- Tila is currently in a shelter in Kensington, PA. She's struggling with a drug addiction as well. She opens up about it all, including how she relapsed after having 15 years clean. She also talks about her daughter and their relationship as of now. It's dangerous in Kensington, and she would like to start working towards getting out of there and back to her family.

When she gets clean and gets her life together I can see her helping others. She could be a counselor she's been there. I wish her the best. 🙏
It's soul crushing to relapse after 15 years. I feel for her, and let's hope she tries again.
I've seen Tila in other interviews. I really like her and she has such a kind heart. Wishing you the best sweet girl!!!
She really does have a kind heart. I'm really rooting for her!
I think she tries more than others
I at different times of my life was treated with kindness and compassion.
Addicts don't need to be judged. None of us have walked in her shoes.
Great conversation.
You're absolutely right. Thanks so much for supporting the channel, Melody. It's truly appreciated. 🙏
I like motivational interviewing if a person has no experience with addicts it helps. Judgement doesn’t help or persuade anyone to change. It makes makes me want to flee.
I can’t imagine feeling so bad about things (perhaps it’s the physical symptoms and being sick) to inject something you know is going to rot your flesh. Perhaps they are so physically sick and that’s all that’s available to get them well.
@karendalsadik7119 It's definitely wild. I'm not sure either. I guess maybe the addiction is so powerful that they just do it anyway. Or maybe they think that part of it won't happen to them. That's a good question, though. I've even seen some people inject it into their open wounds. That's wild.
@karendalsadik7119 Agreed. I was also addicted to drugs for 18 years myself. I've been homeless, in and out of treatment centers, and prisons, etc. I just hit 10 years clean in April. I totally understand where you're coming from.
She has a positive attitude and good outlook. I hope she gets clean.
moving out of the jungle shes in would not hurt.
@@lilfairycupcake For sure, George. She definitely needs to get out of that hell hole.
@@unheardvoices_official getting away from the source of the problem is a good thing. its like leaving, or removing, a toxic person from your life.

Awesome, interview my Friend I love your channel she was clean for 15 years she can do it again God Bless her. ♥️🙏♥️
I always appreciate your support, Jackie. And you're right. She can definitely do it again. 🙏
@@unheardvoices_official You’re, Welcome🙏♥️
I've seen Tila in other interviews in the past. She looks tired and not in a good shape. I like her very much, she's a sweetheart, and I hope she finds her way back to a healthy life. All the best to you, Tila.
I've seen a few people post about her being in other videos. Some say she looks better in this one. Some say she looks worse. I haven't seen the interviews. I'll have to check them out. She really is a sweetheart. I hope she finds her way back as well, Dietrik. 🙏
I’ve seen her myself on other videos, I hope she gets out of these streets ❤
Jesus Christ, guys.. Be nice.
She is not putting the blame on her daughter. She is describing what happened in her life that got her there. Imagine thinking that you are gonna lose your daughter several times. And starting to blame yourself for it. Bet she's been there.
None of us KNOW what it feels like to be her, but more than likely she is not loving life. And she wasn't either when she started using.
This is a human being. You don't see her when she is at her worst and all the worries come crashing down on her.
And she has a bit more than the average youtube-commenter to worry about, I imagine.
Listen and don't judge.
Plato/Sokrates' "I know that I know nothing" applies when you interact with people and hear their stories as well. People usually have really good reasons for their actions or things they have done.
It especially applies if you haven't gone through addiction yourself. It's more than just "not using".
Well said!
Ok I was really going to say the I’m not copying lol. Very well said.
Well said…..I agree with you 100%. I struggled with opiate & cocaine addiction for over 20 years & finally clean almost 5 years.. It is possible. ❤
@andreaeady8000 That's amazing, Andrea. Congratulations on getting clean. That's a huge accomplishment, and you should definitely be proud of yourself. I was addicted to drugs for 18 years myself and just hit 10 years clean back in April. I totally get it. Thanks so much for supporting the channel. It's definitely appreciated. 🙏
Literally people have no sympathy. Just cause she’s an addict doesn’t mean she’s not human. She has feelings.
a perfect example of why i stayed away from drugs/alcohol. very sad situation she put herself in.
It's definitely a sad situation. I'm hoping she manages to get out of there and gets the process started of taking her life back. While it is sad, I know that change is possible. I was addicted to drugs myself for 18 years. I just hit 10 years clean back in April. I'd love to see her get there as well.

