Crying watching this. Last time i rode this was with my grandparents when they were still here. Its great to be able to re live and remember those moments
AHHH I am SO happy with this footage! Especially showing the audience members and their excitement. Not just for the footage, but reminding us what happened during the pitstop and what it felt like to be hit from all sides in the car. This is wonderful, thank you for uploading this!
I F!%? LOVED this ride! And the Avalanche! I really wish that still had this! My favorite part was when you went into the pit stop and they jacked you up.
@Kings Island, I remember this ride! It was one of my favorites. Days of Thunder was one of my favorite rides. Then came A License To Thrill James Bound ride. That ride was just epic. Then after that I felt like it changed. I wish they would have just kept the classics going to just switched off between those two rides that I loved.
I think I remember when the action theater was themed to 007, SpongeBob, and some random movie that I can’t remember anything about. I hope KI does something with it next year rather than just leave it there for most of the season.
This was always very fun. I hope Action Theater can be brought back to life one day. Maybe add another ride back there as well so get more people in the area. It's cool to be in the between the two sides of Racer.
Would be nice, with at least thirty laps worth of in car footage to really make it legit. This Days of Thunder cinema ride will always have its charm either way.
I went in 1992-1993 and there was another ride I loved and I can't remember the name of it. It was like a sports stadium bleachers that swung high in the air and you could see the whole park. It wasn't scary and didn't go upside down or anything and was gorgeous at night.
at Canada's wonderland we got Dino Island, Meteor Attack, Superstition, Fun House Express, The Funtastic World of Hannah Barbera, Warrior of the Dawn, and 7th Portal (All great ride-films which I got the chance to ride back in the paramount days!)
I miss the motion simulator theather, I only rode it back when the park had SpongeBob 3D. But man I would love it if King's Island would bring back the montion simulator theather in the future.
i rode pretty much the exact same thing at carowinds in 1996. i was in sixth grade and all i could do the entire time was LAUGH MY BUTT OFF! the most memorable part for me was pit road.
You have no idea how happy I’am by watching this, tons of memories when I was kid
You had to have been there to know how AWESOME this was in the 90s.

God I remember this ride so much. The one thing I looked forward to that wasn't a rollercoaster.
I love this it was my dad's favorite made me teary eyed seeing it makes me think of him wish he was still here
Damn I can never forget how much fun this ride was lol 😆
Man, the FEELS I'm having watching this! Now, I need the footage for 007: License to Thrill - that ride was intense!

Yes!! I was a kid back in 93' riding this! Even to this day still better than ANY. Nothing has ever come as close!
To me, this was by far the best thing that ever was in the action theater at Carowinds,
They should bring it back, it would be neat to do a rerun of old films they used to have

I remember this from King's Dominion riding this as a kid!!!

This was the best attraction there when I was a kid, brings back so many memories
This was a good one when it was hot out too. !!!
I caught the tail end of this ride as a child in 1997 or 1998. Amazing ride! Still my favorite at King's Island!
Island? When did it change from kings dominion?
Okay, things like that seem like they wouldn’t be fun, but they ARE!!!
Great memories from riding this @ Canada's wonderland thanks for this upload...
Wow. This unlocks some memories. :(
Wow such good memories at Paramount Canadas wonderland as a kid going on this ride. Wish they still had it!
I loved the Action Theater! The James Bond and Spongebob films were great, too!
I would love to see footage from 007: Licence to Thrill.
Makes me think of Dad it was his favorite ride made me teary eyed seeing it wish dad was still here
I remember going on this as a kid I think it’s what started my love of cars
This ride was so fun, but I never understood why it made you look like you were so close to the ground and about to drive up under the cars 😂
They can bring it back to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC.

I love, love loved Days of Thunder as well as Spongebob!

Such a good ride!
This first came out at Great America and lines were 2 hours long haha

I only rode it as SpongeBob but I fondly remember Action Theater.

We only rode this to get in some A/C. LOL!
Man this would have been wild! Is that Nicole Kidman's silhouette?

All I remember was Days Of Thunder and 007. It wasn't the same after that.
I’m pretty sure they used this building for the urgent scare haunt during the haunt season.
Talk about nostalgia!!! Too bad it’ll never come back, it belonged to paramount copyright
any preshow footage?
Rode this about 6x in a day😅
It’s my schools 50th anniversary, also!
where was this
The building is sandwiched between where the racer tracks split up.
Italian job stunt track archive video please🥲
We used to have so much fun in this stupid thing.
