I started learning it. I am around like 1 Minute in after 2 days and that's where it suddenly it gets harder, very excited to see what you have to say to master this piece

At 23:34 I am having a bit of a problem in left hand when the G major chord starts to go back I feel that my hand gets very stiff. Do you have a tip which would fix that

Typically you get tensed when you don’t know the notes well enough. If you’re consciously prepping your hands to play things correctly, that’s what gets you stiff. There’s no quick magic to fix this except to play at such a slow pace such that you can play it perfectly, even if it means 1 second per 16th note. Once this gets built in to muscle memory, you’ll feel that you’re forearms becomes more and more loose (good thing). My experience with this particular piece, even I had to rely on muscle memory. If I were to consciously play each note individually, that would tense me up as well (at full speed). 2nd tip, don’t ask Reddit. From r/piano, every time this comes up, people will say it’s because you’re not relaxed enough, you’re doing something wrong, I doubt if they actually play piano for making those comments. It’s true that if you don’t have the right posture, that’ll contribute to this, but mainly it’s just familiarity with the notes.

@@RichardYangPiano Oooh. You are right i was playing them consciously. I will practice that part slowly as you said. I have also noticed that majority of people on reddit on r/piano are the ones who have very less experience or like have never touched the piano. I rely on youtubers who makes tutorials just like you. And it helps me every time. Thank you❤️❤️