Tila seems pretty well not stable, not at all but she at least has it a little together right now. But that stuff will age you fast. God bless her.❤🙏. And I wish her nothing but the best.
Tila talks with such smarts about her, I only hope that she can get out of that life because I would hate for something to happen to such a sweet person, and she is, I truly believe that.🙏🙏
@@jeanpeterman5314 She really is smart. I hope she manages to get out of there. 🙏
She resembles Tilda Swinton.
She does a tad bit.
Sad, seems like a lovely soul ❤
I wish she won’t blame her daughter’s mental illness on her relapse..
🙏
It isn’t her daughter’s fault but she can have feelings about it. It maybe didn’t cause it. But it didn’t help her mental state.
I pray she manages to get her life together the streets are dangerous
The streets are definitely dangerous. I prayvsge manages to get her life together, too. 🙏
People are so lucky to have any good family.
I sometimes don't understand how people can end up so bad even having good family.
Most of my relatives especially my mother have been very psychopathic and narcissistic and abusive and neglectful to me my whole life.
They've been trying to destroy me my whole life. They wouldn't give a crap if i was in this place dying.
I ended up in the hospital a year and a half ago and about died from low sodium levels and nobody including family knew or cared.
If mom would've found out she would be disappointed I didn't die.
Im not exaggerating at all and I've thought of going somewhere like this and do a lethal hit and get it over with even though I don't this stuff they do.
@russellm7530 I'm sorry you had to go through all of that with your mom, as well as the rest of your family. I couldn't imagine what that's like. Don't go to a place like this and do a lethal hit. You're important here, and your story is powerful. Keep on shining and showing people your strength.
I am from Philly and Kensington is always had problems back in the 60s. It was hoffers, they used to Huff. The paint and a little marijuana. There's always been problems on Kensington. App, it's just so sad to see.
Let me get this straight, in two and a half years she couldn't get it together to get a tire?& that's why she's there🙄
Exactly....that's her choice. If she's up walking around then she can get a job. I don't feel sorry for someone who has the means to better their situation.
@@native989would you hire her? It is very easy to judge, but once you present in a certain way, no matter how you try a lot of doors are closed. I hear this argument in Ireland a lot, but our social welfare system is pretty good but in the US they give you fcuk all, so the why don't they get a job bullshit is not so convincing. Look at the cranq issue, it is basically the same symptoms as bubonic plague, from contaminated drugs and whatever tf they have put in what these people thought was what they were buying and it takes a few weeks before your body and brain is so infected and destroyed that they literally can't bear the pain without self medicating. And it is all using street drug victims as guinea pigs and spreaders of pharmash1t
@@native989she couldn't jump on a bus? Her kids probably came home from school to find her gone.
Addict and excuses go hand in hand…as does the victim story for “donations”
God Bless her we hope you get yourself together

I do not think I have met one addict on the street interviews, that did not have wisdom to share. This young woman in PA is a beautiful soul. Take a look at the behind the scenes stories on WHO BENEFITS from high drug addiction, money flow and deliberate destruction of humanity. This is far bigger than it seems. Good interview and lovely woman, bless her.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Wendy. You're right about all you said. These people addicted to drugs definitely have a lot of wisdom to share. A lot of them are highly intellectual and intelligent. I was addicted to drugs myself for 18 years. I just hit 10 years clean back in April. And I totally agree with you on the bigger picture. The money flow and profitability are all you need to follow.
Thanks so much for supporting the channel. It's definitely appreciated.
I love her eyes and her eye expression when she is waiting for another question
This interviewer seem genuinely interested nice to see that.
@myssilightful Thanks so much for the kind words and noticing that. It means a lot. I was addicted to drugs myself for 18 years. I've been homeless, in and out of treatment centers, etc. I've walked in their shoes. I just hit 10 years clean back in April and strive to let their voices be heard and let them know that change is truly possible.
Well spoken woman! Hope she uses her common sense!,,
I wish they had good programs for addicts. They need good direction. Hopefully this girl will become clean and stay clean. She sounds very bright.
Hang in there tila..I'm proud of you..I hade 14 years and lost my time as well..if I could I'd bring you flowers and a hug.. don't pay attention: 0:26 to the people.. judging you..the have no idea what the hell they are talking about. I went through some heavy tough times times..my house burned down ..lost 30 of my paintings paintings I painted...then I had a a very painful health issue..and 0:26 no choice 0:26 but had no choice but to pound Norco for months ..and that was the end of my soberity...almost back..love Rhett
Great words, Rhett. I'm sorry to hear about all that you went through, but I'm glad to hear you're still pushing forward. You got this.
I guess everyone takes things differently bc when my son was going through depression it was a bigger reason to stay clean
She seems sweet. 😢
Tila is not looking her best, especially given that she has had housing for awhile. Sad.
I hope she manages to get out of there.
right, and they help you with everything you need, so theres absolutely no reason why shes filthy and her clothes are covered in filth…
She definitely looks better since being in the shelter!!! She was in the hospital before she got in shelter. She was very very sick!!

