Great video! Just to add a point about these. I have been using a set for gigging for about 6 months now and found them great.
I have just started a fun band with friends and we play in my garage and I actually now own 1 transmitter and 5 receivers all paired. It means we all get the same mix, but can rehearse basically in silence. I run a 12 channel analog mixer, plug everything in (3 mics, 2 guitars DI through pedals, bass through a Spark Go, electric drums, and even music through a Spark 40). Plug the transmitter into the headphone out on the mixer and everyone hears the full output. It works amazing! Not individual mixes but for what we are doing it’s great. Just thought I’d throw this in as I think it’s a great way to use these!

I love this stuff and your general support/information on these cheaper options. It's real advice for both real and hobby musicians who often don't have a bunch of money to spend on fancy stuff.

I am pleasantly surprised with Lekato's wireless guitar system - got their dirt cheap basic one about a year ago and use it daily between practicing at home and at rehearsals. Has never let me down and the battery is holding up really well.

That’s good to hear! Long term battery life is hard to gauge for this kind of thing so thanks for sharing your experience.

Love that you show products that not only the 1% can afford. 🤣 Always great videos, Droo.

Hey man, love your videos and have bought this. Definitely not in a position to need a fancy IEM but definitely curious. I am wondering, why do many of your bands choose to use IEMs in a rehearsal situation? Is it just to reduce the amount of gear, amps etc? In a small room, seems like small amps/monitors might actually be easier than dealing with custom mixes for everyone

It’s to practice like you perform. Getting used to hearing things in this way is helpful in working through potential issues. It’s also nice for me to not have to pack an amp.

Yoo that psychedelic country sound is literally my vibe! Now just mix in some Grateful Dead.
I never liked to play on IEMs cuz I like to feel the music coming from the amps and that leads me somewhere else than when it's just in my ears and the PA. But I know it's not always a good idea.
Also, regaridng the clipping footage, I managed to fix one such situation (which was more distorted than this, even) using an Izotope RX software trial, so you still might be able to salvage some of the loss.

If only it were just clipping! Unfortunately this is more of a bad cable situation. Glad you like the music though! Should have our first recording done very soon!
