled with guilt, my heart feels so heavy. But I believe Allah will take all of these away and heal my soul and protect me from evil.

In Islam, there is no conflict between faith in God and modern scientific knowledge. Indeed, for many centuries during the Middle Ages, Muslims led the world in scientific inquiry and exploration. The Quran itself, revealed 14 centuries ago, contains many scientific facts and imagery that are supported by modern findings.
The Quran instructs Muslims to "contemplate the wonders of creation"(Quran 3:191). The entire universe, which was created by Allah, follows and obeys His laws. Muslims are encouraged to seek knowledge, explore the universe, and find the "Signs of Allah" in His creation. Allah says:
"Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of ships through the ocean, for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth; here indeed are Signs for a people that are wise" (Quran 2:164)
For a book revealed in the 7th century C.E., the Quran contains many scientifically-accurate statements. Among them:
      Creation
"Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, then We split them apart? And We made from water every living thing…" (21:30).
"And Allah has created every animal from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four..." (24:45)
"See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it? Truly that is easy for Allah" (29:19).
      Astronomy
"It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. All (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course" (21:33).
"It is not permitted for the sun to catch up to the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day. Each just swims along in its own orbit" (36:40).
"He created the heavens and the earth in true proportions. He makes the night overlap the day, and the day overlap the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon to His law; each one follows a course for a time appointed..." (39:5).
"The sun and the moon follow courses exactly computed" (55:5).

This is a proof itself when Muslims followed Islam Allah gave them victory and ease.
When Muslims left Islam then Allah is punishing then like now.
Science is evolving everyday so we cannot rely on it.
The modern science was developed by Muslims in the light of Quran and hadeeth(saying of prophet Muammad PBUH).
      There are uncountable proofs.

Spot On brother. It's one vicious circle. Once your pulled into the Devils circle, it becomes Very, Very, Very hard to leave. Your heart is marked with a tiny black spot each time you sin. As the sins accumulate, so do the little tiny black spots, until One day your heart is pitch black and no light can enter. At this stage, you are in Deep and the best (Only) way to clean (purify) your heart is to Repent sincerely. Also to do Zikr (Remembrance of God) and ask for his mercy, only then is it possible for the heart to purify itself with the Noor (Light) of God. I kindly ask you to pray (Dua) for Me pls and all Ummah dear respected brothers/sisters.

I remember watching this lecture a year ago. So at that time I enjoyed watching lectures of Nouman Ali and it really motivated me to be a good muslim. But at that time I wasn't really putting effort into it, still listening to music, watching romance kdramas and wasting time here and there. And I was listening to this lecture, the 30 mins part on Bayyinah channel with my headset on, on the way somewhere. I could relate to it especially the earlier part, where I feel I procrastinate leaving the bad stuff and yeah I was actually starting to grow doubts and I feel like man, this is so messed up and how can this lecture be so, on point? haha. But then, there came the part where ust Nouman said the name of the people and I thought I was hallucinating hahaha. Because my name is Jainab and he called my name and he was just basically describing my situation at that time hahaha. That's my story that I wanted to share. It's nothing important, but I always feel confused and in awe how these lecturers and reminders can be so, like on time, on point, and just, I don't know like it was destined to reach me or something idk. Well anyway, thanks for coming to my ted talk lol

Over Christmas there were many movies on tv. So I would quickly do my prayers or only pray fard so I could carry on watching the movie. After the Christmas holidays had passed I realised how bad I was and getting back to my normal religious routine was extremely hard. I couldn't concentrate on my prayers, I stopped watching Islamic videos on TH-cam and stopped learning surahs and more about Islam. Even though I didn't go partying and mix with the wrong crowd or do anything like that, TV was the one that led me astray.

I was scared of thinking about afterlife so i ignored to gain Knowledge about it most of the time. I suddenly realised my body & mind is praying but my heart wasnt responding. Am so thankful to Allah (swt) to provide me the right information on time, send good people around me, showed me content which restored my heart & also my fear about afterlife is gone. Now i just wanna work on me, to be a better person & a better human also wanna worship Allah all by my heart. Allah might bless us all & show the path of light

No one loses faith until Allah wants him to. You can be in any company and do anything for as long as you can but still will not lose your faith if Allah wants you to remain in faith. So just pray that Allah be merciful towards you and doesn't abandon you. And indeed Allah is the most merciful, more than we can even imagine. All praise be to Allah, the most merciful. Glory to Allah the most forgiving. Allah saved me, I pray that he saves everyone.

    1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
    2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
    3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari)
    4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim)
    5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
    6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
    7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
    8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
    9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
    10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
    11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
    12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
    13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
    14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Surah mulk, Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
    15. Say this 3 times after fajr salah for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhanallahi Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zinata ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

I started wearing hijab a week ago. I got some negative feedback in school and some weird stares. Before I got more into islam, I got a bellybutton piercing. I see a lot of girls in bikinis and short clothing with bellybutton piercings on social media lately and all I can think about is that I have to cover up in summer. I love wearing hijab but I feel like my faith in Allah is slowly fading:( Covering up was never a problem to me. But all of sudden I feel extremely under pressure. I’ve also been kinda lazy the past 3 days. Haven’t prayed today:( I feel so guilty about it but I also don’t have much motivation to change it yk.
It’s really hard to become religious these days
Please help me with getting better. Please make dua for all our sisters for struggling like me

What if I am in Fitna because of the Mental illness like Depression because the bad environment is my family and I still live with them. Its a long story but I try to pray more . I hurt myself and I have depression because since I was child no one showed me care or showed me real love, and I had to know it by myself. I had no one to return to and when I was a kid I didn't know much or at all the effects of praying no body told me these things, like I said I was very alone, but now I Know, . I hurt myself to express my intense emotions that I have no one to talk to about, and I would feel too guilty to pray. But I will keep going to pray please brothers and sisters I know what I am doing is wrong but I can't control it as its a mental illness . I just hope to get out of this with praying to Allah

hey, this is an old comment but what you said about feeling too guilty to pray, really hit home. But the truth is, Allah is the most forgiving. No matter how many or what sins you commit, the fact that you feel guilt is a blessing, ut shows that your Iman is still there. Once you pray and ask for forgiveness, it motivates you to really change and feel better about yourself, rather than not praying and instead turning back to your destructive cycle of sins. Inshallah we are all guided to the right path, ameen❤️

At the end 6:28, the worldly desires was in green color which looks like that it's a right thing to choose, for the next time use red or black colors to differentiate that as a loss of aakirah.