@sarahdicola712 Hopefully, she gets it together.
Easy to get clean hard to stay clean, meetings An steps you can’t do it alone
good luck lady.
She's so beautiful ❣️✌️

Lame excuses as to why she is in Kensington. Then to put the reason for relapse on her daughter. Take some ownership.
I see your point. I don't know that she wasn't necessarily taking ownership. A lot of people who get clean are teetering on the edge as it is. They don't really know how to handle and manage stress well, and when something outcof the ordinary happens, they resort back to what they know.
She has a mother who would do anything for her.. she really has no excuse. Except to keep using
@denabeebe1888 That's often the sadest part about all of these situations. The collateral damage that addiction causes is really sad. I was addicted to drugs myself for 18 years. I also had a mother who would've done anything in this world for me. She loved me through it all. She was there for ne when nobody else was. I've been homeless, in and out of treatment centers, and in prisons. I put her through more bs than she should've ever had to go through. Unfortunately, she passed away while I was in prison. It destroyed me. I lost her while I was going through the hardest time of my life. All she ever wanted was for me to get clean. She was the most amazing woman with the kindest soul. She devoted her entire life to me. I just hit 10 years clean, though, back in April, and none of it would've been possible without her. Hopefully, Tila realizes the love her mom has for her before it's too late. Hopefully, she doesn't have to live with the same regrets I live with.
@@unheardvoices_official I’m in recovery ❤️🩹 too . My family disowned me.. I got through tho! I have a great relationship with my father and my kids now ! Thank god! Congratulations on your sobriety ❤️ thank you for your respectful interviews
It would have been nice if she had said I was stressed over my daughter ..,, If her daughter is in college doing ok how can that be the reason she is relapsing.
She looks young and old at the same time. How old is she ?
I don't understand the representatives of the state of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Are not doing your job and taking care of Kensington.Have it has always been an ongoing problem?Like I said, I'll wait back in to 50s and 60s.It's always had problems

If she went to the moon as an astronaut and stuck there for battery failure, then how long would she get stuck there? [Physics, part-1]
Good analogy.
Almost sounds like Trumps consideration of batteries in a boat electrocution and sharks in the water. I think he’s a shark but need to apologize to sharks?!!!!
@@karendalsadik7119 BOOOOOOO!!!
Yea she was not stuck...it was her choice...there is so many places that would have helped her get money for a tire...day labor...donate plasma...odd jobs...even pan handling...there is no excuse for not being able to get a tire and battery for 15 years! I mean she gets money for dope.
She’s been on Jeff’s channel sobriety should be conditional for housing she looks worse now her mom always talking Jeff too
I've heard she's done some other interviews, Barbara. I haven't seen them yet. I'll definitely have to check them out.
Why demand more from the mentally ill addicts (full sobriety) than from everyone else? The average person will use certain substances (alcohol, caffeine, prescription drugs, entheogens, cannabis etc.) without risking homelessness. Why demand more from the marginalized people?

What are, abscesses?
They are usually caused by bacteria infections. They can turn into really bad wounds and lead to infection if not treated.
They are like staff infections, open wounds
