More soul-stirring than any of hundreds of other performances of Clair de Lune I've enjoyed. Both the artistry of Olivier Penin, and the extraordinary pipe organ voices move me to tears. Beginning to end are beautiful beyond words. The clarinet solo, and later the celeste (Unda Maris of Erzahler?) took my breath away.

Exprimé pour orgue dans une basilique,le "Clair de lune" de Debussy nous amène à une réflexion philosophique ou mystique voire les deux.Musique impressionniste avec sentiments de bien-être,d'apesanteur.Fort jolie interprétation tout en finesse.

Wonderful! I've always wished Debussy had written for organ, but apparently he was a secularist writing for opera, theater, and dance halls and probably had no access to good organs. This was a gorgeous adaptation by all involved.

Yes, with a virtuoso like Olivier Penin, and an elite class pipe organ like at St. Clotilde. I've heard other renditions on organ which were so blah, the piano, well played is far better. I've enjoyed many renditions: solo instruments, small chamber to full symphony orchestra. This performance surpasses all!

le cassoulet se fait à la cuisine pas dans la chambre toulousaine, alors debussy se joue au piano hortala et pas à l'orgue marle ouvrard! pianiste animateur généraliste frustré ne donne pas bon organiste albohrn!

Notez également que l'organiste n'est pas Baptiste Florian Marle Ouvrard mais Olivier Penin. Notez enfin, que quand bien même ça aurait été Baptiste Florian, votre commentaire serait probablement autant hors sujet. Bonne continuation sur les internets.

Comment peut-on dire autant de.... bêtises (pour être poli !), alors qu'on a un magnifique organiste, qui sait ce qu'il fait lorsqu'il transcrit une pièce de façon aussi magistrale ! Taisez vous donc, pauvre sot ignorant et sectaire ! et ouvrez un peu vos oreilles, ça va vaudra mieux que de dire n'importe quoi !!!
Je pense que Debussy doit applaudir des deux mains car cette transcription est superbe 👍
